Oh ahaha! Sorry being thick.
I’ll be pretty happy to maintain if the pregnancy sticks post transfer. The nurse says to try and maintain until 15-20 weeks then gain slowly from there. She says it’s common for women to lose weight in first trimester with not drinking and often being sick but that I shouldn’t try to lose. So will just keep active and eat well and hope not to gain!!

Not2bObvious · 01/02/2021 13:31

I gained stupid weight with my first, and less with my second - learned my lesson and needed to protect my mobility. Long gone are the days of being encouraged to eat for two.
Got my walk in early but I'm short around 6,000 to hit my 15,000 - ouf, I'll have to get a walk later.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 01/02/2021 15:27

Quick walk done, still 3,500 to go. Ugh

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/02/2021 19:35

Day 1 hasn't been amazing. 1716 calories and only 6700 steps but it's a start

Happierwithouthim · 01/02/2021 19:51

Day 1 not great here
Snacks galore, meals fine though, water 2 litres instead of 3, I don't want to be up to toilet all night so will probably leave it at that, haven't last pint of 2l drank yet.
I'm taking holidays due to dc at home from
School so today went well and they went to their dads at two, I'm a bit under the weather with my throat so I figured I'd look after myself when they were gone. Tv for 30 mins, reading for 30 mins and went to bed for a nap, figured an hour, woke 3 hours later!!

Gen advice is 1lb per month up to 5/6 months and 1lb a week thereafter, although I've had friends who've been lighter after due to being overweight starting out, focus on transfer not exercise now pet

Not Grin** like a Reed Grin
Life sounds alright for day 1 to me BiscuitStar

Not2bObvious · 01/02/2021 20:07

Good work life, sounds like a decent start.
I've had constant sore throat for months happier, putting it down to so much house time/central heating, if you're not feeling great then wouldn't worry too much about the food. Fresh start tomorrow.
I'm just under 1300, I may have a little chocolate as still peckish. Grrr, it's hard

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/02/2021 20:11

1300 is low not. Have a bit so no over hungry binge
Rest up happier. Self care is good too.
Don't frett it gen. As the other say Thursday is your focus and the few weeks after

Not2bObvious · 01/02/2021 20:43

1477, kitchen closed. Checking happy scales, I maintained for the month of January, much better than gained. So that's my practise month done, gotta try be positive.

1.5 bloating off this morning.
Today will be a danger day as I didn't sleep well

Not2bObvious · 02/02/2021 07:10

If you haven't already, start the day with decent protein - a fair amount. Get a good chunk of calories in, don't skimp to save for junk.

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 02/02/2021 09:55

Done 1lb today
Got up and did 40 mins step and 30 min jog, nearly at 9,000. Poached egg & avo on toast, now chained to the desk for a bit

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/02/2021 10:26

I've had a double shake and a fibreone for after aerobic. 8k steps so far

Happierwithouthim · 02/02/2021 10:26

Bacon & Egg McMuffin here, made with Aldi wheat muffins Smile

Awake on and off all night due to late nap Hmm

Lost some bloat too, dc complained of air quality yesterday I told them it was because I ate Chinese at weekend & it's not good for my tummy.

Prepped last night for chicken egg fried rice today, lots of veggies, discovered I'm out of petit pois.

Happierwithouthim · 02/02/2021 10:27

Not it's stress induced but I'm minding myself

Life what a great start to the days steps

Not2bObvious · 02/02/2021 12:01

The double shake be a great lining.
Haha on the air quality happier, I'm a disaster no matter what I eat. Still not quite hit 9,000 due to work. Not sure what to eat for lunch, going to try hold off for an hour

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/02/2021 17:21

I'm on 1654 and the stress tired is starting to kick in. I want junk
Will get 10k steps today

Mrsmadevans · 02/02/2021 19:14

MIA yesterday because it was my Mum's birthday 89th today so l have been mega busy sorting everything out for her & also heard of the sad death of my second cousin, we shared great grandparents and family , he also went to school with me we are the same age so he was in my year. He was a lovely man , only 59 and very fit and healthy, non smoker, did martial arts didn't drink not overweight , my mind is boggling it should never have happened however this virus doesn't spare anyone does it. For it to take Capt Tom as well just seems like the bitterest pill to swallow at the moment.
As for food well meh meh meh, the cake l had done for Mum was simply yummy and l have eaten quite a lot Grin so....... tomorrow is another day !
Hope you are feeling much better Happier Flowers
Hope everyone is doing ok Smile
Gen good luck with the transfer Smile & l hope your Fil is better soon Flowers

Happierwithouthim · 02/02/2021 19:49

Happy birthday to your dm, and sorry to hear of another loss in your family

Chicken fried rice for dinner

Good news from solicitor today so hopefully house purchase can proceed soon

Frugaleers- Weightloss Chat - last of 2020
lifelongfrugaleer · 02/02/2021 20:00

That's looks nice happier.
400 over today. Hit the cookies. Could be worst but I'm resisting

Not2bObvious · 02/02/2021 20:09

Looks delicious happier, hope the house purchase can happen soon - fingers crossed.
Sorry to hear of more loss mrs, 59 is no age these days.
Got my 15,000, just over 1400 - might have a little more. Have eaten lots of snacky things though, maybe a bit of toast or a crumpet would be better than more chocolate.

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 02/02/2021 21:00

Thank you both Smile , glad you have good news Happier your mea looks delicious! Smile
Honestly life seems to be full of woe these days .
l think you are doing really well Not well done
Life my Ma's cake was God knows how many calories, let alone 400 over, you just keep going with the damage limitation well done !

Gensola · 02/02/2021 21:43

Steps 15,942. Yoga class was fun but I couldn’t do the half of it, the teacher is a contortionist, I’m sure!
Food generally good but had a piggy vegan nut and chocolate pudding thing. Monday and Tuesday are both super heavy teaching days for me so I always feel depleted on Tues eve. Tomorrow is better.
Only two sleeps to transfer! The pessaries are a real pain, they actually create this chalky stuff that sometimes seeps through my pants onto my clothes. So annoying and gross. I’ll have to keep taking them until 12 weeks pregnant if the transfer works too.

lifelongfrugaleer · 03/02/2021 07:06

It's a joy being a woman isn't it. Hope it's all worth it.

I'm in awe of your 1400 not. Still following ww?

Going for a SD walk today so will get nearer 15k today.

Mrsmadevans · 03/02/2021 08:17

ememem84 · 03/02/2021 08:36

keep falling off the thread...

down to 76.7kg this morning which i'm happy about. need to keep under 77kg for a while now.

going for a run at lunchtime i think - i have been meaning to go every day this week (in the morning before work) but dh has "sabotaged" this by not getting up in time for me to run get back shower and be logged in by 9. so i'm switching it up and am going at lunch.

then pilates tonight.

we've started eating our main meal at lunchtime which i think is helping me a bit.
