Morning! (Just about)
Lazy Sunday here so far, did a bit of WFH but it was for a project I enjoy and in my jammies

Plan for today is make my lunches for Mon-Wed, dinners too if I have enough food in, and pack for my holidays on Thursday. Might see my sister and nephew too if we can align our hectic not schedules!

Have a good day.

(If any of the others are still reading, please pop back on... miss your updates!)

WhenCanISleepAgain · 17/02/2019 12:32

Sounds good Fiontar. I’m feeling virtuous because I was back from a run by 8.30am! I feel like I’ve got going again after stumbling through the last couple of weeks.

That’s a good reminder about measurements Hounds and what brilliant losses for whatever week it is we’re in now (7? 8?).

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 17/02/2019 12:57

Hi everyone. I’m still here and trying to keep up with all the messages!

I’ve had a good week and an average weekend. We had pizza, pudding and wine last night. It was planned and was a birthday treat, but I still felt quite grim afterwards. I’ve managed to redeem myself with a tough 6km run today, so that’s something!

Hopefully this week will be ok. I REALLY need to see a loss soon, even just 2 or 3 lbs just to get my morale back up!

wizzler · 17/02/2019 14:31

Hi... been to my mums for a proper Sunday roast. Lovely.
Anyone seen Fridge recently?

wizzler · 17/02/2019 15:07

Right.. enough putting it off I am going to start C25K this evening. I have downloaded it onto one of the kids old MP3 players, and it only takes 30 mins so there is no excuse. Just need to wait until it gets dark so no-one can see me!

So now I have written it down I have to do it .

Anyone else fancy doing it too ? I think a lot of you already run so wont need to .

I did it a few years ago and I recall it did shift weight quickly without being completely impossible, and I soon became quite an enthusiast. Let's hope for the same this time .

TheHoundsofLove · 17/02/2019 15:53

Definitely do it wizzler - I started by doing it a few years ago. I used the zen labs app so that I could listen to my own music/podcast. Then I went on and did the C210k too. I think it's absolutely brilliant!

wizzler · 17/02/2019 16:18

Yes Hounds I no it makes sense .. it doesn't take much time up and it's doable. Also I am v envious of people like you who just run, without doubling up out of breath at the end of the road!

Time to stop making excuses and just do it .

TheHoundsofLove · 17/02/2019 17:58

wizzler But I started because I was getting out of breath going up the stairs and felt so unfit. I never, ever imagined that I'd be able to run for an hour nonstop!
Do it!!!

wizzler · 17/02/2019 19:32

Hounds I have done it! Am very red in the face and legs are wobbly but I did it.

Cannot imagine running for more than 60 secs at a time, never mind 60 mins but hey, miracles happen!

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 17/02/2019 19:55

Yay Wizzler, great effort!

WhenCanISleepAgain · 17/02/2019 20:33

Well done wizzler! I did C25K in November/December and am so glad I did - felt great to achieve it and it has definitely helped me stay on track as much by giving motivation as well as by aiding weight loss. Good luck!
Hope you see that loss soon Hounds!

WhenCanISleepAgain · 17/02/2019 20:34

Sorry i meant Gruffalos after your message but hope you see a loss too Hounds...!

Fiontar649 · 17/02/2019 20:44

Well done Wizzler !

StealthNinjaMum · 18/02/2019 11:18

wizzler what a lovely dog. Well done on the c25k. I downloaded it about a year ago and have never looked at it!

fiontar that's organised, where are you going on holiday? Will you be able to keep up the diet?

whencan run before 8.30? . I'm still in my dressing gown can't imagine being up to do a run that early.

pinkheart your meals always sound lovely.

Gruffalos I also hope you see a loss. It does make a difference.

I am doing well apart from yesterday. Lots of salads, potatoes, and generally small portions of things. Yesterday I felt ill (a cold) so had breakfast for the first time in months and fish and chips for lunch but I only had hummus and pitta bread for dinner. I'm kind of pleased that I left some chips yesterday and ordered the 'small' fish and chips.

Still feeling rough today but I've done a food order so that I can be organised this week.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 18/02/2019 12:15

Well done Stealth. I’m sorry you’re feeling ill though. How is it all going with the ex?

Thanks When. How are you getting on? Well done with the running (appreciate that was a few months ago!).

I was down to 12 stone 3.75 today. I’m going to cry if it goes up again tomorrow Grin Grin Grin.

PinkHeart5914 · 18/02/2019 12:23

Hello everyone

Wizzler Well done on your run, the c25k is very good to follow. I am a good runner, well I think so anyway and it’s so good for weight loss and you do get a sense of feeling good from it.

Gruffalo Fingers house a loss soon. It can be very difficult to keep going if you aren’t seeing the scales move

I’ve been for a run this morning before dh left for work 😇 it’s so much easier now the weather is a bit more pleasant. I’m out I’m the garden playing with the dc now

Food for today:
B- special k with blueberries. Coffee
L- Will be beans on toast, strawberry yoghurt in a while
D- The plan is leftover roast chicken from yesterday, with pasta in a spicy tomato sauce. Side salad

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 18/02/2019 12:28

Well done Pink. It sounds as though you have a lovely day planned. I’m jealous!

I know I asked before, and a few others have asked, but where is Fridge? Are some of you FB friends with her? I hope she is ok!

PinkHeart5914 · 18/02/2019 12:52

No I’ve not seen Fridge around unfortunately. Hope she’s ok too, her contributions to this thread were great!

StealthNinjaMum · 18/02/2019 13:15

gruffalo thanks for asking. Ex isn't quite 'ready' to ask for a divorce and gave me a box of chocolates on Valentines day last week. Not sure what he wants but I am doing my best to live an independent life without him. I probably should start the divorce process but don't feel quite 'ready' either.

I hope tulips is ok too.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 18/02/2019 13:17

That’s totally understandable Stealth. You don’t need to do anything until you’re ready. It must be so tough.

Errrrr you’re worth more than a box of chocolates...plus, doesn’t he know you’re losing weight?!Grin

TheHoundsofLove · 18/02/2019 13:18

I also hope that Fridge is okay and that she comes back!
I've not really been counting calories thus far (although have in the past), but am starting with MFP today. I think that it will be useful to see my calories over the week.
Well done with all the running everyone! And I hope that you all see a loss tomorrow morning.

TheHoundsofLove · 18/02/2019 13:20

Stealth Were they at least particularly nice chocolates?

PrivateCello · 18/02/2019 17:55

A bit late but really well done Wizzler! Delighted to see you have had a loss Gruffalo!
Hope fridge and Tulip are okay. Bob, I didn’t realise you live in Japan. For some reason, I always thought you are in Australia. Is he trying to woo you back Stealth 🤔
