Hi all, made a new thread as the last one filled up so quickly and I'm still bloody massive!Grin

Rules are: be kind, no judging, have a sense of humour, weigh on Wednesday mornings... and no training with Amanda Grin

@YouBoggleMyMind @recklessgran @MrsMummyBx @emilyjeff and others! Here's a brand new spanking thread.

New starting weight: 14st exactly.

Bloody hell @TinselAndKnickers that's brilliant - got to be the best yet. [So sorry for the sad reason though - breakups are awful - been there a few times with my lot - big chubby arms at the ready for the mumhug!!]
@emilyjeff that's a big milestone for DS [and you]. Hope he loved it!

emilyjeff · 25/07/2019 08:58

Morning ladies just a quick message- 10st 11 so half a pound loss- I'll take that :)

recklessgran · 25/07/2019 09:26

Morning all,
Well done @emily - aloss is a loss, pleased for you.Yesterdays food was a bag of mini cheddars with 2 slices of cheese for lunch and 2 cod fish cakes with roast vegetablesfor dinner. Resisted the Magnums in the freezer. Drank loads of water, tea and one glass of lemonade.
Weight this morning was the same as yesterday.

MoonNoodles · 25/07/2019 10:06

@TinselAndKnickers that is impressive but all seriousness are you okay? Anything I can do to help?

I forgot to post yesterday but no change for me. Which is kind of bumming me out. I ate fairly well and went to the gym 4 times. Well one was swimming but still. Harumph. Wondering if its all the stress at work affecting me. Cortisol and all that jazz.

TinselAndKnickers · 25/07/2019 20:15

I'm okay thanks everyone - we will be able to be friends if we don't patch things up! Bit sad because I love him loads but ah well things happen for a reason. Another lb lost, 7lb in 3 days Shock

Well done on losses & maintains! Hope none of you have melted Grin

Ah glad to hear youre ok tinsel Yes crazy hot day today and so my day off has been spent basically hiding in the house sweating!! Might be a good way to lose weight tho ;) Me and DH have been to a street food fair tonight but I was very good and had beef brisket roll with salad, no chips and a calippo instead of ice cream or cake. Hope everyone else is well x

recklessgran · 25/07/2019 23:35

Today I've eaten a load of crap - a pack of M&S wafer thin ham, some Cheshire cheese and crackers, a magnum and glass upon glass of lemonade and water. So hot here even DH couldn't eat his spag bol - and that's a first. We had a massive hedgehog trying to get up the step into the kitchen so he got a bowl of water and sachet of recklesscat's la-de-da cat food. Should be cooler tomorrow folks.

TinselAndKnickers · 27/07/2019 00:20

Managed to eat a small meal today with my best friend tonight - a part of a Chinese from a food court in town! And some strawberry laces. Not good for me I knowwww but better than not being able to stomach anything!

Total loss is 9lb since sunday/Monday Blush I know it's not for a good reason but bloody hell what a kick start! I'll take it Grin

Morning all. Yesterdays food, cheese and ham panini with crisps, salad and 2 J.D's and cokes in pub. Gawd. Bassa fillet on it's own for dinner - followed by 2 slices of toast and marmite and half a packet of jelly beans. Very bad, girls, very bad!
Just off to collect DD1. Decided against the slow cooker tutorial as it's too hot for stew isn't it? Going to get her to bake some cupcakes instead. Bless her little heart. Will then treat her to a little pamper afternoon - nails etc.
Have bought in all her favourites to eat but I'm going to try to ignore all that.
Catch up later but hope you're all getting on O.K. @Tinsel awesome loss, just so sorry for the horrible reason. Hugs for you - don't bloody care how "unmumsnetty" that is!

YouBoggleMyMind · 28/07/2019 16:32

Eaten my body weight in food yesterday. Not hopefully of any sort of loss but I aim to pull it all in for the next few days and see how I get on. I just hate how my body clings to weight. It's shit.

recklessgran · 28/07/2019 17:59

Yesterday's food. Ham sandwich for lunch and gammon, egg and chips followed by sticky toffee pudding and custard at the Beefeater last night. Damn you Taste Card. [Incites DH to want to go there - any excuse and about the only place you can get a discount on a Saturday hereabouts!] I am too weak to resist. I am just not trying hard enough. Need to give myself a chat don't I? Anyway, DD1 has had a lovely time and I'm just about to cook quiche, chips and peas for dinner. [Her choice as she never has chips at home and I still have an old fashioned chip pan and make the most divine chips even if I say so myself.] Blackcurrant roulade for dessert. I am definitely giving that a miss - damage limitation and all that.
Fresh start yet again for me tomorrow ladies.

