Hi All welcome to the March loose 7lb a month. Our founder and usual host @cricketmum89 is taking a well earned break so I've started this thread to help keep us all on track.
We are a friendly bunch doing lots of different diets at lots of different weights.

I have just realised that 72-69.7 is 2.3 kilos, or 5 lbs in 3 weeks.
Even more pleased than I was before (and ashamed of how rubbish I am at maths Blush)

NerrSnerr · 28/03/2021 15:32

Ha all. I'm back on track today after my usual weekend days off. I went out for a run this morning, did 3.9 miles so really happy. Still very slow but that'll come in time. Been out with the children for a walk so now relaxing for the rest of the day (as much as you can relax with a 6 and 3 year old!)

Everyone's doing really well with their losses. I'm hoping to be 11st 7 by Friday for an 8 stone loss for March, that's the goal.

mybonnieliesovertheocean2 · 28/03/2021 15:58

day 13 of strict keto and zero alcohol...7lbs lost, 5 inches off the waist and 3 from boobs. Very happy and hoping to shift another 18 .
Started exercising yesterday too and feel fab.

NerrSnerr · 28/03/2021 17:51

That's amazing @mybonnieliesovertheocean2. I always feel so much better when I'm exercising- it really motivates me to eat better.

Themostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 29/03/2021 07:45

Wow really impressed by all the losses! I weighed this morning and have lost 0.7kg so happy with that.

SW: 79.6kg
CW: 78.5kg
GW: 68kg

NerrSnerr · 29/03/2021 17:44

Hope you're all having a good Monday. I didn't sleep well last night but have managed to mostly stay away from the snacks. I put a curry in the slow cooker as I know when tired I'm tempted to order a takeaway (and I already have one takeaway a week). Had a short blast on the exercise bike earlier and will do a Davina toned in 10 in a short while.

ILoveAnOwl · 29/03/2021 19:28

Last march weigh in!

SW: 117.6kg
CW: 102.2KG
TW: 68KG

So a March total of 4.8kg and so nearly 15.5kg down in total.

Given Easter and school holidays in April, I'm hoping for 3kg off next month.

mybonnieliesovertheocean2 · 29/03/2021 22:26

ILoveAnOwl amazing well done!

cricketmum84 · 30/03/2021 13:06

Back with a bang now I have managed to find you all again!

Well after a short term gain of 10lbs (!!!) when I was first diagnosed as T2 and started medication I'm back down to 14.12. I'm eating very very low carb with plenty of green veg and actually really enjoying it!

Looking forward to the April thread starting as I really really want to be at 14.0 by the end of April. I'm hoping if I keep eating like this then it can happen. Also hoping to take back the reins on the monthly threads for the start of May, hopefully one of you lovely little doesn't mind hosting April for me?

Unfortunately I still haven't seen a neurologist and still unable to walk although I am a little stronger and managing with my walking frame more than the wheelchair. God I ache today though! May be pushing myself a little too much.

Hope all are well, am loving scrolling through and seeing all the losses 🥰

Foresttheout · 30/03/2021 14:03

Welcome back @cricketmum84 and how embarrasing I got your name wrong in the OP!
so glad you are feeling stronger and doing ok, fingers crossed you can see someone soon.
I have been hopeless once again in march and have lost a grand total of 0.3kgs. I have pretty much been maintaining at 72.2kg for the last two weeks. Really need to get away from cheering myself up with sugar when things get tough. My leg injury is feeling a lot better so going to try and swap out the post work sugar filled snack for a post work long walk as I find the hours between finishing working from home and DP getting back the hardest mentally and its when i'm most likely to reach for a snack. Think I am also going to start meal planning lunches as its very easy to just make a quick cheese sandwich and then slump hours later.
Any suggestions for protein rich lunches that will fill me up? I bloody hate salad which doesn't help things

Haha @Foresttheout I hadn't even noticed the name fail! Don't worry 😂

Protein rich lunches for me are salads with prawns or spicy chicken. I jazz them up a bit with things like lime juice, chillis, coriander as I get bored of them easily. On a less hungry day just a plate of meat and cheese. Nice ham spread with Philadelphia and rolled up into tubes is lovely. Low carb wrap with chicken and salad, egg Mayo or tuna Mayo with celery sticks like a dip kinda thing?

Have you heard of chaffles?? Whisked egg, a teaspoon of baking powder and grated cheese (any type) cooked in a waffle maker! Absolutely gorgeous and also make a great alternative pizza base.

God knows how long I'll be waiting for the neurologist. My uncle has just been diagnosed with MND after a 7 month wait!

NerrSnerr · 31/03/2021 09:09

Morning all and lovely to see you @cricketmum84. Really pleased you're slowly getting stronger.

I'm still 11st 8 and tying to have an extra good day today to see if I can squeeze in an extra pound for the final weigh in tomorrow but will still be happy if I stay where I am.

Our gym is open for outdoor exercise. Took my 6 year old swimming yesterday and although the pool was chilly it was lovely. I have an outdoor Pilates booked for this evening.

The sunny weather has motivated me to really push harder, I really want to be a lot smaller by June, July time. I'm feeling motivated by exercising and I'm hoping by the end of April to be fitting into some smaller clothes.

Smarshian · 31/03/2021 09:46

Morning all! Well done for the losses and exercise. @NerrSnerr and @mybonnieliesovertheocean2 I also find exercise helps me keep motivated.
I have been doing a 100k in March challenge, I have my final run planned tonight which will get me there, and netball started back up last night too.
I have weighed in this morning at 10st 3lb.
So stats so far:
SW: 11st 2lb
March SW: 10st 9lb
CW: 10st 3lb
GW: 9st 2lb I think, will see how I feel as I get closer.
Would love to be in the 9’s by the end of April.

MegBusset · 31/03/2021 16:40

Great losses everyone!

I have been enjoying a week off work and thus have had a drink every night since last Thursday, with subsequent chocolate eating! So calories have gone out the window and no loss this week. Am back on it today and looking forward to joining the April thread.

NerrSnerr · 01/04/2021 07:16

Morning all. Just done my final weigh in.
SW May 2020 12s6
1 March 2021 12st1
CW 11st7

Very happy with an 8lb loss. Have really upped my exercise this month and have been loving it. I ran 4 miles last Sunday and outdoor classes have started so I did Pilates yesterday. We also have an outdoor pool at my gym, I have taken my daughter but haven't had a swim myself yet but will this weekend.

MegBusset · 01/04/2021 10:52

Is there an April thread?

Ecci · 01/04/2021 11:35

Morning all, final weigh in for March and I've lost 2.6 lbs this month, so still going down steadily but so slowly.
SW 15 St 12.4 lbs
CW 11 St 1.4 lbs
Total loss 4 St 11lbs.
Hoping to get to 10st 12.4lbs by the end of April, which would give me a 5 St loss and put me in the 10s for the first time for many many years.
