I can’t remember how many threads we’ve had now, but here’s the new one.

My plan is to go get back to 1250 calories per day using MFP and my shiny new fitness tracker. I had lost 10lbs from Nov-Dec this way and found it manageable. However, I won’t be starting until Jan 1st as I’ve a few parties and stuff on (and it wouldn’t be a well thought out plan if I didn’t procrastinate about starting).

My goal is a holiday we’re going on at the end of March, I will need to be in a swimsuit for some of it so need to get my shit together.

I think everyone on this thread has tried every diet going so newcomers feel free to join, there’s lots of support and understanding.

Likewise boys are their eggs for breakfast. Spent the day on the beach now in my parents back garden drinking more wine 🍷

Ok guys I don't think I can eat and drink anymore. Today I have a big roast with my parents then tomorrow I'm starting a fresh. I am going away to watch wasps v saracens on Saturday. So I know the weekend will be a write off.

Tomorrow - Friday going to start a low cal week aim 800 cals.

How is everyone getting on?

Morning all,

After a week away my cupboards and fridge are bare.

I am armed with a minestrone cup a soup and a pink lady apple. I will need to eat more than this but not sure what I will plan.

I'm going to stick to 500-800 cals today. Got spin tonight after a week away it's going to kill me 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

Morning. Rachey you sound very motivated. Are you doing 800 cals for the whole week? Are your kids back to school? Mine are off til next Monday.

I’ve started back on the fasting. 7 hours started at 10.15 which is ridiculously early but I was starving. DS2 is not sleeping and I am feeling really unwell from it, DH came home early from his trip and took DS2 last night when he woke up at 3 so I could sleep. I feel like I have a hangover today having slept so much.

Here’s hoping we all have a good day!

sol I'm so glad dh is home so you can get some rest. If not for mental health definitely for physical health being exhausted has a lot to answer for.

What are you doing with the dcs this week?

I wish I was motivated Ive been so bloody busy today I haven't had a chance to eat properly so I now I have a hunger headache 😢

Today I've eaten
1x pink lady with table spoon of peanut butter
100g strawberries
75g blueberries
50g raspberries
4 x rice cakes with 2 table spoons of reduced fat hummus
1 x carrot
1 x minestrone cup a soup

It looks a lot but it doesn't even come to 500 cals 😢

And I've only had 2 coffees I'm gasping

Hahaha me neither pom. I love them dearly but the constant bickering is so tiring. How was your trifle?

Back to the gym tonight and I though I was going to throw up. Great spin class though. Burnt 590 cals in 45 mins. (Not bad for a fat bird)

No dinner tonight so my cal I take is just around 500 cals.

How is ds2 tonight sol?

I stinky and tired heading for a shower then bed xx

Weighed myself yesterday. Big shock!
I’m going to aim for 800cals for the rest of the week. After that I need a more sustainable plan as I have so much to lose.
It’s quite overwhelming really. I did feel sorry for myself yesterday but I’m going to be more positive from now.

Well done for yesterday, I can’t believe you managed a gym class on so few calories.

Was the trifle nice Pom? Good luck for today.

How are you Sol? I really hope you’ve got more sleep.

My children were also back to school yesterday. I’m enjoying the peace!

I think Irish schools closed later than English ones. This is only our second week off. The kids have been sent to tidy their rooms and I’m sorting out downstairs, it’s a glamorous life. We’ve a few play dates organised but not much on the agenda.

Rachey fair play to you for going to the gym, you must have been wrecked. How are you feeling today?

How’s your 800 cals going today Pom and Green? What are your menus like for the day?

I’m trying to get back in to fasting, it’s going shit as you can imagine Grin.

sol I'm feeling ok today apart from the above wake up call. I did another spin class this morning so that's another 600cals.

What is your meal plan? Im trying to stay in the 500-800 cal and have a 16hr fasting window. Which I've managed Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'm on the move alot today do I've eaten so far
Salmon sushi from boots - 182 cals
1/2 tuna sandwich (ds2 leftovers) - 156 cals

Will finish the day with vegetable crudités and hummus

Stop being so hard on yourself Rachey.

You do loads of exercise and you don’t exactly eat loads.
Could you go back to doing the Body Coach? Didn’t that work really well for you?
Or have a look at Chloe Madley’s books. If you look on Instagram you can see the results that people are having with her books.
How many steps do you do each day?
I’m sure you need to eat more.

