Morning all! Welcome to the half a stone loss challenge for September. All are welcome whatever plan or method you are following. I'm mainly following ww online with some intermittent fasting thrown in for good measure!

All I ask is that we continue the uplifting positivity and support seen on previous threads! We cheerlead each other, celebrate success and support through the harder times.

We had a great month in August with lots of losses. I don't know about you lot but the longer this goes on the more it feels like a way of life for me now rather than "being on a diet"?

Stats for me are:
Starting weight: 19st 13
Loss for August: 14lbs
Loss for 2019: 5 st 3lbs
Target for September: 10lbs off

Ready for September??

❤️❤️

Morning all and welcome to the last day of September!! Well that went rather quickly!!

Stats for the end of the month are:

Starting weight: 19.13
End weight: 19.3
Loss for September: 10lbs
Loss for 2019: 5 stone 13lbs

Really happy with a 10lb loss for the month! And I'm only 1lb away from being halfway to goal.

After all the stress and upset yesterday me and DH eventually ordered a Chinese at 7.15 that didn't turn up until 9.15. My stomach was literally trying to digest itself by that point!! I had half my noodles and have the rest saved for later. WFH today so need to avoid bad snacks!

October thread will be up and running shortly!

Happy Monday. Hope you all have a lovely day!

Great stuff @cricketmum84 10lb is a great loss for a month.

I’ve just done my official week 1 weigh in, and I’m 2lb lighter than last week. That means I’ve got up to 7lb to go, so I’m very well motivated for the October thread!

FashionFoodLaughs · 30/09/2019 07:53

@cricketmum84 that is a stunning loss particularly in light of everything else you’ve had going on. Thank you (and everyone else) for all your posts this month they really help me.
My results are in
Start of September weight 11st 5lbs
Weight today 10st 12lbs
Over the moon! Battled a stinking cold and lots of events this month so am pleased that my good choices have paid off. I think I’d like to be 10st 7 as my fighting weight but will see what October brings.

HollyTheHarrier · 30/09/2019 07:53

Morning all. Very busy weekend here so just checking in. Weighed in at 60.5 today which is frustratingly pretty much the same as my 1 September weight in! I did hit 59.9 on Saturday so think I’m probably retaining some water after quite a heavy weekend for exercise. Hopefully October will be a more successful month from a weight loss perspective. However for balance, I kept largely on track through a busy and stressful month at work, I ate generally well and feel healthier and fitter. So September can be classed as a success from that perspective 😊 hope everyone is doing well

Well done on your losses everyone!

Start of the month-11.0 stone/70 kg
Today- 10.7/67.0

I done it!

Hoping for bigger losses in October. I've cut my calories down to 1000, so hopefully that'll help.

cricketmum84 · 30/09/2019 08:53

@AndTheyLivedHappilyEverAfter whoop! Well done!!

Be careful not to cut your calories down too low though. You might be better upping exercise to gain the same net calorie figure than cutting down to 1000 x

Morning all, and well done on all the losses, looks like a fairly successful month for most!
I weighed in this morning at 12.7 which after my weekend away was a great result.
So, 7lb lost in September, 2 stone lost overall. So pleased with how it's going!

Crazzzycat · 30/09/2019 10:10

Well done everyone on all those losses!

I stupidly forgot to weigh myself this morning, so no “official” stats from me this month 🤦🏻‍♀️ Let’s try again in October 😄

My plan for today is spicy bean wraps for lunch, bean and barley stew for dinner. Not sure about snacks yet. There will definitely be some fruit, but not sure what else 🤔

cricketmum84 · 30/09/2019 10:16

@Crazzzycat you need to bring me a spicy bean wrap!! I'm so jealous when you post about them!

@cricketmum84 I really hope things improve with DDDS . You've done amazingly well to stick to plan and lose an impressive amount of weight.
11st 0.4 this morning so down 1lb since last week and 6.4lbs for Sept overall. Another really bad weekend of eating everything in sight Sat and Sun. Haven't run since Tues but aim to go today. Bit disappointed to miss the 7lbs mark. Oct will be tougher as on holiday and my bday but aim for 7lbs again.
Good luck all

Tanaqui · 30/09/2019 20:09

Well done everyone for fab losses, or just for staying on track! Cricket, I am so sorry for what you are going through- obviously you are in quite a unique situation, but having had a teen with health issues, in hindsight, the best things to do were just be calm and loving and let them ride it out. Was hell at the time though.

Well after an insane weekend taking both ds to start uni, I have ended sept heavier than I started, despite a fab dip in the middle! Hope to get back on track in October!

Not a great month. Put a bit of weight back on.
Working is throwing me completely. I think it’s the inactivity. When I don’t work I can do up to 20-25,000 steps, plus had been working out about 5 times a week.
Working I am lucky if I get near to 10k steps and I’m struggling to fit any exercise in as I have to do things in the evenings.
Hopefully will settle down.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 30/09/2019 21:54

last day of the month and didn't do quite as well as I had hoped, but down 4lbs for September. That's 20 lbs total, and am finally in a number beginning with a 12 (stone) so that's a big step.

Here's to October! Fab new boots, Cricket - the look great on you. I always think that type of boots looks very posh.
