Hi All welcome to the March loose 7lb a month. Our founder and usual host @cricketmum89 is taking a well earned break so I've started this thread to help keep us all on track.
We are a friendly bunch doing lots of different diets at lots of different weights.

Good morning everyone how's everyone doing today? The week is catching up with me and I just want to snack on naughty stuff !!

Nyancat · 04/03/2021 14:28

Not feeling as ravenous as I have been the last few days. I've been eating very carb/sugar heavy the last lot of months and trying to go cold turkey on sugar which was making me want to chew my arm off the last few days. Hoping I've maybe turned a bit of a corner today (overly optimistic I know but going with it for now).

TangerineGreen · 04/03/2021 15:07

Same Gold, mainly trying to stay upstairs to work, if I drift into the kitchen I’m too tempted to start snacking! Overall I’m being super good though compared to Jan/feb, keeping everything crossed for some (however tiny) change on the scales at the weekend! 🤞🤞🤞 stay strong everyone!
right, time for a walk!

EasterIssland · 04/03/2021 15:15

I was quite down yesterday so ate more than what I should have. back on track today

theshellhouse · 04/03/2021 15:56

Hello, I'm very hungry today as I went for a run but have been grazing on huge amounts of fruit which is a win for me. I've had a bad day on 1st March (tired and hungover) and then a medium day and a good day yesterday and now I'm itching to get the scales out and see if I've lost weight from the good day. Hmm Hmm This is at least giving me some insight into why I get discouraged so easily! I've hidden the scales under my bed - not touching them for a month will be agony.

Foresttheout · 05/03/2021 06:33

Goodness waiting a moth is restrained @theshellhouse I find if I weigh daily I get really discouraged so I weigh myself weekly usually or sometimes twice a week if I need a bit of encouragement to behave.
Weighed in this morning at 71.3kg which is a positive start, hoping to reach 70kg by the end of the month.

I have finally lost a stone since restarting my diet took forever

I won a box of donuts so have decided to take today off and celebrate Mother's day early. I wouldn't eat donuts today and then something non-keto next weekend too. So, takeaway for dinner and steer clear of the scales for a week Grin Unfortunately DD is in hospital and missing out, on donuts and celebrating. She doesn't live with us but works for DH Monday to Friday so would usually have been here to join us. Trying to keep it light and not to worry too much but we know how that goes! And DS1 is working in Kenya. Just the youngest of the pack here to pamper me, lucky DS Wink

GetTheStartyParted · 05/03/2021 13:23

Sorry, that post was very me me me!

I agree @Foresttheout, daily is bad. I keep slipping back into that but feel better when it's once or twice a week.

Hope you're all back on track after the midweek wobbles. So difficult to keep going when you feel really hungry.

Hartleyhare1206 · 05/03/2021 13:36

@GetTheStartyParted donuts sound yum!

Having a bit of a mixed day here - did the school run on foot which is about 1.5 miles of brisk walking, and then met a friend for a long dog walk thorough hilly countyside - about 3.5 miles. Great! Friend turned up with a latte and a brownie for me from a yummy local deli....not so great 🤦‍♀️
Hoping that doesn’t come back to
Haunt me on Sunday when I weigh in.

Hope you all have a good day xx

GetTheStartyParted · 05/03/2021 14:12

They are delicious @Hartleyhare1206 I have already shared one with DS. I hope you enjoyed your brownie - and of course your walk too.

DD is staying in hospital for the weekend now, they won't be doing anything but monitoring until Mon/Tues so she has a long, boring weekend ahead of her.

Hartleyhare1206 · 05/03/2021 14:20

@GetTheStartyParted the walk was good but the brownie was better 🤪
Hope your daughter makes a speedy recovery 💐

EasterIssland · 05/03/2021 14:22

@GetTheStartyParted im sure donuts don’t count and are 0 kcal:) hope your daughter feels better soon and is discharge !

I tend to weight daily (I know). Yesterday was 0.5kg higher but I barely did any exercise on Wednesday and had a heavy dinner so was expecting it.

My official weight in day is tomorrow and I’ve been doing loads of exercise so hoping to lose a bit even if it’s 100gr.

GetTheStartyParted · 05/03/2021 15:34

Thank you!

Good to hear the donuts were not only free but also calorie free, that's a bonus Grin

Foresttheout · 05/03/2021 15:34

@GetTheStartyParted ohh enjoy those donuts and think of me and your poor DS here in East Africa it might be sunny but you cannot find a decent donut anywhere, believe me I have sampled them all Blush
Pizza for dinner here tonight but home made and I'll limit the size of mine so that it's a sensible number of calories.

