Ended up at 1500 with the addition of a banana. No, the WW experiment has ended. I can see how it worked back then, but what a joyless miserable existence. It was a distraction from the misery, a different type of misery. Up .4 for no specific reason, in work since 7, no steps and no desire to get any. Started early in order to clock off early so I can visit family to be moaned at for 2 hours - I'm already feeling depressed I could do without it

Not Flowers look for body combat on you tube and picture a face to punch. Works wonders for the stress levels and give a bit of a lift too

ememem84 · 03/02/2021 13:12

not one of my faves on you tube is the fitness marshall. he's insane. but super fun. or a cheerleader dance workout.

been for a run and managed to run for 17 minutes straight. have never done that in my life before. yay!

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2021 13:28

Thanks guys, ended up having to reschedule visit as work got too busy. So that took a level of crappy out of the day. Had a cake that lifted my spirits, who says eating your feelings is bad! Of course it's not great when you're trying to lose weight but needs must. Have loads of body combat on the les Mills, love cardio boxing - loved it from my Davina days.
Brilliant to get 17 mins em, you're building stamina for sure.

Well done em! Such a great feeling.

I got up early today and did yoga before class, it actually put me in a really good mood. Waiting for DH to finish teaching (did I mention he is also a teacher?!) and then going for a walk to blow the cobwebs away.
I should really be preparing and planning the rest of the week’s lessons but all I can do is obsessively read the IVF boards and think about my transfer! Confused

ememem84 · 03/02/2021 14:55

i feel like i've really achieved something with my run. i also felt like i was going to die at one point. oooh it was tough actually. i was meant to do 20 minutes (c25k week 5 run 3) but just couldn't do it. i was exhausted.

but 17 minutes is good for me.

where i'm aiming to be is lighter fitter and stronger. which will help with my main goal of getting back into showjumping again and competing. currently im working on my jump technique, confidence and positioning whilst riding, but need to work on stamina as when i've done a small course at speed in the riding lessons i've been exhausted!

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2021 16:07

You obsess away gen, I'd be exactly the same, how could you not be? Good for you doing the yoga, very zen.
On just under 7,000 steps. Quite busy today which I've enjoyed. Spoke to some people on the phone, it was soo nice just chatting to new people.

We are having heck chicken burgers (no buns as I forgot to buy them, DH is raging lol) with homemade wedges and salad. The progesterone is making me so drowsy, I can hardly stay awake!!

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/02/2021 20:12

Rest up gen and fingers crossed for sticky transfer tomorrow.
Chipper chips for tea. Low on protein and huge on carbs. About 1-200 over as didn't weigh chips. Small tray thought

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/02/2021 20:12

14222 steps

Not2bObvious · 03/02/2021 21:10

250 over and 11,000 steps - good enough for a down day. Sending massive positive vibes gen 🤞

Gensola · 03/02/2021 22:33

Thanks everyone Smile
15,909 steps today and yoga class this morning.
Food was good too. Weighing tomorrow before clinic as a base line, hope it will be 65 still or even 64.5. I wish I had started eating and steps etc a few weeks earlier than I did really. Ah well!

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/02/2021 06:54

That's great for a down day not.

ememem84 · 04/02/2021 08:49

All done - the embryo defrosted beautifully and was top quality and already growing again. They said this one wants to get in there ASAP! They seemed to think it has a really good chance. we got to see it going in on the ultrasound, so amazing to see this tiny bright white dot settling in.

lifelongfrugaleer · 04/02/2021 13:14

Everything crossed for you gen

Mrsmadevans · 04/02/2021 14:07

Not2bObvious · 04/02/2021 15:14

That's so good that the transfer went so well gen, sending you all the positive vibes.
Changed into nice'ish workout gear in the hope it makes working out easier! It's a bit of a struggle but I know I'll feel better once it's done. Had quite a large breakfast for lunch type thing, basin/sausage/toast pudding - so I should have loads of energy (snort!)

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 04/02/2021 16:56

Started the workout at just over 8,000 - and at 1480 cals, did 30 mins body combat & a 45 min jog on the treadmill, 18,000 and now at 2150! Blinking delighted. That might make room for dessert later😉
