Well done on the weight front @Seer, yes the supermarket run is beyond weird. The social distancing is great outside but although calm and well stocked people are completely forgetting inside and shopping as usual. You know, leaning over others to grab something 🙄. I definitely wont be going back in a hurry. At least it means we are careful with consuming what we have in. If I need things like milk/eggs/ bread I'll use the village shop which us about 100m from home. I do however have a fair bit of booze but I'll be sticking to my usual rules as I don't want to get on a slippery slope!

Having a cuppa and making sure DC have a saily school work action plan . Then I'll take the dog out for a long walk. Will tidy up the garden at some point this afternoon. I'm also going to attempt to clipper DSs hair, he normally has it cut every 4 weeks and it's now gone crazy! He cant really have it long as it's very thick and only grows upwards and outwards, not downward 😱

This evening I'll settle down and watch a movie or with a glass or 3 of Prosecco 😜

Officially been furloughed but DH still working. His life hasnt really changed in all this...

Stay home, stay strong, stay healthy, stay and stay safe everyone.

DottieLottie1 · 01/04/2020 09:34

On the calories front -

Endlesss cups of tea, probably some herbal too.

Double fast as weds= Prosecco night

Dinner- large portion of Tomato and mozzarella ravioli 😋

Berries and cherries if I have a sweet tooth.

DottieLottie1 · 01/04/2020 11:09

Sorry if that was insensitive, which wasn't intended if so!

Stay home if that's possible, stay safe

DottieLottie1 · 01/04/2020 14:52

Well DSs new crop was a lockdown disaster if I do say so myself 😱 I used to do it relatively decently when he was little but havent attempted it since he started secondary 3 years ago.... nevermind it'll look okish in a week or so 😳😂😂😂😂

Surprised he isn't more cross!

DottieLottie1 · 02/04/2020 11:41

I hit the self destruct button last night. I obviously didn't eat enough at dinner and I was still hungry add that to a few glasses of prosecco and hey presto I polish off a whole packet of choc digestives 😳. I've probably done something similar maybe twice in the entire diet process. I also did it I secrey🙄. Im feeling very full and very guilty this morning as that's not normal eating regardless. Will do better!

Didnt hey round to sorting the garden so will try and do that this afternoon after I'm back from dog walk (which I obviously use as my daily exercise). Other than that more movies.

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L- berries and cherries
D- spinach and ricotta tortellini
S- sugar free lemon sherbets

What lockdown plans have you all got?

I'll be out on my balcony at 8pm tonight, thanks to all NHS and beyond. 👏🏼

Seer · 02/04/2020 22:11

Evening!

Oh bless you @DottieLottie1 don't beat yourself up, you are sooo disciplined 99.9% of the time!

Haven't been up to much except working and dog walking. Dh is working from home all the time now but longer hours than ever.

Food today:

B: fast
L: left over bean chilli and rice (small portion)
D: spaghetti and v meatballs and garlicky green beans
S: satsuma and 2 spritzers

I'm due on but don't feel so bloated as usual, not sure if that's just because my tummy is flatter in general now. It's funny actually, just realised that I've finally got down to my lowest weight and haven't seen anyone apart from my dh and dcs since! 😀

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 03/04/2020 13:54

2lb gain this week. Other than my chocolate digestive misdemeanors I stick rigid. I wouldn't say I was less active as although my job is I've been out walking the dog on the days when I would have been working (DH and DC normally cover those days). I have far exceeded 10,000 steps everyday. I'm nearly 11 months in and I still can't make head nor tail of thos weight loss malarkey! Hoping for a better outcome for next week.

Enjoy the warmer weather as best you can everyone and stay safe.

Seer · 03/04/2020 18:28

Maybe just one of those random fluctuations @DottieLottie1 ? You must still be in a happy zone though right?

Busy morning at work and then took the afternoon off to do things with the children and walk the dogs.

About to order a Chinese and then chill out for the evening.

B: fast
L: Buddha bowl
D: Chinese takeaway and wine
S: 2 chocolates, small bowl of crisps (kicking back a bit for the weekend!)

Have a lovely evening! ☺️

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 03/04/2020 18:32

Must be @Seer, I'm still 9lbs below my origin al goal weight so cant really be unhappy.

Enjoy your Chinese! About to dog into homemade lasagne with spinach washed down with a sparkling french pink obviously not from the champagne region 😜

DottieLottie1 · 06/04/2020 19:57

Had to do the weekly shop as cant get a delivery slot for toffee. Not fun, yes I'd rather stay at home. I took the dog out in the afternoon but just a quick one (about half an hour). Ive still managed over 12000 steps as I've done loads of housework too. I've got to find jobs to do to keep me sane.

