Hi All welcome to the March loose 7lb a month. Our founder and usual host @cricketmum89 is taking a well earned break so I've started this thread to help keep us all on track.
We are a friendly bunch doing lots of different diets at lots of different weights.

Thanks @Howmanysleepsnow I can highly reccomend the brownies 🤣
Kids going back will make a huge difference I’m sure, and you’ll nail those 7lbs xx

MegBusset · 07/03/2021 19:04

Hello, can I join please?

Lockdown plus changing from part-time to full-time work means I've been eating more and moving less. I've not got a huge amount to lose but I'm well out of my comfort zone and want to get it under control before the extra pounds get too comfortable Grin

I started on Friday and am calorie counting with MFP - the only method that works for me. I can't do high-impact exercise for various health reasons but do a lot of walking and hope to get back to swimming asap.

SW: 10st 4lb
CW: 10st 2lb
GW: 9st 4lb

I'm a daily weigher, get twitchy if I go more than a couple of days.

Tash6000 · 08/03/2021 11:49

Mid week weigh in for me and down another 1lb from Friday. 8lb lost so far from 2nd week of Feb. Would like to lose at least 7 more pounds minimum to be at my target weight

namechange53848593 · 08/03/2021 12:34

Hello

Please can I join?

I'd done really well and got down to my goal weight but then I've let things slip with Christmas and the cold weather making me feel less enthusiastic to go out and get some exercise and so a stone has crept back on. I'm hoping to go away at the end of April (lockdown permitting) for a weekend and so I want to try and get back down to goal by then.

CW: 10 stone 12
GW: 9 stone 13

I've gone back to tracking my food and exercise and hoping if I have to be accountable here it will help Smile

Onesmallstep67 · 08/03/2021 12:56

Hi, missing from the thread for a few days, got distracted by too many sweet things in the house following my birthday. need to get back on track so going to try very hard in the rest of the month and up to eater, hoping to lose at least 7lbs in next 4 weeks.
Well done to everyone sticking with it

pumpkinpig · 08/03/2021 13:14

Late to the party but I’d love a bit of accountability.

Originally started my weight loss back in January 2020 when I weighed in at 174.8lbs which was the heaviest ever. All went to pot with lockdown and wedding and honeymoon cancellations! I managed to get down to about 165lb at one point last year but gained it all back.

New SW 01/03/21 170.8lbs
CW 08/03/21 166.4lbs

Think this was definitely a fluke! I must have been really bloated or holding a lot of water last week. I’ve been calorie counting at around 1200-1300 a day with one 1700 day this week. Not cutting carbs or anything like that. I don’t really have a goal weight, just the dreaded “I could do with losing a stone” mantra.

ILoveAnOwl · 08/03/2021 15:33

SW: 117.7kg
CW: 106kg
GW: 67kg

Total last week was 1kg off. Let's hope for another this week, then I'm down two stone (mixing my metric and imperial metaphors there!)

EasterIssland · 08/03/2021 15:49

Mondays are one of the worse days for me, I always feel demotivated and wanting to eat all the crap I can find . I had the vaccine on Saturday and feeling low energy, tried 30mins body step and ended after 15 .... on Friday I did 55 mins

I think with this behaviour ii'm going to put more than lose Blush

Tanaqui · 08/03/2021 18:36

@ILoveAnOwl, I mix all the weights to get a mini victory- my scale does stone and lb, lb only, and kilos! Can really help!

golddustwomen · 09/03/2021 19:46

Hi everyone, hope you're all okay!

Weigh day for me tomorrow, not expecting much as after doing so well all week, I ate like a fucking pig all weekend. Not feeling very well today either but have so far managed to stay away from the comfort food.

MegBusset · 09/03/2021 20:49

I'm doing well so far, but that usually happens - then after a couple of weeks my weight plateaus and I lose all motivation. But so far so good...

SW: 10st 4lb
CW: 10st 0.4lb
GW: 9st 4lb

Haven't been under 10st since before Christmas, fingers crossed it won't be long.

(I can't work in kg or lb, has to be stones for me!)

