Well done Stealth for beating your target! And welcome back Fiontar. I’m sure you’ll drop pounds again in the days to come as you get back on track.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 28/02/2019 06:25

Hi. How is everyone getting on? I hope you are all doing well. I’ve read the last few posts but have been so busy with work, and life, I’ve struggled to keep up Sad.

Stealth - I’m sorry you are having such a hard time. 26lbs is an awful lot, especially if you weren’t huge to start with. Look after yourself and put yourself first for a little while Flowers.

Great news about the skinny jeans Hounds. I can only dream of being a size 12 again!

I weighed on Tuesday and have finally lost a little. Just hope it continues over the next few weeks!

WhenCanISleepAgain · 28/02/2019 06:55

Hello gruffalos and well done on your loss this week.

I’m still the same this morning cellos! It’s frustrating because I dropped 1.5lbs on Friday but they’ve come back again.

PrivateCello · 28/02/2019 07:31

Will you take your Friday weight as your last Feb weight? As it’s likely to drop before the weekend.

TheHoundsofLove · 28/02/2019 09:43

Thank you all! I'd say I'm a bit more like a size 13, really!
However, I'm back to the UK next week, so the most I can hope for is just to stay the same.. if I'm bloody lucky Glad you had a good time Fiontar .
When It's frustrating when that happens...it's a slog isn't it?!
Well done Stealth and Gruffalo ! Although, take it easy Stealth - 26lbs is a huge amount since Christmas...

TheHoundsofLove · 28/02/2019 09:50

To those of you who are fellow runners (or would like to be), I can highly recommend this book. I bought it at the airport a couple of years ago (so not sure whether it's still sold), but if you can get hold of one, it's absolutely fantastic!

Fiontar649 · 28/02/2019 10:05

Morning all - I need to catch up with your posts properly, but hope you are all keeping well.

When I weighed yesterday I was showing a 11lb increase... feck! That was a great holiday so! 😂 I was really bloated after the flight though. Was 4lbs less this morning. I am getting back on plan today, and avoiding the scales until next Tuesday. In other news - my legs are sooooooo stiff from the walking. I am now hobbling around.

StealthNinjaMum · 28/02/2019 11:21

Thanks for the support, I know things will be fine, and thanks to this diet I do look and feel much better. I suppose I feel guilty to come onto the thread one week moaning that the weight is coming off slowly and the next week it is coming off so effortlessly. I never talk about my weight in real life to anyone because I really hate those boring thin women who moan about being fat when they're not or make stealth boasts and I don't want to be one of them.

So I weighed myself this morning and was down another pound and a half so that's four in less than a week. I had prepared good food yesterday but just wasn't hungry enough to eat much of it. I am trying to look after myself and am taking vitamins.

I ended up having a massive argument with stbexh yesterday about lots of issues (mainly why he is being such a terrible father) and do feel a lot better today.

hounds the 26 lbs is since the start of December so not quite so bad! Thanks for your concern.

cello the kids are mainly playing up with stbexh. They say they hate him and don't want to see him so I have had him over for a roast the last couple of weekends when I would be happy to never see him again.

Gruffalos keep going. It will come off and also when the weight stops coming off your body will just get thinner so you'll notice bigger clothes.

Whencan that's annoying but they will go again.

Fiontar That sounds like a fantastic holiday! 11lbs in a week, I trust it was worth it! I'm sure it'll come off quickly.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 28/02/2019 12:12

Stealth - I understand your concern as those women are incredibly annoying, but you really really don’t come across like that at all! You’ve done amazingly well and should feel proud and we’re all rooting for you! You should particularly feel free to post here if you don’t have much (diet or other) support in real life Flowers.

Fiontar - how was the holiday? Did you have a great time? I’m pleased for you that it wasn’t a real 11lb gain!

Mimosa1 · 28/02/2019 13:34

Gosh this thread moves fast! Think I'm (mostly) caught up.

To the poster (sorry in my joke so can't scroll up) who was nervous to join the BC please don't be! It's a lovely bunch.

@StealthNinjaMum that's extraordinary weight loss in 3 months! Are you following a particular diet?

StealthNinjaMum · 28/02/2019 14:31

Thank you Gruffalos

Mimosa I'm just doing low calorie with my fitness pal. In theory I eat a reasonable amount of protein, lots of fruit / veg and a smaller amount of carbs just because carbs don't really fill me up so aren't worth the calories. It is very good weight loss but the real reason is that I have separated from stbexh and basically didn't eat for about 6 weeks! Things were better and this week has been difficult again. Please don't repeat it! Last time I lost weight slowly with no marital problems was much more fun!

AwdBovril · 28/02/2019 22:36

I walked 19,500 ish steps today, about 7.7 miles apparently (shopping trip, again). Not sure about weight but I'm close to a stone off since I started trying. Was pretty good re: food - a boiled egg & a fat free greek yoghurt for breakfast, sushi for lunch, & prawn salad for dinner. And a nectarine. Lots of water & a couple of americano coffees.

TheHoundsofLove · 01/03/2019 06:37

Stealth I, too, would hate to be the sort of woman who always talks about weight and dieting...so boring! I was pondering it and I think it's why I find this thread so helpful - it's great to have support without having to become a diet bore in real life!

