Trying to get from a size 12 to a size 8... anyone want to join me?

I was determined that this year would be the year and so far all I've done is gain weight.

After crying this morning because none of my clothes fit, tomorrow I am starting again. I'm planning to calorie count - anyone want to join to support each other through, on any WOE?

When I did weightwatchers I used to make a few squares of bournville last longer by sucking them Grin
I gave up on noom for a second time (the app wasn't good enough, shame as the concept is good) and subscribed to MyFitnessPal premium, not overly impressed with that either tbh. I want flexibility by day and to be able to plan workouts, will have more of a look at garmin for the latter but I don't think the app I want exists, you'd think with a name including "fitness" there'd be better functionality.
I am currently down to 10st 4.5 after a handy sickness bug kickstarted my weight loss Hmm silver linings!

I have been doing loads of exercise. Scales are staying static. However it has only been a couple of weeks really. And I am now braving the gym for weights, so that will help.

Need to work out macros etc.

I thought I had gone back to square one..I havnt weighed myself in over a week and half. I made tge effort today to try again and I weighed less than my last weighing..currently standing at 67kg 😁 I will continue the effort. This last week has been difficult.

3lb gain this week, feel awful. Need to be extra good this week.

Next week*

Well mfp is working for me, it's just not perfect. Am half a stone down now at 10.1 and BMI is back in the normal category from overweight Blush noom just has no flexibility, can't plan a day ahead or look back on past days! The psychology stuff is quite good but didn't link it to the meal planner.
I get used to mild hunger quite quickly and I'm quite good at losing weight, I just struggle with the maintenance. Hoping running and vague calorie monitoring will work and no scales-dodging.

Just coming back to the thread after a busy couple of months with the house move. Suffice to say I gained even more weight thanks to a couple of weeks of takeaways!

I've been doing the body coach app for a couple of weeks now and I'm back in my size tens which I'm really pleased about. Craving cake tonight like nobody's business though...

How's everyone else getting on?
