A few people might pearl clutch at the use of fat fucker. Can if you want though

I've done the Facebook equivalent of man down the pub with alleged free diet coaching.

Mrsmadevans · 30/01/2021 07:49

@Not2bObvious

On it like a car bonnet even - soz
🤣🤣🤣 Not too bad but need to try harder says my school report😁
Not2bObvious · 30/01/2021 08:06

Thanks to a 1lb gain, I've now moved from a .2 loss to a maintain this week. Can't complain considering - had 2 nights with too much treat type food & alcohol. As long as my lifestyle is like this, I may count myself lucky to maintain. Pity it's such an effort!
No - I think I'll refrain from using that as a title, v few cals burned in pearl clutching. We'll need a new thread soon, maybe a new home will give us a shake up

Life I was tempted to rejoin too but then I didn’t lose with them and I genuinely was tracking and beasting steps and workouts. I think for me the 1700 cals was too high, and was probably going to mean a super slow weight loss that demotivated me in the end as after 8 weeks of hard graft (!) I hadn’t lost anything at all. Bought the scales to measure food and everything. Then did the fast800 and lost 8lb in 3 weeks.
The value of the RH experience was I know I can eat 1700-1800 and maintain very solidly so once I’ve lost the weight I’m hoping to settle around 1600-1800.
I’ve been wondering about throwing in two 800 cal days as I didn’t find the fast 800 too hard as I like the food etc.

Not2bObvious · 30/01/2021 08:35

I'm listening to a podcast and it talks about taking a lower deficit a couple of days a week gen - your idea of a couple of 800 would fit that, fair play if you can handle it. I think my minimum is maybe 1200, I wonder if I could do 2 days at that, 3 at 1700, and then 2 at maintenance of 2100. I'd be on average 1670. Fresh month on Monday, might try that

Hey everyone

Did the 8lbs from fast 800 gensola? I've never gone that low except for doing the meal replacement thingy

Had Chinese and wine last night with dm, she left today, dc are at their dads it's strange to have house to myself again but good strange.

I'm going alcohol free from 1st feb until Easter, that definitely helped my weight loss in 2019.
Also ordered spice entice meal kit so going takeaway free too.

Love idea of new thread title Grin

Don't rejoin life you have all the info

Gensola · 30/01/2021 15:33

happier yes - this was in the summer and I’ve since put it all back on lol. It was for my wedding, but then we drank and ate everything in sight for months.
It is hard but it works, I just don’t know if it is wise for me when in an active IVF cycle. If the embryo transfer doesn’t work I’ll probably do 3-4 weeks of Fast800 before trying again.
At the moment I’m plateaued again but I’ve lost 4-5lbs since Christmas and am keeping it off.

Happierwithouthim · 30/01/2021 18:26

I need things in my life to come together before I get very serious about weight loss but I'm only working 3 day week for feb so exercise will be had regularly.

Not2bObvious · 30/01/2021 19:43

First dry Saturday in ages. Had our weekly takeaway early & it wasn't a meal that wine goes with. So the want didn't come and I haven't forced it. Had some chocolate with a cuppa, that's me done.
Good for you going AF for Feb happier and takeaway too, you'll be like a reed come March.

We are getting a Chinese but I also stress ate two bags of crisps in the car on the way to the in laws to mop up DFIL who had a fall and lost control of his bowels as he has taken a reaction to the CV19 vaccine. We’ve had a 4 hour round trip to sort them out so the healthy enchiladas cooked from scratch have gone out the proverbial!

Not2bObvious · 30/01/2021 20:52

I'm not surprised you had a stress eat, that must have been very upsetting for all. Your poor Fil, you guys are very good to go help - clearly not a short distance, I think you deserve something easy/comforting for dinner. Not the time to try home cooking after a stressful day. I hadn't heard of that reaction, only of the sore arm and lethargy. That'd be a very unsettling experience for most, hopefully it's rare and he's ok now?

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 30/01/2021 20:54

That's a totally understand stress eating gen. Rest up now you have sorted him.

Not2bObvious · 31/01/2021 08:11

Up .6 on yesterday but down 1.2 on last Sunday. Average down by .1, haha, I'm wasting away! It was meant to snow overnight here, no sign. Might get out for a walk before breakfast, doesn't look icy either. Am also thinking of doing some kind of workout, my arms were v sore yesterday but seem fine today. Now I just need to drag my arse out of bed

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 31/01/2021 10:32

Still in bed 🤦‍♀️

lifelongfrugaleer · 31/01/2021 11:28

Enjoy not

Gensola · 31/01/2021 12:57

Down 0.5kg despite crisps and Chinese. Maybe stress burned off all the calories?!

So far today have had 1 brown toast and marmite and then lunch of a mug of tomato soup with avocado and vegan bacon on a slice of sourdough. Dinner will be fish cakes and veg. Off for a walk before settling down to the marking mountain! Only 4 days til embryo transfer Grin

Not2bObvious · 31/01/2021 19:59

That's a nice loss gen, you deserve it, you've been way more good than bad. I'd just be focusing on minding yourself for the next 4 days, nothing more important at the moment than this transfer, cotton wool time.
Dragged my butt up, changed the bed, did a 40 min body combat workout, short walk and I'll make my min 9,000 shortly. Ate everything this avo, had wine with lunch, choc & crisps all afternoon long watching tv. Toastie for tea.
Next week will be better Blush

Mrsmadevans · 31/01/2021 20:49

Been disastrous today Hmm
Nevermind there is always tomorrow/ next week Not , l seriously need to get a grip!
Excellent loss Gen just take care of yourself ready for the precious transfer, have everything crossed for you , your poor Fil l hope he is fine now bless him Smile

Gensola · 31/01/2021 23:53

Steps not great today because of marking mountain. Will try v hard for 15000 each day this week. Averaged out at 12,500 this week so it’s just that little push. I find if I have one or two bad days then I can’t catch up on that total of 105,000 for the week.
Once I have the transfer I can’t go on the bike with any real intensity, they say 30 mins exercise is fine but you should be able to have a conversation. So going to focus on yoga and walking.
FIL was in hospital today again but is home now. He’s just really frail. Sad he’s had his carer to put him to bed.

Day planned out for 1600 calories. I have 348 left but need couple g of protein and fibres, scales braved and it was not pretty. Will do aerobic when the DC wake up. Might try and get a walk around the block. Aiming for 10k steps per day as 15 is just unobtainable during the week.

lifelongfrugaleer · 01/02/2021 07:10

Frugal fat fucker to fabulous fat loss in February is a go, go, go.

Gensola · 01/02/2021 07:58
