I can’t remember how many threads we’ve had now, but here’s the new one.

My plan is to go get back to 1250 calories per day using MFP and my shiny new fitness tracker. I had lost 10lbs from Nov-Dec this way and found it manageable. However, I won’t be starting until Jan 1st as I’ve a few parties and stuff on (and it wouldn’t be a well thought out plan if I didn’t procrastinate about starting).

My goal is a holiday we’re going on at the end of March, I will need to be in a swimsuit for some of it so need to get my shit together.

I think everyone on this thread has tried every diet going so newcomers feel free to join, there’s lots of support and understanding.

Treadmill hire sounds great idea Sol.

I can’t seem to stop eating. Hoping to get back into right frame of mind after bank holiday ! I’m going to try and fast Wed/thurs.

Rachey I always get a nice coffee to bring with me to the cinema and then just sip it and by the time it’s gone so is most of the popcorn. Otherwise I stuff myself.

Good luck with your fast days Pom, I found okay a bit of a struggle, it’s so easy to break good routines and then so hard to restart them.

I’m excited to get the treadmill, I could probably buy a second hand one for the same price but at least this way I won’t have to figure out how to get rid of it if I don’t use it. DS1 is also really in to it, he wants to do a 5K run next year so thinks he can practice on it.

I managed to stick to plan today, DH made a teriyaki stir fry for dinner that was gorgeous and healthy so I feel like I’ve surely lost a stone, haven’t I???

sol that sounds like an amazing idea, I brought a bike once.........I used it to hang washing on. 😳 so great the ds1 is interested as well, would you do a 5k together? Over in London Great Oenone street hospital do a 5k family run, which I've done in the past.

The stir fry sounds amazing, have you tried Linda McCartney "shredded duck" it's delish and a great substitute.

Thanks for the tip, Ive swapped dinner which is lamb for my lunch and I'll have the fruit salad for dinner to eat while watching the film. Ive also got my keep cup which I'll make a black coffee in for the film.

What's on the meal plan today?

pom eat all the chocolate and start fresh when gone, otherwise it's always going to taunt you. I'm not a chocoholic my down fall is crisps, cheese, bread, crackers and butter.

Atleast your still running. Do you have any plans over the bank holiday?

I'm desperate of a linen jumpsuit but I'm worried it'll highlight my lumps and bumps, plus I don't want to start buying lots of size 12 stuff when I'm aiming to get back into my size 10 clothes.

Rachey I had an exercise bike I used as a towel drier too, that’s why I know that I can’t buy one. What fin are you going to see? I haven’t been to the movies in years.

sol I think that is the common use for a at home indoor bike 😂 sorry today hasn't been great food wise.

I'm going to watch avengers end game I hope I don't fall asleep it's bloody 3 hours long. Dh is hungover so not sure how he will last either 😬

I have had a bit of a boozy weekend but the food has been ok. I was out last night so I think a Chinese takeaway might be in my future. You know it’s bad when you wake up craving food.

Ordered my treadmill and it will be here next week, my exercise for today will be clearing out the garage to fit it in. Definitely on for Freah Start Tuesday!

Ended up not getting a Chinese but ate about 40 bags of crisps instead. I am officially shite at dieting. I had Easter egg too Pom, dipped in coffee, it was sooooo good. I will work harder tomorrow....probably.

I hope everyone had a great weekend? After the bank holiday I'm back on it. I haven't had any alcohol but have made up for it in food.

I will plan to do JD for 1 week then low cal for 1 week then JD again which should take me up to ds2 4th birthday. After his birthday I'll prob do the 5:2 or some variation. I need to fit in my summer clothes 😳

Well done sol for avoiding the Chinese. I'm sure the crisps weren't as bad. How often will you use the treadmill? Will you start walking up an incline? I've heard that's the best for losing weight

Rachey I’m avoiding the scales for the next few days, this weekend was ridiculous. I’m waiting to get a definite date for delivery, but it should be by Thursday. My plan is 4 min walk, 30 seconds run, for half an hour. Warm up and cool down will be on the incline. I’ll get to use it twice a day so I’ll get my moneys worth. I know it doesn’t sound much but I’ll build up to running more every week.

Good luck with JD, how did you find it last week? I’m on MFP this week, 1250 cals and probably lots of wandering around the kitchen feeling mournful and hungry.

sol that sounds like a great plan with the treadmill. When I had a pt he was insistent that fast walking up an incline was far better than running.

Yeah I'm not weighing till next week either. How long will it take to lose 10 inches from my hips? That's what I need to lose to get back to my size last summer 😬

Cals for yesterday was slightly higher than hoped. 1400. But I did do body pump then a spin class so I'm hoping it's not too bad.

I need quick ideas for dinner? Maybe stuffed peppers?