Mimosa1 · 01/03/2019 07:01

@AwdBovril - see, proof that shopping is good for you ;-)

@StealthNinjaMum sorry to hear things have been tricky with stbxh.

I'll be home later today from a holiday and will weigh in. I'm usually a daily or every couple of days weigher and find it very motivating. Not weighing for me is a sure sign I've gone off track put on 7kgs in 6m after my summer holiday when I didn't get back in track but I didn't use the I'm in holiday so sod it this trip, so determined to get in the scales and carry on.

StealthNinjaMum · 01/03/2019 14:41

Mimosa I try to be a weekly weigher because my weight fluctuates so much for no obvious reason but it's been daily for the last few weeks

Today I went out for lunch and had a lovely tomato and spinach omelette. I'm wearing a dress I bought in a sale that I was determined to diet into and today is the day it fits me! I have had to buy a new bra as it's very ....erm.... revealing.

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

PinkHeart5914 · 01/03/2019 16:55

Hello everyone

Hope your all ok & today is w good food day 😃

I done my run this morning, 6 miles. Some days I turn my headphones up and never want to stop running, others after 2 miles I’m bored. So today was a good running day.

Food for today
B- banana & black coffee
L- sweet chilli chicken & spinach in a wrap. 1 chocolate tea cake thing
D- is going to be a burger ( using lettuce leaves as the bun) slice of Mexican cheese, jalapeños, rocket, watercress, kale coleslaw & I will have 3 onion rings. 2 glasses of fizz too 🥂

Fiontar649 · 01/03/2019 19:53

Happy Friday! I am still jet-lagged to hell.

I already broke 2 of the mini goals I aer myself yesterday - I hopped on scales this morning and I am down another 2 lbs. So a net gain of 5 lbs for 5 days in NYC - I can live with that. I was seriously bloated when I got off the plane Blush

I also didn't get back on plan - I was so lazy all day that I didn't go shopping until the evening and I bought takeaway on the way home.

I am cooking tonight though!

Mimosa - good luck on the scales... I was tempted to wait until Tuesday, but glad I didn't.

Stealth - yay! - new dress! Love slimming into things. New bra too- I really need to sort out my undies. Although I don't want to spend a lot of money while losing boobage.

Pink - your running sounds great. I keep saying I will start C25K but put it off. I should probably learn before evenings get bright and people can see me Confused

1lb today, only lost 3lbs in 3 weeks, but 19lbs in 2 months.
It's been tricky eating, lots of travelling for work and overnights and other social things. I have to take comfort from total loss and focus.
Hope everyone is doing ok xx

Fiontar649 · 02/03/2019 11:37

aurorie11 - a lb a week is great though - it feels slow at the time but if we did that for 6 months or a year, it would be a chunky weightloss. The time is going to pass anyway! 19 lbs in 2 months is wonderful!

Work travel and mucked-up routines are hard to work around

aurorie11 · 02/03/2019 12:17

Thanks Fiontar xx

StealthNinjaMum · 02/03/2019 13:00

Fiontar I am wearing my new bra with an old dress and I feel fantastic. Very pleased with how my boobs look - that is a sentence I never thought I would say. Of course when I remove my bra I fear I will create some kind of earthquake around me!

5lbs on in 5 days will soon go.

Aurorie11 3lbs in 3 weeks is still good. You've done well considering your lifestyle.

I have lost another lb so down to something like 137lbs. I am being fitted for a new sports bra next week as I definitely need to do something to get rid of my stomach.

PinkHeart5914 · 03/03/2019 00:07

Aurorie well done on the 1 lb, they all add up and with working away and social events you could easily of gained so take the loss as a win.

Well done on your loss too Stealth

Fiontar You should just go for it with the running, you won’t regret it! When I first started I only ran in the dark as I was self conscious but now I don’t care what time of day it is.

Had a good day playing with dc with dh. Once dc went to bed had a go on the excise bike with dh on his to race, I done a few miles so I’m happy.

Food for today
B- crumpets with peanut butter, banana. Black coffee
L- ham and cheese salad
D- veg enchiladas (I used chickpeas, peppers, courgette, red onion, mushrooms, chilli) with salad
2 glasses of Prosecco

GreyGardens88 · 03/03/2019 09:04

I'm on day 4 of my new diet. I've been steadily putting on weight since last September. I'm looking to lose 2 stone by June. It's not nice feeling overweight in the summer. Food I had yesterday:
B: Mini brioche
L: Jacket potato with Tuna and salad
D: Tuna, green pepper, courgette and rice

mrbob · 03/03/2019 09:57

I'm BACK! Slightly with my tail between my legs. I don't know how much I have gained because I don't have access to my scales until tomorrow but I dread to think. There was lots of exercise but also lots of beer :/
Today I am back on track though and feeling positive. I have been for a swim and walked lots and eaten well. And all I am craving is fruit which is good! I think the combo of minimal fruit and veg available while I was away and now the insane heat is making me want good fresh stuff

I am so inspired to read how well everyone has been doing and you really are all giving me the drive to get back on it! Joining the gym tomorrow and putting together a plan :)

So nice to be back and hear what everyone has been up to and if I am brave I will weigh on Tuesday morning...
