Welcome Eliza! And well done Fatcat. It’s always nice to hear someone’s story Smile.

I’m also going away in June so would love to weigh a little less. I often lose weight or stay the same when we go on holiday as I find I eat more healthily in the sun, have the time to go to the gym and aren’t sat mindlessly eating whilst bored at work Grin.

A little off topic but I’ve actually just started TTC again so I have another incentive to try and lose weight and, more importantly, really eat a healthy diet and exercise. Obviously it may take years or may not happen at all, but if it does I want to give myself the best shot at a healthy, comfortable pregnancy (I REALLY struggled when pregnant before).

I’ve been for my run today, just got back infact. Food for today;
B- shreddies and coffee
L- left over chicken & veg pasta from yesterday. 1 pot no sugar jelly
S- hula hoops
D- steamed cod with wedges and salad

Thank you for the person who put the reminder on the thread to measure ourselves. I did and my boobs are two inches smaller and my bum is one inch smaller. Annoyingly my waist has stayed the same. This is the bit that needs to shrink.

Eating the same as dc today. Salad roll for lunch, tiny bit of spag bol for tea and small bit of home made chocolate cake for snack.

Can I creep back on to the thread? After a hopeless few weeks I am back to where I started weight wise and have been bingeing to deal with difficult feelings. However it has to stop so I have committed myself to recording everything I eat in MFP, doing 15 minutes of yoga a day and listening to a hypnosis tape. I don’t want to set a calorie target yet because I think if I break it I will just go deeper into self sabotage. I have been reading the thread and you are all doing so well.

Welcome back Grey (and any other lurkers). Just keep making small changes to your life and add new ones when the first small ones have become a habit. And come back here when you're about to self sabotage and hopefully we'll be able to help you.

Welcome back Grey . Logging what you eat, even if you don't put a limit on calories, sounds like a sensible way forward.

Hi all -
I have had a couple of weeks off mumsnet so just catching up-
Have been increasing exercise st lunchtimes and learning way less - scales don't seem to have caught up much and stuck at an annoying 90.1kg!
Willing it to drop into the 80's!

Weather is fairly good here so I am at the park with 3 dc, I’ll go for a run tonight once dh is home from work.
Food for today;
B- bowl of shreddies. Black coffee
L- chicken, stuffing and salad sandwich. Lentil crisps
D- is going to be home made burger topped with a slice of cheese and jalapeños (no bun!) wedges and salad

Small victory for me. I have a few items of clothes that were too tight when I started my job 5 months ago. I tried them on today and, whilst they don’t look amazing, I fit in them! My weight hasn’t changed at all really, so hopefully this is a good sign that I’m still getting slimmer and toning up!

After gaining and losing the same pound for the last two weeks, I've finally lost 2 lbs this week. I'm hoping for the same next week, as I've only lost 3lbs in January, so it's going super slow for me. At least it's in the right direction!

I have managed 2 runs this week, and completed c25k! Only took me 6 months 🙈 but I did it! So feeling very proud of myself. Also walked home from work for the last couple days, which resulted in 15k steps a day. Hopefully as it gets warmer and lighter I can do more running and walking.
