glitter!! oh how we missed you. i saw someone with very red hair and it made me think of you... now i kno i'm on MN faaaar too long lol.
as for dh, mine is sleeping on the sofa and will be going to bed very soon, all this after a day of promise(ahem)
Bran---- how about making some yummy banana ones instead, still a treat and if you leave the banans to get ripe, so ripe they're black on outside (best to keep in fridge tho it may take a bit longer but keeps fruit flies at bay, you can always leave them for a while to get to room temp when you are gonna use them), the brownies will be sweeeeeet and chewy, mmmmmmmmm Oh bother, I have made myself fancy some now. I have some banans ripening as we speak promised my Mum's dh a banana cake ages ago.

I have found on my shopping spree today some dried strawberries and cherries soaked in raberries and dried, they are delish, and no added sugar.

Hi Champs, how's it going? You're not going to talk me out of SuzyWong's brownies I'm afraid, but I will keep my consumption of them to once every now and then.

I lost 1 pound at yesterday's weigh-in, annoyingly half a pound short of my first stone . And I'm off on holiday on Sunday so I expect I'll put a bit back on. Oh well, I'll try not to go too mad, and I'll stay off the chocolate, so perhaps it won't be too bad. The last couple of times I've been to the in-laws I've had heat stroke which means I throw up for a few days, so that ought to help keep the pounds off too .

champs · 30/09/2004 22:33

I am afraid to go onto scales this week!! I'm sure you will be good with the brownies so I will leave whip in cupboard for now. But it will be waiting for you on your return

glitterfairy · 01/10/2004 10:38

HI guys glad I was missed.

Brownies oh no! Luckily have a dreadful tummy upset from something and have been to the gym so am feeling virtuous and slimmer by default!

Anyway may go shopping later those berries sound delish!

Hi everyone - sorry I've not been around for bit, I had a training course last week and then have been playing catch up. Also have a stinking cold that feels like it's about to turn into sinusitis so I'm feeling awful! I'm sure I'd feel better after some brownies but just daren't cook any alhtough have taken down the recipe!! I'd love your 2 point recipe when you get back from hols Bran - and hope you have a great time!

TraceyP - have you looked for another RC class? There are new ones starting all the time and you can find out on her website. I really like my class especially the exercise although could be better at the diet - I go up and down a bit!

Glitter - are you OK after all your travels and feeling better? Hope the tummy bug has gone.

Welcome to everyone else! and 'Hi' to Champs!

glitterfairy · 04/10/2004 18:18

Hi all, I have just eaten my own bodyweight (and that's a lot) of Malaysian and Thai food here in Langkawi, and now we're off to Sydney to eat lots of Australian food . This place is paradise (with a hefty price,we are in shock), the hotel is set in a rain forest and dh and I just had the most heavenly open-air massage beside a river with jungle sounds all around us (like the cds you can buy, but for real).

Moniker, somebody else on the brownie thread had that recipe, but I can look it up on the WW website for you when I get home. I would do it now, but I'll feel guilty if I even see the ww website.
