Lovely dress Pink..and it looks great on you.
Well done losers!
I am still looking after poorly Mr Wizzler so not much free time but am planning on starting c25k.Did it a few years ago and it really shifted some pounds. Trouble is i got lazy and it morphed into c25k2c!
Have you moved yet Bob? Are you going far and will it still be red hot?

mrbob · 13/02/2019 21:27

Yes love the dress pink so pretty

I am moving to Alice in 2 weeks but on holiday for the whole 2 weeks before that from Saturday. Stupidly am skiing followed by central Australia within 48 hours Grin -5 to 35 degrees...

wizzler I too am planning on re-doing c25k. I actually really enjoy running once I am out there so I don’t know why I keep stopping and then it is harder to restart! Grr. Self sabotage all the way...

Fiontar649 · 14/02/2019 05:55

Blurgh.

So much for my early night. Feel like I have been awake for most of it. Have to get up @ 6 but, typical me, I could really nod off now!

Roll on bedtime again 😂😪😷

PrivateCello · 14/02/2019 08:03

Love the dress Pink!
Wizzler wishing your husband a good and speedy recovery.

mrbob · 14/02/2019 09:56

Have realised that am ignoring the elephant in the room. I am still having major sugar cravings and I know it is because I am drinking heaps of Coke Zero and having protein bars. I would happily have fruit but I can’t on keto so these are my only options. They are what keeps me going. But I worry that it means once I stop such strict keto I will be back to square one with my cake love...
I know I should wean off but I am trying to pretend I don’t need to Blush

PrivateCello · 14/02/2019 12:06

Bob you might not even want any cakes after you finish the Keto!

StealthNinjaMum · 14/02/2019 12:54

mrbob I can only speak for myself but my tastes have changed since I lost weight the first time and most of the time I don't have cravings for the foods I loved. Things like vanilla danish pastries that I had every time I had a coffee at the train station before work or packets of crisps. I loved crisps and would sometimes have a sneaky packet even five minutes before I was due to meet stbexh at a restaurant. At first I made a conscious effort to not have these things and because it took a long time to lose the weight these habits just faded and I can't believe the last time I even wanted a vanilla danish - maybe 5 years?

That isn't to say I won't have the odd binge - but in the last few weeks a binge has been 4 or 5 chocolates or 3 or 4 biscuits whereas 10 years ago a binge would've been a whole box.

I also had an addiction to diet coke and at some point I made a conscious decision to not drink any at home and so now I probably have 3 or 4 cans or small bottles at home a year (when I am desperately craving it) and maybe 1 a week in a restaurant.

I weighed myself today and I was down. Can't remember by how much (I have an app on my iPad which is upstairs) but I think I had lost roughly the lb I put on last week.

Fiontar649 · 14/02/2019 19:41

Evening!
Was so tempted to get a bag of chips tonight, but I resisted! Heading to bed early again, hoping to sleep through tonight. I am shattered

TheHoundsofLove · 14/02/2019 19:59

I hope you have a better night Fiontar .
mrbob How long have you been low carbing for?
I'm pretty pleased as have managed to do 23,000 steps today! It's been very spring-like the past few days, so I've really enjoyed being outside.

mrbob · 14/02/2019 20:55

That is a lot of steps hounds You must feel so good!
I have been on plan since New year (almost completely perfect!) with my slow drift towards my goal weight!
fiontar when my cravings get the worst in the evening I put my PJs on and then I can’t go and buy things!

WhenCanISleepAgain · 14/02/2019 20:56

Sleep well Fiontar! Well done on all those steps Hounds. I also managed an extra long walk today. It was such a gorgeous day here and definitely felt like Spring. Made me feel very positive and is a good time to review goals etc going forward.

wizzler · 14/02/2019 21:12

Sleep well Fiontar.. and well done Hounds for 23000 steps that's amazing

Been really busy all day.. grabbed a soup for lunch then only had time for beans on toast this evening. Will reward my virtue with a sloe gin

CarrotPuff · 15/02/2019 08:48

My weigh in today, and I've lost the pound I've gained last week. Probably lost another too, but last night had a big meal with dessert and 🍷 😬 Hopefully I can lose a bit more next week!

wizzler · 15/02/2019 09:19

Well done Carrot.

StealthNinjaMum · 15/02/2019 11:24

fiontar hope you slept well, well done for avoiding the chips.

And well done for carrot.

Well I have sort of been 'good with my diet' a bit more organised rather than having toast because we only have bread in the house. I have lost 2lbs since Tuesday which I am delighted with. I had put on a lb so I'm really pleased. I want to lose another 2 1/2 lbs in February so 1 a week should be doable.

Lunch today will be a tuna potato. Dinner will be a Greek salad with pitta and a tiny bit of hummus.

WhenCanISleepAgain · 15/02/2019 18:13

Well done carrot and stealth!

Fiontar649 · 15/02/2019 19:20

Good for you carrot and stealth... well done! And all the walking Hounds and when ... hello too bob and wizzler... hope I have included everyone in my hellos.

I had a much better sleep last night. TGI Friday though! Have a nice evening folks 😊

mrbob · 16/02/2019 04:49

Good work all :) I had a few carbs last night (still pretty controlled!) so may have gained but it was a good lesson. Got belly aches and am still full at 3pm the next day! I realised I often get a sore belly intermittently and haven’t since I started keto so it must be something carby related. I had a few crisps and no bread so it doesn’t seem to be a gluten thing. Anyway extra push to keep on track but may be hard work with all the gyoza on offer in Japan. Not sure I can totally abstain (especially given how shit Japan is for putting fish sauce in everything else!)
I feel like we are all settling in to this a bit more :)

wizzler · 16/02/2019 07:03

Morning everyone. A sneaky peek at the scales this morning showed moving in the right direction. Let's hope it's the same on Tuesday when I weigh in!
Off to walk the dog early, before there are loads of other dogs for him to bark at!

wizzler · 16/02/2019 07:05

Here is ddog. To brighten your day. He hadn't eaten the chocolate bar... but he would have if I let him! Constant battle to keep him away from chocolate. But like me really!

mrbob · 16/02/2019 07:21

Too cute!

aurorie11 · 16/02/2019 08:06

Weigh in morning for me, 2lbs down this week, 17 in total since 2nd January. Pleased with this as activity down this week due to work.

Good luck everyone else

WhenCanISleepAgain · 16/02/2019 08:31

Cute dog wizzler and very like me - will eat any chocolate that I come across Grin Good news on your losses wizzler and aurorie. I’d love to visit Japan Bob!

Fiontar649 · 16/02/2019 09:21

wizzler&aurorie great work! Good morning to ddog too - enjoy your walk!

mrbob those wee lightbulb💡moments about certain foods and how they trigger us, are a great indication of how we're improving! Morning when

TheHoundsofLove · 16/02/2019 11:40

Morning losers!
Well done aurorie and wizzler .
Is ddog a Bichon? One of my dogs is a Jack Russell, so I know all about avoiding certain other dogs...and cats...and anything small and furry! In fact, she's still not over me rescuing and releasing 3 mice yesterday - she was watching me from the window and couldn't quite believe what she was witnessing... Grin
I've had my usual Saturday morning weigh-in and have lost 2.5lbs this week! Smile Are you all remembering to take measurements too? As...although, I've 'only' lost 9 lbs so far, I've lost 1inch from my bust, 2 inches from my hips and 2.5 inches from my waist!
