Worked today and again tomorrow unless Storm Ciara proves too strong to contend with, am about to drop off to sleep

B - Banana
L - Chicken soup and 5 finn crisp
D - Chicken salad (the chicken was a Waitrose rotisserie chicken which was delicious and juicy)
S - Apple

Yesterday at my fancy lunch I had scallops, steak, apple tart with ice cream and calvados flambe, champagne and wine. I didn't have any breakfast or dinner so maybe it all balanced itself out.

Oh, your posh dinner @TantricTwist sounds like it was lovely- apart from the scallops, I dont eat anything sea born as I have a shellfish allergy so avoid anything fish, seafood etc. I don't like it either so don't feel I'm missing out.

Busy day packing. Hoping storm Ciara and its aftermath won't effect our flight. Only managed a (very) short dog walk due to weather conditions, trees down and branches hanging everywhere.

Double fast b&L as D was homemade pepperoni pizza.

I'm hoping to finish packing tomorrow. I've also got various appointments for me and the DC over the next few days. I will be beach ready 😂

I hope Ciara didnt scupper your plans for the day everyone. Stay safe!

Morning all.

Bad nights sleep, I'm not sure why but I haven't been sleeping well in recent weeks. I don't think it's to do with my poorly DR but could be subconsciously 🤷🏼‍♀️.

Once the DC are off to school I'll take the dog for a longish walk. Then I've got a nail appointment (I 9nly have them done when I go away) and an eyebrow appointment. I'm also taking DD and DS to hairdresser and the barbers afterschool. I've got a pile of ironing to get through today aswel. Busy day so keeps my mind off calories!

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L- fast
D- Pasta in a pancetta and tomato sauce, breadsticks and Italian meats
S- if my sweet tooth kicks in I might have some sugar-free liquorice

I'm still here but haven't been to SW for a couple of weeks as I'm beyond skint. Still, if I can't afford to eat I guess I'll lose weight. I tried weighing in at home but my scales are way out...I was over 1/2 a stone lighter than at SW and I haven't been that good.

Another busy day with more beauty appointments 😳. Managed a fairly long walk with the dog. This evening I've got the usual taxi service for both DC.

D- Roast chicken in pitta with salad and lighter than light mayo. Olives

That's sub 900 calories. I'll be having way, way more than that whilst I'm away- just trying to start at the lowest possible weight 😬.

My scales are ridiculous @MyGhastIsFlabbered though I live in a really old house so the wonky floor might be to blame. I now weigh myself in the bath (empty!) and try it in about 5 different places and take the lowest number. It's like I've got some weird superstition but it's the only way I can get numbers that only range by 2lb, vs 4lb elsewhere in the bathroom!

If you're weighing at home in the morning vs the evening at SW that can make a massive difference too.

You must be looking super glam @DottieLottie1 !

Busy day today and v hungry (still haven't come on!)

B: hummus on olive ciabatta
L: tahini pasta and salad
D: vegetable stirfry, tofu and jasmine rice

Hi everyone

So not too bad today so far

B - apple, coffee
L - humous, chicken and lettuce wrap
D - broth with chinese leaves followd by a handful of crunchy nut cornflakes
S - might have some lasagne

On Monday I went into some kind of feeding frenzy during work. I stopped off at 10am ish and bought some hummous and a baguette half of which I scoffed down in the car - I was ravenous - I finished the rest of the baguette when I got home later.

Yesterday I had a couple of chicken, lettuce and houmous wraps.

I did end up having half a Tesco finest lasagne, which was very yummy.

I was having one of those exhausting menstrual days where I couldn't stop snacking but I think I needed it. I won't even bother to try to summarise what I ate.

I'm feeling much more myself today and despite still being bloated and eating so much yesterday I'm at my lowest weight 😮 Only 2oz down so nothing major but I still didn't expect it.

It's funny how this size now feels normal to me, it's hard to remember myself 2 stone heavier!

Work, school run, appt with a financial advisor and then takeaway and wine - yippee!

B: fast
L: Buddha bowl (planning to make sushi/poke bowls next week when I have the right stuff)
D: Chinese or Indian takeaway and wine

What has become clear is that this is a healthy weight for me and easy to maintain and it just happens to be at the very top of the 10st range. So keeping within the top half of the ten stone range feels like my happy zone going forward.

