This thread is carrying on from the previous threads. This is November’s Thread.

Same as previous threads, I’ve omitted goal specifics of a certain number of lbs because as we’ve seen we are losing at different rates or maintaining. We need to create our own eating plan that is sustainable, enjoyable and provides all the nutrients we need to be healthy. It isn’t about extremes.

These threads are becoming quite holistic in nature and offer support to enable everyone to build & maintain emotional resilience and good mental health which underpins healthy eating habits and a healthy lifestyle.

That said, we mustn’t forget we are human and with that comes fallibility ..... It’s at those times the support on these threads is second to none. The support I’ve seen on these threads (and personally benefitted from 🙏) is awesome. I’ve not once seen any unkind or harsh posts. You’ve all been awesome

I’ve been out and done my evening walk around the neighbourhood. Very nice to get out and stretch my legs. The smoke has gone for the moment. I managed 10k steps, so I’m happy with that. The heatwave is arriving for us tomorrow, it seems to be travelling across Australia at the moment. The kids have finished school for the year now.

I’ve eaten sensibly today, I had scrambled eggs for breakfast, avocado, Parma ham and hummus and cucumber for lunch and cream and chicken and veggies for dinner.

I’ve really been strict this week because last week I seemed to grab a few too many snacks.

I need more willpower to avoid sugar! Heaps of honey in my tea! 6 cups of tea yesterday ☹️. Careful meal planning and exercise BUT still I need to do better.

Hi I’m still here. I’m just mired in hospitals and slings and fracture clinics as DS managed to break his arm fairly badly in Monday by falling off the climbing frame. Lord knows, I’m just amazed we got to 7.5yo before it happened, given he prefers not to have his feet in the ground! I did take him to school this morning, because he really wanted to go for Christmas dinner, whereupon he cheerfully announced @dont worry Mum, there’s plenty I can do one handed on the climbing frame.”

Hmm Shock Confused

Send gin. Or some other less calorific drink that will still do its thing. Right, off to make dinner and I will catch up on the thread later.

My only exercise is walking from car park across the site to work every day X2 and sometimes up and down to school depending on my shift times.

I'm trying to eat really well this week in anticipation of Christmas holiday excess Blush

Except we baked today so I sampled some...

In all honesty, things are bad here, but I'm tired and stressed and doing the best I can so, not going to beat myself up over this as well. Will be enjoying Christmas and seeing where I'm at after!

Fracture clinic, I’ve done that this year with dd! Sorry you’re going through it as well @DrDiva. I really stuffed my gob to cope with stress during those weeks. Dd’s arm healed well though and you’d never know she hurt it.

I had a fuck it moment this morning and had white bread cheese on toast x 2 for breakfast.

Seriously, I did really well yesterday. Baking cupcakes, icing Christmas cakes and not a crumb or swirl of buttercream passed my lips. I’m proud of myself.

Although sometimes life does take precedence over healthy eating. Today I’m out and about seeing friends. It could get messy Grin. I will regret nothing.

Hello lovelies

Not long to go now until the Big Day and only another 11 days left of this decade. WOW I remember 2010 so vividly and soon we will be in the tremendous twenties 🤩. I’m doing all I can NOT take extra weight with me. I’d like to start the new decade on or under 140. I’ve bounced between 140 - 147 for months really. Currently hovering around 143.

Yesterday did good. My host helped as she had a gluten free food and alternatives to alcohol (was driving anyway). I actually closed the tummy Shute at around 900 cals. So im in front. Out again later at the Kim Wilde Carols and planning on a hearty soup beforehand. Might have a mulled wine. Had a light lunch of raspberries and cream. If I stick to plan today will be 800 ish.

Hope you’re all having fun!

I've lost track but I was 12 stone 5.4 this morning so down a bit and also up but my highest has been 8 lbs and my lowest 1.2 so if I look at it that way it isn't the worst.

i'm walking along, content at 151.?? happily under the 153 mark and ever so close to 150-149 which would be a dream to hit before Jan 1.
exercise is going well and food choices are fine only challenge is portion control and "treats" between meals (in this case more damned peanuts in the house).
out for dinner tonight at a buffet...my nemesis BUFFETS
i know i'll eat it all and know it will be loaded with salt...
wish me strength. i'll report back.

We’re sweltering through a very hot day today. Then tomorrow it’ll be much cooler. So I’m having a few snacks today. It’s so hot it’s like you can’t think straight!

My DH has two weeks off work now so that’s a relief.