HippoHips · 09/03/2021 21:45

HippoHips is back on the weight loss threads! Please can I join. Last year I was on a January thread and lost a fabulous 6 kilos and it stayed off for almost a year. The last few months though have been a steady slide back into constant guzzling. I’d like to lose 3 kilos by Easter. I’d be delighted with 4 by May. Plan is to cut out/down on sugar, caffeine and count my calories midweek. Bit of cheating at weekends. I hit 50 a while ago (years not kilos) and my age is definitely hampering my dieting! Keep me on track please all! I’ve got no willpower and I’m a liability to myself x

golddustwomen · 10/03/2021 09:58

Just weighed myself and 3lbs loss this week! Come on! A little surprised as I over ate this weekend but glad I didn't wreck all the hard work I put in during the week.

SW - 11st 9
CW - 11st 6

Hartleyhare1206 · 10/03/2021 10:49

Well done @golddustwomen 🥳🥳🥳

Foresttheout · 10/03/2021 11:51

Hello to all the newcomers welcome!
I have been utterly hopeless this week after doing really well last week. Was very sick Monday + Tuesday with a fever but strangely also insanely hungry so I ended up snacking on endless carbs because they made me feel better. Trying to end the week better than I started it and kickstarting that with a Hiit class this evening.

OP posts:
superram · 10/03/2021 13:18

Sw: 13.12
Cw: 11.7
Gw: 10.10 (though 11 stone would be immense)

I’d love to lose 7lb before Easter as I’m worried about maintaining/losing once life returns to normal. Any help much appreciated! 10.10 would make by bmi exactly 25 but I think any lower is not achievable long term.

Nyancat · 11/03/2021 07:55

Weigh in day for me
Sw 11.4
Cw 11
Gw 9.4
Just 1lb off this week, but every bit helps and all that. Have been very lazy this week so not much exercise apart from walking the dog and a dip in the sea at the weekend so need to get on that. I've stuck to the fasting though so feeling positive about that.

Howmanysleepsnow · 11/03/2021 08:24

Quick check in. 9st13 today, so 0.5lb down.

NerrSnerr · 11/03/2021 09:22

Morning all. I haven't weighed for a few days but I have been eating pretty well. I even went for a run yesterday first time in a very long time. Managed a mile. Going to go out again today- as much as I like working out at home running burns more calories (than the workouts I like).

Cannot bloody wait for the gyms to reopen. I think my gym is going to offer outdoor classes from the 29th of March and have the outdoor pool open. This makes me very happy.

golddustwomen · 11/03/2021 17:51

@Howmanysleepsnow @Nyancat well done for the losses !!

My high from 3lbs down yesterday is well and truly over. Both me and ds are full of cold and all I want to do is eat chocolate. Going to have a bar when I've got the kids down tonight. Eff it !

GetTheStartyParted · 12/03/2021 08:21

Morning all and well done losers Grin

@golddustwomen I hope you enjoyed it and accept it's just what you needed. The occasional treat does us good!

I lost 2lb last week but put 1lb back on because of my carb-fest. This week I have lost that 1lb again plus an additional one. So 3lb down for March so far, though official weigh in day is Monday for me.

My treadmill arrived this week, and I have done a half hour program for the last 3 days. Not the hardest or fastest but I'm quite pleased with myself considering I have never been running before.

DD couldn't tolerate the diagnostic procedure so has been discharged and is awaiting an MRI scan now. She feels OK so hopefully will be. Thanks for you well wishes.

Onesmallstep67 · 12/03/2021 09:16

Happy Friday everyone. I have been bobbling around with my weight and my efforts but have had a good couple of days and feel a bit more in the zone with it. I'm still slightly above my lowest February weight so I'm not counting any proper loss until I am below that again.
Hope everyone has a good weekend. Keep on keeping on !

EasterIssland · 13/03/2021 07:17

Weight in day for me

Sw 13st 7.5 (1/2/2021)
March weight 13st 2
Cw 12st 12lb
Gw 11st 11.5 by summer

So after a week where I didn’t lose or weight I’ve lost 4lbs in one week.

Smarshian · 13/03/2021 07:23

Well done @EasterIssland!
I started off March at 10st 9lb.
CW 10st 6lb, but after a curry and champagne celebration last night I’m thinking that won’t stay for my official weigh day on Tuesday, especially as we have brownies which the DC have bought me for Sunday.
Will try to be good around that and going for a long run tomorrow.

NerrSnerr · 13/03/2021 10:48

I was 11st 9 this morning which is a 6lbs loss for March. Will have takeaway and a few drinks tonight though so need to stay on track for all other meals. I have being doing well with exercise the last few days, running and using the exercise bike. We have a very big hill near which is exactly 3 miles there and back so that's my goal, I'm going further every time (and it's a lovely downhill run home)