I'll only consider more focused action if I tip over into the 11st range (eg after a holiday) or drop into the bottom half of the 10st range (unlikely!)

Oh god I had another feeding frenzy yesterday of a large bag of frazzle type crisps in the car.

Today I just had an apple till I got home.

I popped into a newish large Aldi and meandered around those wierd middle aisles, nearly bought a load of things I didnt actually need saw sense and put them back.

But I did buy a bottle of their Cremant de Jura to try which people rave about, kind of. And bought lots of baked goods for the kids to have.

Why do you think the feeding frenzy happens @TantricTwist ? That you're hungry and don't have access to proper food or is it emotional?

Sounds like you were back on track yesterday anyway 🙏

Our Indian takeaway took 2.5 hours to come and then the samosas were meat instead of veg which meant they were thrown away 😏 I ate absolutely tonnes of my biriyani (ie ALL of it which I wouldn't normally!) I had as I'd eaten so little until then. Overall I don't think I would have eaten more than usual in a day, just in a meal!

Dh and DS are off to watch football today so I'm taking DD to a party (in the town next to you Dottie) and then will go to the cinema and/or a meal with her later.

D: no idea yet but maybe dinner out.

I'm not sure @Seer maybe I hadn't eaten enough the night before. Both those times I was just ravenous and had no control whatsoever, at no point could I stop myself. I could definitely feel my waistband feeling tighter the next day and I havent dared weigh myself.

B - Fast
L - an aldi pain au raisin type pastry
D - not sure but I have more time to think and prepare probably a chicken salad as I bought another rotiserrie chicken from waitrose the other day and have some left.

Ok so I just had a chicken salad 🥗and am now drinking coffee ☕️.

My DC are both away for most of half term which means I dont have to worry about their food so maybe I can concentrate more on preparing what I want and need 🍱.

I need a proper plan @Seer a plan of food to eat once I get home 👩‍🍳

So I used my IPL again and this time even after 3 weeks (should have been 2) I didnt even have to shave before using it as no hair had grown back. This is brilliant news and means I can swim to my hearts content this summer yay 🌤🏊‍♀️🌊🏖 or any time I like

Not been on your thread before but your title caught my eye.

Am sitting at just over 10 stone at the mo and know I want to loose a good couple of stone. I comfort eat a great deal.

I was thinking this morning of buying a pair of jeans in my desired size, taking a photo to show how much I can't get into it, and then use said jeans over time to demonstrate my own progress to myself when (hopefully) little by little, I'll be able to fit into them a little more.

Anyone else done that?

Sounds random but when I saw the thread title, I thought this is the place to ask...

Hi ouch321 not sure that's quite the way to do it. 10 stone is low anyway what size clothes are you and how tall. We tend to count calories and weigh ourselves and lose weight slowly that way and post daily what we eat to try and keep ourselves on track.

All I've had today so far is 2 fried eggs on sourdough toast. Last night I just had a noodle ramen bowl with Chinese greens. Quite fancy going to the pub later for a roast but do t really want to go out in all this rain bleugh

Hello everyon! Sunning myself next to a beautiful infinity pool with views towards the Caribbean 😊 Miami vice by myside 😍.

Enjoying myself but I've had a proper dodgy tummy 😬. I'm eating more than I do at home but Im definitely not over eating, might be over drinking though! Breakfast I'm having cornflakes with almond milk and a couple or 3 shortcake biscuits with my cuppa. Lunch might be a single (small) slice of pizza at most and then a normal dinner. I'll blame it on the spices!

@TantricTwist the lighter than light mayo is lovely and worth it at 9 calories per tablespoon in comparison to the real deal.

@ouch321 I'm assuming your relatively short? No, I wouldn't do it that way. Track what your consuming and allow yourself some treats along the way and you'll soon be the size you wanna be. I lost 4 st 1 lb in 8 months. I'm currently on holiday in a size 8 bikini as opposed to last years tight size 14!

Hey @DottieLottie1 I'll bet you feel amazing in your bikini must be so nice to just enjoy basking in the pool and sunshine with not a care in the world.

Take some immodium if you can (any brand will do) that's what I'd be doing. No ice, no water unless its from a bottle, no salad thats been washed in water.