YouBoggleMyMind · 28/07/2019 21:39

That sounds like a good dinner out Reckless. I'll be starting from scratch tomorrow too. Got a couple of days to be good and hope that the weekend wasn't too bad... not holding my breath...

emilyjeff · 29/07/2019 11:40

Hi ladies, glad everyone had a nice weekend. All is good with me.
Sat was awful food wise- one of those days where you just ransack the cupboards eating all the sweet stuff you can find! Time of the month tho so I won't be too hard on myself.
Went to london yesterday for day out with friends. Had a bacon roll as a late breakfast and then nothing else till dinner. Which was three courses!! Chose reasonably well though and must have walked miles so didn't feel too guilty. Back on the healthy stuff today x

emilyjeff · 31/07/2019 09:30

Morning! 10st 9.5 for me this morning so 1.5lbs lost in the past week :)

YouBoggleMyMind · 31/07/2019 09:34

2lbs off for me this week 👍🏻 now to keep going! 12st 4.6lbs as of today.

I looked back at our old thread that we started in January and I was 12st 7lbs... it's actually embarrassing that I've only lost 2.4lbs in all that time... Blush

TinselAndKnickers · 31/07/2019 10:10

Last week 13st 13lb

This week 13st 7.5lb

Well done other losers!

Morning all this Weigh Day Wednesday.
Last week; 13st 8.5 lbs
Today; 13 st 5.75lbs
So that's a loss of 2.75lbs for me - God knows how that happened but I'll take it anyway.
Looks like we're all on a roll this week - hope @MoonNoodles has a loss too and then that will mean a full house for us.
Now all we have to do is stay on the wagon - I have my determined face on as need to be 13st 1lb before the end of August to finally make a stone since we started this thread.
DD3 is here and we are planning a trip to Next in the hope that the messy sale stuff has gone. We're looking for bits for DD's new apartment - plants and artwork in particular.
Hope everyone else is O.K. and have something nice planned by way of a little reward for weight loss efforts.

MoonNoodles · 31/07/2019 11:57

Morning all for a few more minutes anyway!

Yay!! I also had a loss of 2.42lbs! Woohoo everybody had a loss! Grin

I totally have my game face on right now. I'm attending a wedding during the bank holiday weekend in August and am in that annoying between sizes where one is too big but the other is just a bit too tight and I totally want to wear the smaller size. Lets do this!

ooh that sounds like a nice day @recklessgran I hope you and the DD3 find some nice stuff.

recklessgran · 31/07/2019 12:19

Oh dear - sorry girls my loss was 1.5lbs not 2.75lbs as previously advised. Just been in my diary to log weight and noticed that I was in fact 13st 7.25lbs last week. Drat! Never mind - still a loss.
@MoonNoodles well done! We can do this.

TinselAndKnickers · 31/07/2019 12:21

Wooohooo full house of losses!!!Grin

OP posts:
emilyjeff · 31/07/2019 12:52

Yay!!! So pleased for everyone. It so helps spur you on once you've lost a bit doesn't it...all of a sudden I am closer to 10.5 stone than I am to 11stone Smile

YouBoggleMyMind · 31/07/2019 16:38

What a bunch of losers we are! Aim this week is to lose another lb minimum 👍🏻 who's with me?

TinselAndKnickers · 31/07/2019 17:13

I've lost 12lb in the last week and a half - aiming for the full stone Grin

OP posts:
recklessgran · 01/08/2019 20:56

@Tinsel I really hope you make the stone - that would be brilliant and a little silver lining for your cloud! I've not been great as went to Zizzis last night with DD3 and ate lasagne followed by the usual sticky toffee pudding and ice cream - I do wish I could resist that stuff it's confectionary crack for certain! Quiche and chips today after my outing for a meeting with the tit slammer at the hospital. [I much prefer the tit slammer to the fanny clamp I must say.] Hope everyone is getting on O.K. Wouldn't it be great if we could all record a loss again next week? Fingers crossed for all of us.

emilyjeff · 01/08/2019 22:04

Evening ladies. Things going ok here, had a pretty good day food wise. Tried to go for a run this morning but wasn't really feeling it for some reason :( Just felt so tired and like such hard work which is frustrating as I normally quite enjoy it.
Your food sounds lovely reckless I am partial to a sticky toffee pudding!!
I agree tinsel that would be amazing to get to a full stone!
Can't believe its friday tomorrow, this week has flown. No real plans for weekend be nice to just chill, and no eating out for a change so might actually stay on track with the healthy eating! What does everyone else have planned? x