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L- fast
D- tomato and pepper pasta with goats cheese.
S- Blueberries and raspberries
Loads of cups of tea

DottieLottie1 · 08/04/2020 15:12

Managed 13000 steps yesterday made up of taking the dog for a walk over the countryside behind our road and jogging on the spot a d around the house. So keeping fit-ish!

Yesterdays menu was
B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
Ĺ- fast
D- peri peri Chicken breast wraps and salad
S- Blueberries and raspberries

Today I've been out across the fields with the dog and have reached 10, 000 steps so far. I've got a bit of housework to do then I'll sit I the garden for a bit. First time in shorts this year (other than holiday of course!). Missing my DM quite strongly today 😔

B- cuppa or 3
L- fast
D- Hunters Chicken with mountains of salad, DC will have wild rice aswell.
S- Prosecco 😊

Keep well, keep safe all.

Seer · 09/04/2020 19:07

Ah hello! Sorry for the break. Has been a hard week in one way or another.

I'm sending you love, Dottie, I think of you and how you're feeling often. ♥️

You remember that male friend that things got tricky with last summer? Well, I thought we were on an even keel since and then it's all just blown up again. I think this time it can't really be salvaged, which is pretty heartbreaking.

Other than than, I'm muddling along. I've been staying quite low in cals (not that I've been measuring) mainly just because my days are so busy. I weighed myself this morning (because we're treating tonight as a fri night and having a takeaway) and I'm still at my low weight.

Today's food:

B: fast
L: v cheese sandwich
D: Chinese and wine
Snack: sweet chilli crisps (right now!)

Have a good evening ☺️

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 10/04/2020 08:33

Yes I do @Seer, although I cant imagine what's actually happened. I remember you mentioned that your friends DP was uncomfortable with the friendship, even though your happily married. Obviously I'm not asking you to out yourself! Well do e on keeping your weight in check, just what I would like to see myself.

So, it's supposed to be Good Friday today but for me and I'd guess many others it's just another blurr of a day. DH has gone to work as it rather pointless taking annual leave when there is little to do. No plans other than to take the dog out for my daily exercise. I'm going to venture into the loft and grab out the childhood family cine reel. I'm going to show some to the DC and try not to cry (too much). Warm day so a bit of garden time aswell.

B&L- cuppa after cuppa
D- chilli con carne in tacos and tortilla chips and dips (takes me back to my holiday which seems a distant memory!)
S- 🍾🥂

Enjoy Easter best you can everyone!

Stay safe.

DottieLottie1 · 10/04/2020 09:40

Just weighed and I'm down 1lb which I pleased with. Just 1lb off my lowest weight. I've still got to work on maintaining this as I still seem to be dieting! Well its being strict mon-fri and blowouts sat and sun. I thi k I can live with this, I just don't want to feel guilty when I occasionally slip up. I've got my body where it needs to be now I need to get the head I the same place.

DottieLottie1 · 13/04/2020 11:32

Morning. I hope everyone enjoyed the easter weekend and sunny weather best they could.

Very lazy weekend for me. Weekends feel more normal than weekdays at the moment. When I do go back to work its going to be strange. It will be a distant memory eventually.

Missing my DM, its been 5 weeks now. I'm thankful she passed before Covid-19 escalated, it would have been so much worse for everyone.

Today I'm going to do our weekly shop and then take the dog for a walk. Hoping to fit in my 10,000 steps though this might be achieved by lots of jogging on the spot inside.

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L- fruit
D- pesto pasta

Keep well and stay safe all.

Seer · 15/04/2020 23:19

Evening,

How are you feeling @DottieLottie1 ? I can't believe it was 5 weeks ago, time feels so different now.

I really enjoyed the easter weekend. Although it was less of a change than usual it felt like a much needed break.

Back into juggling work and children this week which is pretty up and down!

My weight seems to be staying steady - dh even said I'm looking good earlier! I feel like I could be in a better routine with kettle bells tho.

B: fast
L: rice with sweet corn and v chicken, Asian dumplings
D: falafels, hummus, salad and pitta

Be safe and well ♥️

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 16/04/2020 11:13

I'm lucky that my DC are that bit older than yours @Seer, no juggling for me. They aren't doing any school work currently as it's the Easter break but when they do they are just getting on with it. They are also good at keeping themselves entertained, I rarely seem them! Does mean I try and drag them out for our dog walks though.

I mucked-up again last night, I had about 10 biscuits and 2 packets of crisps, and a lion bar 😬. I think it's a mixture of not really eating enough to save 🍾 calories and my routine being well and truly out of sync. I was only 1lb above my lowest weight last week so any damage done is fixable. I feel terribly guilty though, I had so much will power up until this month. I can find it again.

