Last night dc stayed at their dads as they're off school today and he's taking care of them. This is a first since he moved out other than holidays they never stay there mid week.

Found the morning very strange, stayed in bed until 6.30, had my breakfast in peace, played my audio book to fill the silence Smile

Sts this morning
PT session was good, I like the place, not so keen on my trainer. And the finisher was the bike, I bloody hate the bike.

Afterwards I had steak, brocolli, onions and actifry chips with pepper sauce. I halved the steak because 350g looked massive altogether. Then I walked dog while the hot water was heating up and had a bath with epsom salts and off to bed, there was nothing on tv so other than a few minutes of Coronation St while eating my dinner I didn't bother with it.

That narcissist on it, Yasmeen's husband reminded me of my ex, the absolute absurdity of expecting she would still come home with him after spending 4 months in prison accused of his murder is like something my ex would do ShockHmm

mrsmadevans that's fantastic news, well done you and in just 10 months also! Hopefully it has made a huge difference to your test results as well, which is the most important thing.

not I like your idea of banning Monday weigh ins unfortunately Tues told the same story for me Grin

ememem84 · 08/12/2020 11:13

hopping back on.

let things slide for a while but am back on the weight loss train now.

as previously i want to maintain my size 10 and not increase to a 12. nothing wrong with being a 12, except i have no size 12 clothes!

so need to sort myself out. eat less, eat better, stay fuller, move more. this is more difficult now as am working from home for the foreseeable. but am determined to introduce exercise into my wfh lifestyle. even in the winter. i did so well in the summertime. but now its cold and dark in the mornings, i just cba.

however. this morning, i went for a run. am currently at 4162 steps. dh has the car today and we need milk and bread for soup for dinner, so will walk the long way to the shop in a bit and should get another couple of thousand steps in.

not stepping on the scales yet. too scared. will do it tomorrow morning maybe.

tomorrow will probably try and get a work out in before work - my trainer at the gym sent me the programmes we'd been doing before we effectively locked down on Friday which was lucky. and pilates via zoom in the evening. same again on Thursday although might try and get a big walk in as am off on thursday.

Happierwithouthim · 08/12/2020 12:05

Welcome back em
I go between 10 & 12, on occasion I'll be a size 8 on top. I don't want to be a size 14, I'm too short!

Not2bObvious · 08/12/2020 14:48

Nice to have you back em, like you both I don't want to go back to bigger sizes. I have bought 2 pairs of trousers in a 12 recently because there was no give and I'd have looked like a burst couch in them! I'm short too so the gutty/muffin look is where my body tends to go when I gain.
Nearly at 9,000 - don't think this is going to be a 15,000 a day week but that's ok, I need to get my house in order for Christmas and that's my focus. If I manage 9-12,000 a day and stick to 1700 for most of the week I'll maintain. No big loss plans this month, well any month clearly😂

I'm at 7678. i got a walk in at lunchtime, and have been making sure i get up and walk about every now and then.

will pop out later as have had a parcel delivered for another house on the estate. same number slightly different address. will walk it round and hand it over !

Happierwithouthim · 08/12/2020 15:55

My steps were disastrous last week 30k I only went for one short walk in the entire week.

This week has started better. PT session last night followed by a 1 mile walk on jelly legs Grin

Not2bObvious · 08/12/2020 16:56

Were you achy this morning happier? Hate the bike too, I have an exercise bike and I find it tedious so it gets feck all use.
11,700 - getting there

OP posts:
Happierwithouthim · 08/12/2020 17:26

I used epsom salts in the bath last night so that was a massive help, from 12pm today though I can feel it.

ememem84 · 08/12/2020 17:33

8809 steps. Had loads of calls after my last post which meant I was in front of the screen. Sigh if they’d been on the phone I could have walked around while on them.

lifelongfrugaleer · 08/12/2020 18:05

3900 steps. Didn't get my morning class in and it's been a stress eating day Inc chocolate

Welcome back em. I want to get back to my 8 bottom minus muffin

Not2bObvious · 08/12/2020 19:59

Bit of unplanned decoration shopping has me on nearly 14,000 but I'm starving now and no calories left☹️

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 08/12/2020 21:11

Andddd that's me over by 150 on crackers and toppings. Could have been worse, at least I've got my steps. Banished myself to bed, teeth brushed, hopefully be asleep by 10.30, up at 5.45 for an hours treadmill

OP posts:
ememem84 · 09/12/2020 09:13

ok. so i stepped on the scaled. 77.4kg. this is not where i want to be. goal by the end of the year to be consistently at or below 75kg which i think it achievable.

been for a walk this morning already so am 4918 steps up.

had dippy eggs for breakfast. will have soup for lunch and will pack in as much fruit and veg as i can!

Not2bObvious · 09/12/2020 09:17

Over 14,000 already between a bit over an hour on the treadmill and an early morning shop. Still more to go, in a sweat already

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/12/2020 10:31

I'm a dope, I was looking at yesterday's steps not today's 😂 On a bit over 13,500 though so not that far from the truth.
Stepped on the scales and was 162, so .6 up on last weigh in but I'm fairly confident that's pure carb bloat after cracker'gate yesterday.

OP posts:
ememem84 · 09/12/2020 10:47

How??? How are you on 13500 already?! that's insane!

good work though!

Mrsmadevans · 09/12/2020 11:49

Missed yesterday posting very busy and knackered 🤗
Am fine 😊
2 weeks till Christmas 🎄 yay!
Everyone seems to be packing the steps in well done 😊👍✅👌👏👏
Off shopping now
Pizza for tea 😊👍
Have a lovely day everyone 😀

Not2bObvious · 09/12/2020 11:52

Nearly 70 mins interval jogging on the treadmill got me the first 10,000 and then a walk back/forth through the local shopping centre, and trip to supermarket. I'm shocked myself!

wowee. that's good going. i wouldn't be able to do 7 minutes on the treadmill let alone 70.

i have the day off tomorrow and the cleaners are coming in during the afternoon. i'm planning a walk so i'm out of their way (must maintain 2 m distancing from them). figured that a walk would do me good. may walk to the local reservoir. or might walk down to the beach for a coffee. although that would mean walking up a hill on the way back. (and thinking about it the cafes are closed as all licenced venues are closed here for the foreseeable because covid).

lifelongfrugaleer · 09/12/2020 14:28

I'm developing a bad lunchtime toast habbit. Blooming cold weather

Not2bObvious · 09/12/2020 15:05

Believe me it's rarely more than 3-4 mins jogging, then a min brisk walk. Feeling it now though.
Toast is amazing, had some crackers even though I wanted toast☹️

OP posts:
Not2bObvious · 09/12/2020 18:59

Over by 140 at least, probably closer to 200 - here's the problem being up so early, too much day to get hungry. I need to close the kitchen

OP posts:
Mrsmadevans · 09/12/2020 20:03

Em that walk sounds lovely 😃
Not you are doing so well 👏☺️
Life toast the perfect comfort food ☺️😋😋

Mrsmadevans · 09/12/2020 20:05

Happier l am loving the sound of the Epsom salt bath 🛀🛁🛁🛀😊👏

ememem84 · 09/12/2020 21:21

Ended the day on just under 7000 steps.

Which is a bit pitiful. But is it good for a wfh day?

I’ve just done my online Pilates though. Was a bit wierd doing it in the living room. Dh was working on his laptop. And catface wanted to sit on me. Sigh. Roll on classes being allowed again.

Still. Tomorrow. Walking. Lots of it.
