Morning! ☺️

Whoops @TantricTwist. Today is a brand new day, honey!

That's brilliant @Familyband! A real milestone. Keep going and you'll soon be at your goal.

Did the Next bikinis work @DottieLottie1? I always struggle with bikini buying too.

Off for the w/e this morning so no idea what I'll be eating. Will post in review later!

So enjoyed packing for this trip knowing I look good in all the clothes I packed... unlike this time last year when I did this trip and felt unhappy in everything.

Have a fab day all!

Morning all!

Good work @Familyband, it does come in fits and starts sometimes.

@TantricTwist, we all slip up sometimes, I know I have a couple of times. Just start afresh and you'll be fine 😉

@Seer, I have narrowed the search down to 2 bikinis and now deliberating between them! Think I'll ask DD to choose otherwise it will be IP DIP! Enjoy your weekend away, anywhere interesting????

Just weighed in and I've maintained this week. I'm fine with this as i know I'm being to look skinny rather than slim. The but is.... I'd like to lose maybe 1 more pound purely to give me some leeway to really enjoy the AI on my holiday! 😬😂 What will be will be.

B- cuppa
L- fast (cant have lunch on a Friday anyway as I work through lunchtime)
D- Chilli con carne and rice in tacos
S- 🥂🍾

Will be around 1400 calories today.

Enjoy your Friday everyone 😊

TantricTwist · 31/01/2020 16:50

Mind you even with the Oreos yesterday Calories were 1093

Work all day, steps 4406. I'll weigh tomorrow as easier as day off.

B - yoghurt
L - tomato soup finn crisp
Snack - banana, pack of Doritos ( I'm going rogue Confused)
D - not sure as going to theatre.

DottieLottie1 · 31/01/2020 20:05

Maybe not the best way to do it @TantricTwist but still if calories that low so what?! Hope they were gooooooood.......

I stepped on the scales again after work (I've actually done this for the last 2 weeks) and I've actually lost 1 lb.

9st 3lb now.

I've ordered my bikini and gone for my DDs choice, a floral on white background from next. Hopefully the top will fit 😬 I've seriously lost my boobage, but too be fair I've never been particularly bothered by them- I'm naturally small chested, its not my body part so to speak 😂 I'm legs and bum! 😳 I was 36D but now 36A 😯

Wish I looked liked Cameron Diaz too.........

DottieLottie1 · 31/01/2020 20:36

What did you watch at the theatre @TantricTwist?

TantricTwist · 01/02/2020 09:52

Well the great thing about bikinis is that they tend to be quite forgiving @DottieLottie1 so fingers crossed it fits well.

It would be a bit outing if I said as it's a local play. It was really good though and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I got home and ate some Haagen Daz Strawberry cheesecake ice cream Confused

I've lost 2.5 Kg / 1lb, which is at least a loss and I'll be falling down into the lower Stone bracket if I lose another lb next week.. I was hoping it would be a bit more as I'm eating so little during the day. I guess my rogue ways defo make a difference even if all my calories are under 1200 although they most likely weren't yesterday. I'm not even going to count them Hmm.
Less carbs next week so I'll cut out the ramen noodles and stick to protein and veg for main meals.

TantricTwist · 01/02/2020 10:36

I just looked up the Next bikini's and they look lovely esp yours. I didnt realise they came in normal bra sizes Blush The last time I bought a bikini was just a triangle one you get, probably from Topshop at the time when I was normal slim and normal boob size pre kids and didnt think twice about what to buy.

TantricTwist · 01/02/2020 18:05

I made the pork wontons. They were fun to make and tasted delicious. Next time I'll add loads more chinese leaf to lighten them up a bit. The recipes are all quite similar though. I've put the rest in the freezer. The wrappers I used weren't great (they were for spring rolls and wontons that you probably fry not boil) so i'll go to a chinese supermarket and get ones that hopefully wont instantly fall apart in hot water. I've still got some filling left over so I'll freeze that too actually for another time. I made about 40 of them.

DottieLottie1 · 01/02/2020 19:32

Ooooo @TantricTwist, your wonton experiments sound 😋 even if you haven't quite got the end result yet!

Picking up my bikini tomorrow, x fingers the top fits, I've got time for an exchange if not but I like to be organized!

The poppy dress has been ordered and I've also got a new denim jacket on route!

TantricTwist · 01/02/2020 21:03

Such fun @DottieLottie1 buying all these lovely summer clothes that you're going to look fabulous in. I feel inspired. I'm already enjoying losing lbs weeks by week. I'll have a shock the weeks when I plateau.

Yes I think I might just skip wrapping them all together and just create normal dumplings, less Pfaff, and less carbs, and just plop them straight into the broth with cabbage. It's such a lovely light filling meal.

DottieLottie1 · 02/02/2020 09:58

Morning!

My plans for today have changed since my DSs sports fixture has been called off due to waterlogged surface! At least I get a bit of a lay in and keep warm and dry 😜.

I need to get to the shops to pick up some odds and sods and a couple of parcels. This afternoon my DD is wall climbing (you know the one @Seer) so she will need dropping off and picking up. Dog walk at some point. Then holiday admin (not really a chore!!!!).

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L- fast
D- homemade pizza, home made garlic bread (that reminds me, I need flour and yeast for the bases!)

Any interesting or not so interesting plans?

Have a good Sunday everyone 😊

TantricTwist · 02/02/2020 11:25

I'm off into town as well @DottieLottie1 to drop off DD and also to pick up some items

So at least that will add on some Steps

B - fast
L - mmmm really fancy a Big Mac Grin but I can't because I have an event end of next week so am sticking to protein and veg for now as will be having a slap up fancy meal
D - chicken and heaps of veg

DottieLottie1 · 02/02/2020 17:53

Picked up my bikini and it fits a treat. The cups on the top are nicely padded so my not so ample boobs at least look half decent 😂

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 02/02/2020 18:25

Oh my goodness. I've been doing C25K and managed to run for 20 minutes non-stop! Not sure if it will help with my weight loss but it's got to help my fitness. Plus a 5K dog walk this afternoon. 16,000 steps today.

