Mrsmadevans · 30/11/2020 08:15

Morning everyone 😀
I had 2 pears and an apple after my meal and couldn't wait to get to bed last night too Not
🥱
Life try not to worry about the 10 lbs l think concentrate on how much better you feel from taking care of yourself ❤️
Am off to Cardiff. Costco and Tesco and Asda maybe IKEA .
Probably not frugal but definitely fun and will keep me busy so off the food ☺️
Have a lovely day everyone 😀

Happierwithouthim · 30/11/2020 08:41

Can I sneak back in?

Weekend was an absolute write off

lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2020 09:09

Course you can happier.

In trying to have a big push to Christmas to mitigate the cheese and chocolate

Mrsmadevans · 30/11/2020 09:59

Course Happier the more the merrier 😀

Not2bObvious · 30/11/2020 10:39

Nice to have you back happier, I think we can all agree that was a challenging weekend.
Taking a break from work for 15, absolutely rotten sleep despite being exhausted last night. Got up at 5.45 and did my hour on the treadmill so that's something positive. Wasn't easy though, but it never is. Getting better at jogging, can manage 5-6 minutes without walking. Got my 9,000 in the hour so that's a box ticked. Having an office day today so lunch with me. Had egg on toast with avocado at 7.30, only a little tummy grumble so far. Lunch at 12.30 maybe

My Garmin screen has gone dodge. Asked advice on chat and they are exchange for me. Will be step less for a bit. Managed 7k+ today with a couple of walks.

Decent food but untracked

Not2bObvious · 30/11/2020 18:43

That's good life, at least you don't have to buy a new one. I don't think I could be without my Fitbit at this stage. Speaking of which, got over 20,000 steps today. Around 400 cals left for the day, redeeming myself after my messy behaviour at the weekend.

Scales just rose and rose this week from 175lbs on Thursday am up to 178.75 this morning don't know what's going on.

I had planned to eat goodies with dc on Friday night and I did, one of those Aldi reindeer was 548 calories of deliciousness but I didn't stop at that! Had a chicken kebab, most of a small selection box and keoghs crisps which were thorough enjoyed.

Today
Bacon medallions in a roll for breakfast
Porridge in chocolate spread jar at 10am
Chicken salad sandwich on granary bread with a pear for lunch
Dinner will be hot smoked salmon flakes, prawns, fresh pasta, micro veg, last of the cream so basically a big bowl of comfort

Good work on getting exchange on your garmin, I couldn't be without Fitbit either

Not2bObvious · 30/11/2020 19:28

Monday is always a bugger for the scales happier, I wouldn't pay too much heed. I didn't bother putting all my food for yesterday, no weigh today either

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 30/11/2020 19:58

That's a fair amount of steps not,

Weekend bloat happier. Give it a few days

Not2bObvious · 30/11/2020 20:48

Tis, gives me a head start on a week I'm chained to the desk so I'm pleased.
Left 240 cals behind, I could eat but I won't. Gone to bed

Evening everyone Smile
Had a really busy day today as per you might say but this was extra busy. I am so tired my cheeks are scalding hot and scarlett! They always go like that when l am tired Smile
Made a chilli yesterday , it's been in the slow cooker since this mornng and had 4 popadoms with it , tasted lovely just the job!
Well done everyone on the steps great work especially in this dire weather ! Smile

Not2bObvious · 01/12/2020 00:33

Lesson learned, too many steps, not enough calories = me unable to sleep until buttery toast (& 1 choccie biccie) inhaled. According to my Fitbit I'd burned over 2700😱 I think I can afford the toast (x2 with biccie....)
Pls let me sleep now!!!!

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/12/2020 06:31

Deserved toast IMO

Some bloat off this morning. Steps [shrug]

Mrsmadevans · 01/12/2020 07:00

Morning everyone 😀
You definitely deserved the toast & bikkie Not 😃
Keep going life you can do it 💐
Off to MumBobs ltr treat tonight Pizza 😀

Not2bObvious · 01/12/2020 13:20

Thanks all, I reckon I got about 4.5 hours sleep but I don't feel too bad. Got up and did 40 mins on the treadmill (4500), just walking but it's something. On just over 7,500 after getting a quick walk to the shops. It's going to be a few walks to get the steps done.
Sounds like you really pushed yourself yesterday mrs, remember to mind yourself too, own life mask first! I'm being selfish this week, quite stressed and I have to put my family/me first instead of elderly parent/other family. Just need some space

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/12/2020 13:23

Self care first, always

Not2bObvious · 01/12/2020 17:50

Absolutely wrecked now, did some good child deeds but possibly regretting it as got stressed & upset by COVID talk (or as the Irish call it "The Covid") and had to leave in a bit of a cross way. Even in my 40's I can still act like a big baby😩

OP posts:
lifelongfrugaleer · 01/12/2020 20:50

On calories there about.
Did lots of walk and posted watch back

Mrsmadevans · 02/12/2020 08:40

Morning everyone 😀
Have a lot going on ATM with MumBobs nothing re their health though and it Will be sorted asap. Very stressful though and l nearly caved yesterday but l didn't yay!👏👏
Have a great day everyone, it's a busy day for me again, OT coming to assess Mum for a wheelchair so fingers crossed that goes well 😀👏

Not2bObvious · 02/12/2020 11:13

You're a rock mrs, I ended up having some wine last night as a result of my stressiness- which was accompanied by rather too many crisps but I managed to stick to my calories so all wasn't lost.
Up for my treadmill trot this morning, got my 9,000 in 62 mins, v pleased. Chained to desk again but might get a walk at lunchtime, no lunch with me so I'll need to go buy something 🤔

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 02/12/2020 14:48

Had an absolutely delicious yellow sticker sambo from M&S, not reduced a lot but every little helps! Turkey, bacon, stuffing & cranberry - Christmas between 2 slices of bread. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Nearly bought a bag of crisps too but was too mean 😂 Saved my € and my cals

Happierwithouthim · 02/12/2020 17:06

Sounds delicious not

Grin at "The Covid", bf calls it the Virus and when he was on PUP called it the virus money Grin

I attempted to join a womens only gym to do a 28 day challenge thing but need to commit to 3 workouts a week there and they're only open Mon to Fri so doesn't look like it'll be possible for me, if they had Sat/Sun I'd manage it. €129 which is steep but I guess it'd make me commit, there's a nutrition coach etc included in that. I could definitely do Mon & Wed and every second weekend, and I'd rope in bf to take dc or someone the other weekends just for sake of 1 month. Its weights oriented as far as I can see.

I'd be interested post moving I think

Not2bObvious · 02/12/2020 17:35

That is steep happier, do you think the nutrition side of things would be helpful? I know we all got a bit over RH but to be fair, I'm pretty confident in my nutrition knowledge after the experience. I couldn't do a "diet" again, iykwim. I've been tempted to join a gym near me, but just for something to do, sooooo bored these days.
I think "The COVID" might be a Dublin thing, I wish it'd f'off!!!
