Desperately need to lose this weight. I can't use the excuse of I've just had a baby because DS will 5 in November!! 4 years ago I only needed to lose 1.5 stone, now it's 2.5. Would like to do something along the lines of low fat/low calorie diet, with exercise 3 or 4 times per week, but really do need a bit of support, as I tend to weaken very easily....

Would anyone like to join me, with a weekly weigh-in, day to day support etc?

I have not been, but I am going back to the gym tomorrow, plan to go 3/4 times a week.

I would love to lose 2.5 stone, but would be happy with anything over 1.5 stone.

Evening all.

Hope everyone is doing ok.

Well, I've managed to squeeze myself into some magic knickers to go out for the evening with some of the (yummy) mummies from school. I tried on some size 18 jeans earlier that I could barely get past my hips three weeks ago and they now do up....sort of.....I am left with the 'two bums' thing when I wear them (one at the front and one behind) so I've put them away to try on again in another three weeks.

I'm hoping to avoid drinking too much wine this evening, as that is my weakness when trying to lose weight and, as I haven't had any alcohol for three weeks, I'm worried that I'll get the taste for it again.

What's the lowest cal alcoholic thing to drink?

Hi all !! I have joined sometimes at the beginning !! I have finally lost 2 kilos !! Last week I had lost nothing despite all the effort..so on friday I had some white wine...a lot..but I'm back on track..I took my girls to the park twice this week so far ! I eat a lot of veg..ratatouille, peas, carottes.

When I eat carbs, I limit myself to 150 grams of rice, pasta...

If I felt peckish, I eat a fruit..this morning I had melon and 1 toast for my breakfast..

I had chocolate just once last saturday and since then..nothing, I'm quite proud of myself, chocolate is my weakness !

I am still amazed how I can have my cal allowance, well in fact some days its hard to actually have it all so I don't.

I really have got into looking at the back of these and 2 tasty lunch choices are quicky reduced to one when the other has 200 more cals, I wouldn't have even bothered looking before.

This must be the first diet for a bloody long time where I am not constantly obsessed with cals, points and colours lol

Okay, I had porridge for breakfast soaked over night in water, cooked the folowing morning with raisins, milk and 1 teaspoon of honey. 11am - no sugar, no salt musly soaked in milk for half an hour. Half a tab of Quark with 1,5 teaspoons of 0% greek yougurt with 1 teaspoon od flaked almonds and 1 teapoon of honey.
Lunch - salad, no dressing of cucumber, tomato, kiwi fruit and 2 piaeces of cheses cut in strips.
Dinner - will be rainbow trout with flaked almonds and salad with tomato, cucumber and avocado.
Do you think it's okay or do i use too much honey or anything else?
