Hello @TantricTwist and @DottieLottie1 ☺️

We're close to 1k on our old thread and I thought I'd start this one whilst I remember and the other one is still open so I can point you to it!

We can finish the other one first if it'll make anyone itch leaving it unfinished 😀

Here's to getting to our goal weight/sizes during this thread! 🥂 (The next one we'll be maintaining!)

Good luck @MyGhastIsFlabbered How're you feeling about it?

Welcome @Skyejuly !

The photo shoot went very well if 🥶, I wore a variety of things @DottieLottie1 but not as warm as I would have liked given the weather! I think we got some great shots anyway so I don't mind suffering for my art 😀 I didn't feel conscious about my body/size/tummy AT ALL which was lovely.

Good Luck @MyGhastIsFlabbered

I wish we could see the photos @Seer

Welcome @Skyejuly

Back to reality for you then @DottieLottie1 I'm glad you had a lovely time.

B - Fast

L - Ramen noodles 85g, 5 Brazil nuts, 3 Finn crisp

Snack - A bowl of chicken broth, homemade for the first time in my crockpot. So just bones, an onion and a knorr chicken stock cube. I had to add extra salt and pepper to taste but it was delicious and so soothing to drink when I got home.

D - Chicken salad later on.

Seer · 13/01/2020 17:20

Sounds like a good day food-wise! for you @TantricTwist

I'd be v happy to show you them if I could do it without sharing them with all of MN! 😀

Maybe we could create a secret fb group just for stuff like this! Would love to see everyone's progress and Levi's and stuff!

Glad you had fun @DottieLottie1 ! You'll soon be back to your ideal size again.

Good plan batman.

I love how I look forward to my small soups now at lunch and that they're more than filling enough, with the added bonus of minimal effort required to prepare and easy to store.

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 13/01/2020 18:58

I don't think it's going to be great news as this is my first weigh in for nearly a month. But at least I started Christmas a stone lighter than I would have done if I hadn't started SW. Onwards and upwards.

I've been exercising every single day this month so I don't know what impact that will have.

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 13/01/2020 20:38

4.5lb on. I'm ok with that as I'm still 11lb lighter than I would have been if I hadn't started. I'm definitely back in the right headspace now...but I did enjoy every calorie of Christmas!

DottieLottie1 · 13/01/2020 20:55

Good on you @MyGhastIsFlabbered!

MrsGrindah · 13/01/2020 21:01

Big weigh in tomorrow for me. I never ever get a nice surprise on a weigh in...just feeling fat today. Anyway will let you know.

Seer · 13/01/2020 21:28

I find soups make great lunches too @TantricTwist , they're the holy grail of filling, nutritious and low cal!

Great attitude @MyGhastIsFlabbered I think most of us put weight on over Xmas but with a bit of focus it'll come back off again quickly.

Hope it goes better than you expect @MrsGrindah

I've just finished work (I was running an evening group call) and I'm feeling absolutely shattered. I will sleep well tonight!

Also, 89 more posts and we'll be onto our 3rd thread 😮

Any ideas for the name of it?

Does it involve Levi's/jeans?

Something about losing and keeping the weight off?

Something about feeling good in our skins?

I'm deffo planning to be around for a long time to come, through maintenance, post-hols loss and all the thrills and spills in between.

It would be strange not to have you women in my life after everything we've shared over the past 8 (!) months!

So did the dreaded weigh in...I’m exactly what I was pre Xmas 10st 12 lbs. I have to say I’m slightly disappointed but I’ll just have to keep on keeping on. I have a party in 5 weeks so I’d like to get to 10st 9 for that but it’s soooooo slow. However it’s nice to have only pounds to lose instead of stones!

Heavy day at work today so making sure I have a good breakfast.

@Seer I’ll have a good think about thread titles..we must be able to get Levi’s in somewhere ( do you think I they’d sponsor this thread?! )

Seer · 14/01/2020 07:44

@MrsGrindah it sounds like a result not to have xmas excess to lose but I understand why you'd like to have lost more.

Maybe something about: Feeling great in our skins and our Levi's

(😀 about them sponsoring it)

I've just hopped on the scales to get a maintenance starting point and to check any damage of the last few days (weekend of eating more and fri/Mon having breakfasts)... and I weigh exactly the same! I'm still right at my lowest weight and I'm thrilled with that. So I'm now officially maintaining:

16:8 fasting Mon-Fri
The No S 'diet' (except some dark choc at lunch!) until I feel confident simply to eat intuitively again
Some exercise every day Mon-Fri
Weighing and measuring weekly on Fridays

I will no longer be calories counting or restricting or weighing every day. Let's hope it works! 🙏

Today's my long day at work and usual dog walk, school pick up etc

Will start with some kettlebells or planks this morning.

B: fast
L: roast veg and hummus
D: tofu and veg stirfry, rice, spring rolls

Have a lovely day all! ☺️

Well @MrsGrindah considering Christmas has been between both your weigh-ins that's good! Agree, it's so slow even though I lost quicker than most. Weight goes on so quickly and when you want to lose it you want it gone yesterday! You'll do it.

@Seer, hmmm might ask you for (more) advice if I continue to struggle to maintain. Well done you too!

And I will think of thread titles too...

Levi's the next installment: "lose & love your Levi's"

"Livin' the Levi's Loca" ??? 😂

🤷🏼‍♀️

Yesterday I managed a whopping 29, 205 steps which was 16. 1 miles (this is a accurate) and supposedly burnt >1300 calories in activity alone. So between friday & Monday I covered 33.5 miles. Definitely need more weekends away, though the eating out might have spoilt things and not forgetting the expense!

Today... currently MNetting and watching breakfast tv and drinking a cuppa in bed 😳. Will try and get the dog out before the heavens open but I won't get anywhere near yesterdays effort 😜 . This afternoon I need to run a few errands and then this evening I'm the chauffeur for DC. Back to work properly tomorrow.

B- cuppa
L- Vanilla and almond milkshake
D- roast chicken in pitta with copious amounts of salad
S- Blueberries

That's around 900 calories

Enjoy your Tuesday everyone 😊

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 10:03

I don't necessarily believe the calories burnt though! I'd assume alot burnout 1300!

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 10:03

But not 🤦🏼‍♀️

Skyejuly · 14/01/2020 10:59

Hi all. My weigh day is going to be a Wednesday from now on.

No brekkie today as I need to allow for bigger dinner this eve as out with my son. Have had a tea with skinned milk though and will have lunch earlier.

Done my measurements last night. Am so out of proportion with my stomach no wonder my Jean's do not fit!

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 11:41

Hi @Skyejuly. I originally weighed on a Monday but after about 4 months swapped to a friday morning. This was because I'm strict mon- fri (aim

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 11:42

Hmmm,

Didnt post properly again?

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 11:46

Try again...

So, I originally weighed in on a Monday but changed to a Friday because I'm strict Mon-Fri aiming at

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 11:46

🤷🏼‍♀️

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 14:52

Maybe it will work this time ? 🤔

I've been on the weight loss journey for 8 months and I hit target on month 7- just shy of a 4st loss.I'm actually below my original target and happy with my current size. I'm now bumbling along trying to maintain which is proving a little trickier than anticipated. Christmas is to blame most probably! I went low calorie mon- friday at

Are you reading my messages in full? Or is it just my end that's having trouble? 😬😳

MrsGrindah · 14/01/2020 18:18

I can see them all @DottieLottie1

DottieLottie1 · 14/01/2020 18:51

Without sections missing?

I can even see a blank one .

God knows, but I'm filling the thread up fast 😂