@GetTheStartyParted wishing your dd a speedy recovery and discharge soon! Enjoy your donuts!!

Haven't done too bad this week, have stuck to the 16:8 (only the 5th day but hey I'm proud of myself!) and have done a 30min zoom class every day. Another 30mins hiit in the morning then Sunday is my rest day, I feckin need it! Am finding the zoom classes much easier to stick to than YouTube workouts, when I've paid the ££ I make sure I do it!!

Always find the weekends the hardest as oh is around and I am much more likely to snack during the evening so need to make sure I don't undo my hard work.

Already itching to weigh but will wait til Wednesday!

Tash6000 · 05/03/2021 20:17

Oh I was on the Feb thread. Lost 6lb in Feb in the end.
Weighed in this morning and down just over 1lb for March so far. Hoping to lose a pound a week. That'll take me down to 10st3 by the end of March if it goes to plan!
We can do this 🙌

Smarshian · 06/03/2021 07:51

Weighed in this morning at 10st 8lb exactly (was 10st 8.75 last time I weighed), hoping to be 10st 6.something by Tuesday which is my official weigh day, so just over a pound off.
@golddustwomen I always find the weekend hardest too. Going to concentrate on plenty of water, walks, runs and keep the treats to a minimum today.
Aiming for a 10k tomorrow as I am working towards a 100k in March challenge.

EasterIssland · 06/03/2021 07:55

As expected I’ve put 0.5 this week. I was really demotivated until Wednesday and barely did exercise until Thursday so no surprise there. Hoping to eat healthy today and bit of exercise might help shifting at least that 0.5

NerrSnerr · 06/03/2021 08:36

Hi all. Had a takeaway yesterday but back on track today. Have had a mixed week, had a few good but also a few bad days.

Not much planned today (as what is there to do?). I'll take the children out for a walk, my vote is to go for a proper walk (we have some countryside within walking distance), but they'll want the park. Our local parks have been rammed since the weather has improved/ the school announcement so it's harder to keep our distance.

Ecci · 06/03/2021 09:16

I weigh daily but only record weight weekly on my spreadsheet (@theshellhouse I am in awe of you only weighing monthly). Yesterday I was 158 lbs, my friend gave me a piece of her birthday cake, chocolate fudge, delicious, first time I've had cake since Christmas. Apart from that, I stayed on the plan. Today I'm 157 lbs. Bit confused, I expected an increase, but very pleased.

Howmanysleepsnow · 06/03/2021 10:39

Hi, just checking in! I haven’t weighed for a few days and expect to have gained as I haven’t been watching what I eat enough (combination of migraines/ TOTM/ work). I imagine I’m around 10st now, but stats from 1st March are:
CW 9st 8.5lb (likely 10st by now!)
SW 12st 6lb (13 months ago)
GW 9st 6lb
Target for March 9st 6lb

theshellhouse · 06/03/2021 11:54

@ecci I haven't managed it yet! Grin So far I'm on day 5 of scales hidden under the bed.

Hartleyhare1206 · 07/03/2021 08:08

Not entirely sure how I’ve managed this but weighed today and 3.3lbs down! Total loss since mid jan -12.2lbs. Don’t think I’ve ever lost that much in one week. Will
Gladly take it though as period due this week so expecting to be bloated and full of excess water at the next weigh in so at least this should help keep me motivated.
Either you guys are my lucky charms or eating Brownies aids weightloss!

Happy Sunday everyone, have a great day xx

Howmanysleepsnow · 07/03/2021 09:55

Well done @Hartleyhare1206! The brownie diet is definitely one to consider Grin
I’ve braved the scales today and as expected I’ve gained the last week and am 9st13lb. No more excuses, I need to lose my final 7lb this month. I’m going to meal plan for the week and shop accordingly. I’m also hoping that now the kids are going back to school I’ll have more time to plan healthy meals and get a bit more exercise (and need to comfort eat less!) I’m on a night shift on Tuesday so that has additional challenges but hopefully I can work round them!

TangerineGreen · 07/03/2021 10:32

Weigh in day for me..
SW 10st 4
CW- 10st 3
GW- 9st
I’ve tried to be so good this week, kept to my daily 5K (alternate walk, then next jog/walk) with one rest day. Good to see the scale starting to move downwards.
Good luck everybody doing, especially those with hopeful weigh ins 🍀🍀
