I can’t remember how many threads we’ve had now, but here’s the new one.

My plan is to go get back to 1250 calories per day using MFP and my shiny new fitness tracker. I had lost 10lbs from Nov-Dec this way and found it manageable. However, I won’t be starting until Jan 1st as I’ve a few parties and stuff on (and it wouldn’t be a well thought out plan if I didn’t procrastinate about starting).

My goal is a holiday we’re going on at the end of March, I will need to be in a swimsuit for some of it so need to get my shit together.

I think everyone on this thread has tried every diet going so newcomers feel free to join, there’s lots of support and understanding.

@SolitudeSometimesIs I weighed myself yesterday and I was 11st 9 which is 3lbs off since Monday I'll weigh again tomorrow. But I'm worried I'll be upset if I haven't lost more.

I haven't slipped up, but with my fruit salad I'm having berry's, mango and melon which I'm I'm correct in thinking it's meant to be pear, apples and banana??

I'm slightly disappointed it's not a huge difference. But I have just come on my period too. Not sure if that has a factor in it.

But you’ve lost 5lbs in a week when your period is due. That’s amazing. That’s what I usually put on. Don’t be disheartened, you’re probably retaining water as well so keep going and you’ll thank yourself when the week is up.

I haven’t weighed yet. Too afraid it will say I’ve only lost an ounce and I’ll self sabotage. Had my breakfast for Day 2 and I feel fine.

argh im really struggling today. Im cold and hungry.
Ds1 has a veggie finger and salad wrap and ds2 has pizza and salad. im very jealous.

we are also making peanut butter and jelly cookies after lunch. Ive given up trying to school work. ds2 has been so difficult this week.

I'll just sit here with my black coffee :(

I'll try pom the boys are getting so lazy, Im trying to take them out for a walk etc but they are like its pointless if we can go on the swings etc. Im also desperate to go to the farm shop, but unsure whether they will frown on me carting the kids with me?

Start afresh today Rachey, it was just a blip. I’m going in to today 8lbs lighter than I weighed on Thursday. It’s worth trying to carry on. I have to make cookies with my kids later, dreading the temptation but they’ve been asking for days.

How’s everyone else getting on?

Yes I am restarting today. I don't know what came over me. I had smoked haddock for dinner then I ate 10 Quorn cocktail sausages (I don't even like them) 10 prunes and a fab

I weight 11st 6 this morning. It breaks my heart to think it could have been less if I didn't go off plan

We made vanilla cookies with smashed up Easter egg in them. They smell amazing but I can’t even risk a bite, I’ve just had my lunch of fruit salad. So dull.

Pom are you starting JD on Monday? I’m not finding it too hard but I’d murder for a bag of crisps.

@SolitudeSometimesIs I've been back to the garden centre today and brought some more pots. I'm now deweeding and throwing away some old garden toys. - trying to keep myself busy.

I've just had my fruit salad today. Egg salad for dinner. Your cookies sound delish 🤤

I might start Monday but do have some lighter life bars so could do that for a few days instead.

Monday check in.

Not feeling great, cramps and freezing cold so I’ve swapped out the fruit salad for a bowl of vegetable soup. There’s about 60 cals in the soup so shouldn’t be a huge difference to cals but other than that I’m still on plan. Terrible headache today though.

Are you restarting from day one Rachey I’m not expecting a huge loss for the next few days, I’m really bloated and retaining water.

Are you following a specific plan Pom or are you just sticking to 800 cals of whatever?

@SolitudeSometimesIs I felt so rough yesterday similar to your symptoms plus lightheadedness.

I did start again today but by 3 I felt really bad again so I'm eating food.

I'm going to try limit my carbs and cals.

What day are you on?

I’m on Day 5 I think, but I had a proper dinner yesterday as I was feeling rubbish. I picked the worst week to start. I’m not even weighing myself, just trying to eat less and as close to plan without feeling sick. My stomach is far less bloated than normal so that’s a plus.

There’s no point in doing it if you feel rubbish Rachey, just do your best to watch what you eat. I’m hoping for salads to become a more regular feature in my life. Salads and warm weather are always a good pair, I’ll just have to leave off the glass of white wine I usually have with them.

I’m on day 3 of 1000 cals, hoping for a good weight loss on Monday. Then have to keep going, might increased to 1200 but have 2x 800 days.