I’m not fasting anymore. It’s just not working for me (because as soon as I slip up I binge).
I’ve calculated how many calories I need to lose 1lb per week. I’m increasing my steps and exercise.
I look rubbish, I’m tired, my hair and skin are dry and awful.
I need to get back to a healthier lifestyle and stop looking for a quick fix. I’ve so much to lose it’s just not realistic to keep on going as I am.

I’ve did my first day. Weighed everything and recorded on MFP. I’m really full (I’m so fat I can have loads of calories)
I’m going to bed now. I’ll post more tomorrow.

Green - sorry you’re finding it hard, sounds like a sustainable plan will be better for you.
Would a few treats help your motivation? We could try a new mums beauty regime (think we did this once before). Ie face mask, hair mask, body scrub .... I’ll join you. In fact might book a pedi !

Rachey - you are far too hard on yourself. 11.7 is not bad- keep going, you’ll get there.

Sol my fasting has not happened either. Too much Easter chocolate around. I’m going to try and have an 800 day today.

Oh Rachey please don’t beat yourself up. I think you need to do one day 800, one day 1300 otherwise you’re setting yourself up to fail. With all the exercise you do your body is telling you it needs more calories.

Green I’m glad you had a better day, you need to be kind to yourself too. I use a great moisturiser by Garnier called Intensive 7 days, it’s in a green bottle and you can get it in the super market, I have very very dry skin and it makes it much better. My hair is shit though, I think I need a professional to sort it out.

Enjoy your run Pom. I’m on for a beauty revamp. I bought footner last week that I’m doing tonight, I need to sort out the hooves I have for feet.

I stuck to plan but woke up 4 lbs heavier so I am stepping away from the scales. My menu today is veg soup with mini pitta and hummus and then a curry for dinner, I have masses of chickpeas for some reason and I need to start using them.

I think I ended up at 1200 yesterday.

Your menu sounded lovely Sol I might avoid scales for a week. Interested in your moisturiser, I have very dry skin too.

So this morning I did a body scrub and I'm going to file nails and do neutral polish later and a face pack. I have just started to use nip and fab glycolic night pads (5%) and they are really good, face feels much smoother. I need to invest in a good regime, I feel like I have aged a lot this year. I might try and read up, I do have some products but not sure I use correctly.

I use Aved damage remedy conditioner and it's really good, alternated with ogx coconut conditioner.

Also desperate for some clothes, the hot weekend made me realise that summer clothes are well worn and washed, I want to look more polished.
I did purchase trousers and top in M&S yesterday as interim measure.

Sorry long post, have a great Saturday all. I don't feel totally motivated but aiming to do 16/8 fast and stick to 1200 cals.

I hope everyone had a good weekend.

Wow pom you sound like you have started a great beauty regime. I used thevaldi versions of nip fab. I have noticed a difference in my skin. I'm running out though, and they are not in Aldi anymore. Apparently the Superdrug ones are really good.

What clothes have you got your eye on? I don't have style, I just wear what I like. I doubt very much I look polished or stylish 😂

sol I stock pile chickpeas too 😁 dh likes a nice chickpea, tofu and spinach curry. I used to make my own falafels but I'm getting lazy 😂

green thanks for your kind words. I don't think I can do the body coach again, it did work for me but it's so restrictive I can't do 3 months of it. It's an all or nothing diet.

I love Mfp. Sounds like a very sensible plan, im fed up of hearing the sound of my own voice talking about diets, your way of thinking sound very positive.

Had a very boozy and carb filled weekend but I'm feeling good today. I'm planning jd this week then I'm just going to be sensible.

Today -
Breakfast - 1slice of toast & tomatoes
Lunch - fruit salad containing, mango, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries
Dinner - egg salad.

I'm hoping to go to the gym tonight as dh out tomorrow night so I can't go.

Did my own spin as the instructor wasn't well. Still burnt as may cals and covered same distance. Pretty chuffed.

Lunch - chicken breast with tomatoes and 1x slice of toast
Dinner - steak and salad

Just realised I won't be able to do the full 7 days as I'm out on Sunday 😢

Pom I need to steal all your beauty tips. I have definitely aged and I’m looking in to getting a little Botox done for my birthday before I look to old for it.

Fasting did not go well yesterday but I’m back on track today. I was supposed to go for a walk before work but it’s pissing rain, I have booked a treadmill to be delivered to my house though. I’m renting it for 8 weeks to see if I will actually use it before I go and buy one. Right, I better go and do some paperwork, have a good day everyone.
