woodpops - you make me feel so-o-o-o guilty actually planning to eat/drink at Christmas dinners, etc (especially as the company is paying for one of them!). I know I couldn't do what you're, doing, but hey, if it works for you, that's great.
I'm fully expecting to not lose at all in December and have even factored that into my spreadsheet. How sad is that - recording it all in a spreadsheet? I keep making it more complex too, with rolling 3 and 4 week averages, dates when I'm likely to meet targets, and adding lots of sub-targets like %ages of bodyweight, %age of target loss, whole stones lost, half stones lost, the number of whole stones going down. In fact with a little imagination I can find a milestone to aim for almost every week!
I'm trying (but probably not succeeding) to be super-good this week, as I only need to lose another 2.5 lbs to get to 5 stones. Unfortunately I think the effects of going to the gym every day might be offset by the after-effects of a parental visit this weekend. Beware of mothers bearing gifts of French cheeses!!! Sweet things I can resist easily, but cheese, if it's in the house, will get eaten, especially as dh doesn't especially like the soft French cheeses and they will only go to waste if I don't eat them.
