@HowlingGale
8lbs is great!
Don't be disappointed.
Even though I've done well in my first week I'm so bloody fat that is not noticeable!
Dreaming of a lovely new wardrobe of clothes I like and some confidence in myself. Sounds like you're the same.
Had my hair cut yesterday, and a little smattering of botox too, to spur me forwards. (Not in the UK) Ordering some olaflex for my hair today.
I feel indulgent but I have to do this, I have to.

CelestialGalaxy · 19/03/2021 13:26

@Howlinggale I'm exactly the same as you. In three weeks I've lost 8 lbs and for the weight to go down i have to eat barely anything 😐 I'm going up to 1.2 Although I dont feel hungry, I'm not eating loads and it still isn't falling off and I walk for 40 mins most days etc

andadietcoke · 19/03/2021 13:47

Just back from my 4-week Lloyds checkup. I've lost 10kg which is a lot more than I thought!!

MolotovMocktail · 19/03/2021 13:51

@andadietcoke wowwwww you must be thrilled, well done!!

andadietcoke · 19/03/2021 13:58

Really happy but can't work out how my scales can be so different to theirs. I did get a new set after a week or so but still...

shutterteal · 19/03/2021 14:21

@andadietcoke
Well done!

HowlingGale · 19/03/2021 15:18

andadietcoke fantastic result! 10kg in 4 weeks is amazing! That's over a stone and a half in old money!

HowlingGale · 19/03/2021 15:22

shutterteal I'm the same, so huge that I think I need to lose at least a stone before it becomes noticeable to others, though my clothes are feeling a bit looser. And I think being nice to ourselves is only a good thing - if it makes you feel better about yourself that can only be a positive. Personally I cannot wait to get to the hairdressers, but have an appointment for April when they reopen here. Haven't had it cut since last August Shock

andadietcoke · 19/03/2021 16:23

@HowlingGale the first thing I did when I got in the car was google 'kg to stones conversion' Grin
Pharmacist didn't bat an eyelid. She's not really a people person. Back on 16 April for my next check.

CelestialGalaxy · 19/03/2021 18:56

Wow well done @andadietcoke and @shutterteal

notapizzaeater · 20/03/2021 11:11

Weigh in this morning. 3.2lb off this week so 48.4lbs in total

andadietcoke · 20/03/2021 13:25

That's brilliant @notapizzaeater - so good to see you're still getting decent losses.

MolotovMocktail · 20/03/2021 17:17

Some amazing losses, congrats! I’m doing much better on 1.2, haven’t weighed myself yet but my appetite is minimal today.

Chrissols · 20/03/2021 17:34

I went onto 1.2 on Thursday and today have felt quite nauseous and had to run to the loo a couple of times so hopefully something is finally working. I am 4lb down but this was in the first three days so hoping to see some lbs disappearing soon

shutterteal · 21/03/2021 02:45

@notapizzaeater That's fantastic! @Chrissols I'm sorry you're not feeling good. Hopefully it'll all be worth it.

Miltonkeynesmummy · 21/03/2021 18:35

How's everyone doing today? I'm feel full of energy. Did a workout earlier and did an hour and a half walk with lots of hills so that felt good. Just had a couple of slices of roast lamb for tea with veg. I didn't even vaguely fancy pudding even when it was offered.

shutterteal · 22/03/2021 03:13

Milton.....that's so inspiring.
I'm doing good, thanks. 7kg off. Day 12 today.
I walk everyday and my step is lighter with the weight loss.
1.2 has given me some occasional nausea and a bit of acid reflux, but honestly, I'll deal with most things to be a decent weight.
4kg to my first goal of 100k.
My Saxenda journey is a secret. I've told no one as I don't want any pressure so here is where I can talk out it.
Is anyone else keeping it confidential?

Miltonkeynesmummy · 22/03/2021 05:52

I've told my husband but no one else as I know they'd be horrified.

MolotovMocktail · 22/03/2021 09:14

I haven’t told anyone else, not even my husband! I do tell him most things but he’s quite against putting weird things in your body for the sake of appearance, unlike me Grin So he doesn’t know about the small amounts of fillers and Botox I get either.

MolotovMocktail · 22/03/2021 09:16

Hope you’re feeling better @Chrissols I have been good on 1.2, much better appetite control than on 0.6.

andadietcoke · 22/03/2021 09:58

My husband knows, one friend, and a colleague in the US who's also struggling with her weight.

My sister is a mental health nurse and is an absolute nightmare for scaremongering, and my mum would tell her, so I'm just not going there.

shutterteal · 22/03/2021 12:21

All our secrets.
My family would be horrified! And about my Botox too.
I'd get none stop negative comments.
Some things are best kept to oneself.

HowlingGale · 22/03/2021 12:40

One of my friends knows, but I haven't told anyone else. Would be embarrassed to admit it for some reason! Hence why it's good to be able to talk about it here. Well done everyone for latest losses, I am waiting till Friday to weigh myself, so fingers crossed this week is better than last.

Chrissols · 22/03/2021 12:56

I have told my husband and my pharmacist and that is all. I am like @HowlingGale, for some reason feel slightly embarrassed, goodness knows why, I guess it's like saying 'I'm fat' to the world

Chrissols · 22/03/2021 13:21

My neighbour, not a very nice lady, is training to be a nurse and turned to be a few weeks ago stating 'you could never be a nurse, you're too fat'!!
