I can’t remember how many threads we’ve had now, but here’s the new one.

My plan is to go get back to 1250 calories per day using MFP and my shiny new fitness tracker. I had lost 10lbs from Nov-Dec this way and found it manageable. However, I won’t be starting until Jan 1st as I’ve a few parties and stuff on (and it wouldn’t be a well thought out plan if I didn’t procrastinate about starting).

My goal is a holiday we’re going on at the end of March, I will need to be in a swimsuit for some of it so need to get my shit together.

I think everyone on this thread has tried every diet going so newcomers feel free to join, there’s lots of support and understanding.

Had a really long day at work yesterday, so only did a quick 30 min circuit at the gym. Ds2 was naughty at schools again, which is causing arguments between me and dh. Life is so exhausting sometimes 😭

Is he naughty or do the school have too high expectations?

Not minimising - but he can’t be naughty all the time. Are the school managing to engage him? If he’s interested - he’ll want to learn.

IT really is. I stood on the scales this morning, I can’t believe I put on 6lbs in 3 days so I’m officially to get a new battery for the scales.

Grocery shopping day today, hoping being fat shamed by the scales will spur me on to buy only healthy food. Off for a walk on my lunch break too.

I’m going to try 2 weeks of serious dieting to get me in shape.

I am such a yo yo dieter, I have no idea how to get out of this cycle??? It's seriously making me depressed.

Have had a bad start to the week again. 😭

pom yes it is. I don't want to spend my 40's like this. I have 3 years to sort myself out.

At work they got cake, and didn't even bother offering it to me as I'm always on a diet. I'm so miserable. The fat person always on a diet??

It’s so disheartening Rachey, I hear ya. I feel the same. I feel old before my time. And yes to being the fat dieter! I’m exactly the same. I’m the heaviest I’ve ever been and I constantly feel like I’m not eating the things I want.

I’ve come down with the virus that’s going around work. I feel shite. I had homemade veg soup and toast this morning, it was all I wanted to eat. I’ve been out walking every day for about 45 minutes and I’ve put on weight. I had salad and homemade soup yesterday and I still put on weight. I’m so annoyed at myself. In my 20’s I would have been 5 lbs down after a couple of days of healthy eating.

I’ll keep on trying though.

It is miserable. Maybe do something drastic because this constant dieting is exhausting.
We could do fast diet for 6 weeks????

I’ve tried harder this week and have my weigh in tomorrow. I’ve been having veg soup every day for lunch and trying to walk as much as possible. Having healthier dinners and trying not to snack but it’s hard.

I have my friends 40th birthday this Friday and then another one at the end of the month so I’m trying to stay motivated. I’m definitely less bloated and feel better with getting out to walk, it’s lifted my mood a bit.

Currently stuck inside because of the storm but I’ve made cookies with the kids to keep them occupied, I just need to nothing eat them.

I'm trying to be good ! I've cut calories to 1200 but went over at the weekend. Also trying to fast for 16-18 hours.

We've still few months until summer !

@Pomegranatepompom that sounds like a sensible plan. Do you stop eating after 7?? I would love to do that but don't get home till late so we would never eat.

I'm fed up of dieting 😂 I'm not even trying with the body coach, dh is really doing well but I just can't seem to get into it.

@Greenrabbit how are you getting on?? My mil is on Ww points and doing really well.

@SolitudeSometimesIs how did your weigh in go??

I'm still exercising 5-6 times a week. I just can't control what I put in my mouth 😂

Thanks for the thread once again! I joined there and started with limiting my calories to 1200 per day and added some extra work outs. It's been 1.5 months of me living like that and it looks like there is even some progress (5 pounds less and my arms got stonger). I'm planning to keep it up for the next 4.5 months and then make a slideshow about my progress. I hope I will achieve something, haha!

Hi everyone. I’m in holiday at the moment so the diet isn’t happening! Doing a lot of steps each day!

Rachey I think I’m going to give WW a proper try when I get back. I’ve been really struggling with everything recently. I’m hoping to get in a better mindset when I get back.

Hi.
I’ve been sick for the last 2 weeks with walking pneumonia. Fatter than ever due to some epic comfort eating and bloat from all the meds, but I’m going to stick to F800 for the whole of lent. I need a challenge.

Rachey I am so sick of dieting too. It’s miserable. So is being fat though but at least foods is delicious when I’m comfort eating.

I’ve been trying to eat better quality food, lots of home cooked meals and a ton of antibiotics. Last day of them today so I’m hoping the pneumonia is all gone. Really felt so rubbish over the last few weeks. I haven’t weighed myself and I don’t plan to. I’m going to focus on good food and healthy options for the next while.
