It sounds like everyone is doing okay. Well done for going to the gym, Hermione ; for keeping on track Fiontar and mrbob ; and for having a blip but getting back on with it Pink and When . I hope that everyone else is plodding on...
For the past couple of weeks, I have been back doing 5:2 and am getting on well with it. I find it the best fit for family life and it allows me to have a few treats at the weekend without worrying. I went out for coffee and cake yesterday and then am out for pizza with a friend tonight, but am ok with it as will have a fast day tomorrow.
I've lost another pound this week, so am now 6lbs down.

Hello all

Hope everyone is ok and having a good food day.

I’ve been on my exercise bike today and I’m just about to leave for my run.

Food today:
B- Toast & poached egg. Black coffee
L- 1 slice cheese & jalapeños on toast
D- is going to be roast pork, a couple of potatoes, broccoli, peas and carrots

Not really had a good food day, and feeling very bloated. AF is on her way too. Fx for a better day tomorrow, and it's supposed to be warmer too, so hopefully will go for a run in the morning.

Pink your menus always sound lovely.
Felt rubbish yesterday so was a bit more relaxed over what I ate. Been better today but need to work out how to tackle tomorrow. Have a big meeting in London so early train. Not sure what the options will be for lunch... it's not the sort of place I can unveil a banana!

Hoping for a loss at weigh in on Tuesday so don't want to blow it now!

wizzler I hope London is full of healthy salads for you!

My wine has caught up with me and I will not lose this week but tbf I didn't expect too. At least I haven't gained. It does make me realise though once I am at goal weight I am basically going to have to eat this way pretty much all the time to not gain weight which seems extreme :( Hey ho. Mind you my exercise will step up very soon once I have organised my move so I suppose that will help a lot mentally and physically.

In the mean time I shall meander onwards and aim for Christmas skinny-ness Grin

Just caught up with the thread and i’m in awe of the determination you’re all showing. Things aren’t great here and as usual that means I have been comfort eating but determined today is a new day. Need to detach from DH and just concentrate on me for a bit. I’ve got lots of things I need to do this week and i’m hoping if I can plough through those and keep my eating under control then that will give me confidence to start looking at the harder stuff.

Sorry you are struggling grey sounds like a good plan for this week. Perhaps so as not to put extra pressure on yourself as you are dealing with so much at the moment, it would be best to focus on maintaining your current weight instead of trying to lose. Ignore me if I have spoken out of turn!

grey I'm so sorry it's hard for you but pleased to see you back. It sounds sensible to focus on something like your health and then tackle other stuff as you get more confident.

I haven't been around much because I kind of fell off the wagon a bit but actually weighed myself and I am still down a pound on last tuesday. Obviously for 2 months I wasn't eating because I was unhappy about stbexh. Then he left and I have eaten a lot of crap in the last week. But I still don't really have an appetite so don't eat much but I do take vitamin pills because I know this isn't healthy. I am just doing my food order and this week I am going to attempt to carry on with eating salads and soups with lots of fresh veg.I think tonight I'll do a cottage pie for dc and have some.

Bollocks to it! I knew I'd stay the same some weeks! Now it's happened, and the sky hasn't fallen in, I know I can cope!

This week will be crazy for me. I've got my Addaction appointment today, plus we're helping my brother move house. Need to focus!

2 lbs off this week, 18 in total. I was a lb lighter during the week, but I have to be realistic about fluctuations. Overall, I am pleased with how it is going for me. We'll done everyone, it's hard to keep going at times

After saying last week it would be slow from now on I am down to 143.1lbs which I think is 1 1/2lbs less but need to check. I am surprised because I haven't been religiously logging on mfp because I have eaten crap like pizza, Pringles, and left over crackers from Christmas with lots of cheese. Anyway I know that losing weight isn't enough, I want to do it healthily.

My target for Feb is 140lbs.

1.2lbs gain for me. Not unexpected given I have been off the wago since Friday. But now DS’ birthday and his party are out the way it’s time to get back on it!

Half a kilo off for me. Bit frustrating as showed a half kilo gain half way through the week but have no idea why! Have been really really good so was hoping for a whole kilo but a loss is a loss... think I need to get back into exercise as had a week off due to flu. Was back at Zumba yesterday but think I need to get some more time at the gym in this week.
Well done to everyone for another week!