DottieLottie1 · 02/02/2020 18:36

Go you @MyGhastIsFlabbered, it will make a difference! I think (?) weight loss is down to something like 20% exercise 80 % food intake. May have made that up though but sure I've seen it somewhere 😳😂. Besides exercise is good for mindfulness too!

Seer · 02/02/2020 18:42

Hey all! Sorry for disappearing yesterday, it's been a v busy but lovely weekend.

I've eaten SO much amazing food - I have really enjoyed it all and don't feel guilty about it. I feel pretty bloated now tho! I'll be back on lighter eating for the next couple of days.

Today's food was:

B: two slices of olive ciabatta with hummus
L: a miso mushroom poke bowl and an amazing vegan chocolate mousse from M&S that I ate on the train journey home
D: small portion of tomato pasta with two slices of wholemeal bread
S: 2 glasses of wine

(Yesterday I ate even more!)

Brilliant news on the bikini @DottieLottie1 ! That's the holy grail! 🙏 I keep wondering if you know one of my DRs that lives near you and I'm going to try to ask without totally outing myself. Do you know someone called Tania J? I know the town isn't that small so you probably don't but it'll set my mind at rest so I don't keep wondering if you do 😀

Congrats on the loss again @TantricTwist ! 🌟 and I love hearing about your dumplings experiments! 😀

Have a lovely rest of your Sunday. ☺️

Sounds like you've had a great time @Seer! I need to take a page out of your book and stop feeling guilty about what I eat when I'm away 😬 . I do mo a Tania but not with a J.... There must be someone we both know, I've got strong links with the town sandwiched between us 😉

TantricTwist · 02/02/2020 22:28

@MyGhastIsFlabbered it just feels good to exercise and will always tone you up. I just wish I would do more if it myself

@DottieLottie1 thank god it fits and is one more thing ticked off your holiday to do list

@Seer bet that feels good just eating whatever you want when you want within reason

DottieLottie1 · 03/02/2020 08:14

Morning😊

Non working day today. Once the DC are off to school I'm taking the dog out for a long walk. Will then walk up to our local post office to pick up more parcels. I wasn't going to spend more money on clothes 🤷🏼‍♀️. I have visitors this afternoon so wong have my shake this morning as likely to end up at the independent coffee shop down the road. I need to get the food shop done too.

I'm also pondering if I should pay to reserve seats on the plane to ensure we sit together. We can choose for free on check-in but I'm a bit concerned. Flying with BA, anyone any experience of this? Should I hold my nerve rather than shell out another £300 😬

B- fast
L- possibly a coconut milk based hot chocolate
D- pesto pasta, Italian meats and cheese

Around 1000 calories.

Enjoy your Monday everyone 😊

Seer · 03/02/2020 09:52

Morning beauties! 😍

I bet we do too, @DottieLottie1! One of my oldest friends lived there so I spent a chunk of my late teens in that pub on the main road!

We usually pay to reserve seats but then my DCs are younger than yours. I think I probably would still reserve them if I was you, given you're flying long haul.

Getting back to my usual routine today. Work is crazy busy - things are suddenly taking off, which is wonderful but is taking some adjusting to!

I ran out of time to do kettlebells this morning but will try to fit them in later if I can. Will also walk the dogs after the school run.

B: fast
L: dumplings, veg and miso
D: black bean and roast veg tacos

Have a gorgeous day all! ☺️

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 03/02/2020 10:35

Good for you on the work front @Seer, a challenge but i can tell from your positivity it will be worth it!

The good old W L I'm assuming?! Rather than T G? Yes, I have spent some time I those establishments myself 😳 it's ok I've neither got a reputation or been barred ..... I didnt actually grow up in the town I live near (think the old part 😉) but in a town about 15 miles south. I have family that moved to the town we are talking about above many years ago so I've always travelled back and forth.

TantricTwist · 03/02/2020 17:26

£300 to reserve seats, blimey that's a lot @DottieLottie1. I would always book seats on something like an easyjet flight as they get cancelled all the time so it sort of guarantees you maybe a seat on the next plane out. BA are likely to seat you together if the DC are young.

I'm flying with TUI again this year and I've booked seats again. I think it's best to book seats in case they overbook so you dont get bumped off in favour of someone who has booked seats. It happens although not so much with BA I'd presume. Just make sure you confirm seat online etc before you leave

Exciting that things are taking off for you @Seer it's quite brave yet scary to jump into the deep end. I hope the rewards are plentiful.

I worked all day and felt really hungry this morning.

B - yoghurt, tea, coffee
S - banana and tracker bar
L - soup and finn crisp
S - a couple of squares of galaxy choc, tea, cold roasted carrots Confused
D - 🤷‍♀️ maybe lasagne and salad.

DottieLottie1 · 03/02/2020 18:12

@TantricTwist, yes its expensive! Obviously we have seats booked but not specific ones ie. Select your seat and would prefer to be sat together however my children are now(young) teens..... I hope they wouldn't bump us off! I normally do pay to select but TUI only charged us as a family £80..... When I booked this holiday there was no option to book select your seats but the option has now appeared on my booking. I think I will keep an eye on how many seats are available and go from there!

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 03/02/2020 19:37

I can't get to weigh in today, it's DS1's birthday on Wednesday and he's in a show in London tomorrow so I'm cake baking tonight.