Plans today, a long farmland dog walk followed by housework and running frantically on the spot to up my daily steps! Doing very well in that department, averaging 14,000 per day. Managed >17000 yesterday. Aim to smash that, my record is 29,000 but that was going some.can you tell I'm quite competitive? 🤣

B- Vanilla and almond milkshake
L- fruit
D- omelette with goats cheese, salami and jalapeno. Plenty of salad

On that note I'm going to get my feet moving 🤪

Have a good day and stay safe.

Seer · 16/04/2020 21:21

Oh bless you, @DottieLottie1 I guess it's inevitable now and then when you're being as disciplined as you are. I hope you're not beating yourself up too much. Remember you're still practically the slimmest you've been in years, despite everything that's you've been going through ♥️

I'm feeling sad today though I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe just one of those days.

It's felt like a long day of work and childcare, which is starting to feel a bit relentless. My two are fairly self-sufficient and it would be fairly easy if I wasn't trying to work around them too. I also often have to have total quiet for some of my work (outing to explain why!) which isn't not working brilliantly between the dogs and children right now 🙈

B: two slices of olive ciabatta and hummus
L: 1.5 v cheese and salad rolls
D: roast veg and black beans tacos

Hope you have a relaxing evening.

OP posts:
DottieLottie1 · 17/04/2020 10:50

Oh gosh, quite alot of damage. My weights up 3.5lbs this week. I'm hoping some is water weight as that's a ridiculous gain for one single bad evening. I gained less on my AI holiday!!!!

I'm back on it and getting focused as of now. 5lbs to lose again, I'd like to say how has it happened but must be to do with the current situation? I'm still really active as I'm walking around 8 miles a day. I'm eating well but low calorie, yesterday I only consumed 870 calories and I know there is no over estimation. It's looking like to maintain my happy weight I'll have to stay very low calorie forevermore. 😔

@Seer, its normal to have down days every so often and it is very normal to have them at the moment. As I've seen the quote "Its ok to not be ok". Hopefully, you'll feel a bit rested after the weekend.

B &L- fast although loads of cups of Tea (tiny tiny splash of milk, love it really strong, no sugar)
D- 5% beef chilli, with dips
S- 🍾🥂

Have a good day, stay safe.

DottieLottie1 · 17/04/2020 15:37

Re-weighed this arvo as this mornings weight gain was very odd. I often do weigh lighter early afternoon, although I dont religiously weigh at this time. I dont know why as I've had a couple of drinks by then. This time I'm actually only up 1.5lbs which realistically is more accurate. Feeling a little better over it all now. But yes, back on it. I've managed 13,000 today so far that's around 6 miles.

DottieLottie1 · 24/04/2020 09:26

Morning.

Understandably it's gone very quiet on here but I'm still going to post for accountability.

I've had a very good week foodwise and have managed not to slip up. For some unknown reason after being as good as gold for 10 months I caved with the munchies the previous 3 wednesdays. I'm guessing I ate to little to save for wine calories 😬. The other days I drink (fri ans Sat) are classed as my blowout days so no problems there. I tend to stick to 1200 calories but more often

Seer · 25/04/2020 12:09

Morning!

How do you feel being back to your happy weight @DottieLottie1 ? It does seem like you need to eating v few calories to maintain there which seems strange given your height. Do you think it might be worth getting it checked when things are back to some normality?

How are you feeling about your DM? I think of you often. 🌹

I've been trucking along, generally good though the juggle of work and children is still challenging at times. 😬

I haven't weighed for a few days but last weigh in I was still in my happy zone. I'm due on soon so I'm looking more bloated but I know it's just cyclical.

I've definitely been drinking more since CV. Usually a 1-2 spritzers every evening. I think it's really because it feels like a way of breaking up the day/week, for example marking the transition from day to evening. It's been fun but it doesn't feel that healthy! I'm going to start from Monday to limit it to 1 spritzer on week days and see how I feel, then maybe to drinking only at weekends like before.

Yesterday's main meal was Chinese takeaway. Today plan:

B: avo on toast
L: fast
D: v hotdogs, fries and corn cobs
A few glasses of spritzer

Have a lovely day! ☺️

I've been posting almost a year now, and lost just over 4 stone. Thank you everyone for your support and I hope I have done the same. I've gone through ups and downs and hit a bad patch (not CV-19 related). Its time for me to say goodbye especially to you @Seer.
Take care everyone x

Seer · 15/05/2020 16:37

Oh @DottieLottie1 I've been thinking of you, honey. Please do reach out if there's anything I can do to support you.

Thank you for everything you've done for me.

Sending you lots of love ♥️

Found you lot again. I pretty much abandoned weight loss at the start of lockdown but have hit that point where I need to shift it.

Been back to SW for 3 weeks now. First week lost nothing, but with v good reason Wink, lost 3lb the next week and 3.5lb last week.

Sooo, my v good reason for not losing the first week was....

I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!

Boyfriend popped the question so obviously we had to celebrate. And now I really need to lose weight for the wedding!
