I can’t remember how many threads we’ve had now, but here’s the new one.

My plan is to go get back to 1250 calories per day using MFP and my shiny new fitness tracker. I had lost 10lbs from Nov-Dec this way and found it manageable. However, I won’t be starting until Jan 1st as I’ve a few parties and stuff on (and it wouldn’t be a well thought out plan if I didn’t procrastinate about starting).

My goal is a holiday we’re going on at the end of March, I will need to be in a swimsuit for some of it so need to get my shit together.

I think everyone on this thread has tried every diet going so newcomers feel free to join, there’s lots of support and understanding.

Ok, exante is not for me.

I'm sticking to 5:2.

Meal plan today:
Breakfast - Greek yogurt with berries and banana
Snack - 2x satsumas
Lunch - tuna salad
Snack - cucumber
Dinner - either salad or soup?!?

Exante is hard work! Could you use the packs to do the 5:2?

I’m very ‘all or nothing too’. Unfortunately it seems to be ‘nothing’ very frequently at the moment.

I starting trying to be stricter with calories last week but we had a busy weekend with lots of meals and I seem to have gone off the rails again.

Now I’m just going to be sensible. Try to eat regularly (I skip meals then snack or binge). I’m trying to fit more walking in too.

Hi all.

Sorry to hear you’re struggling Rachey, it can be so bloody hard. Maybe healthy eating is the way to go for now, give your body a rest for a bit.

France was great, the kids had a great time and we are all knackered and recovering from a busy few days. I lost 2 lbs on holiday because we were so active so I’m hoping to build on that.

Sol - so pleased your holiday was fab. Also amazing to lose 2lbs!

I had a very social week and had loads to eat. Skipping weigh in until next Tuesday. Planning a strict week.

Hope everyone had a good Monday?

I'm armed with day 2 of jd.
Egg and grapefruit
Chicken with tomatoes and toast
Steak and salad

I have no idea how the diet works??? I'm hungry but don't feel deprived.

Hope it last all week, I'm away at the weekend so no idea how I will continue the diet. I also will be missing the gym 😢

Anyone got any nice plans for the holidays?

I had 1000 cals yesterday.
Aiming for a double fast Wed/Thurs.

No firm plans, maybe Cornwall. How about you?

I've had a constant headache since Monday, not sure if it's the diet???

Day 3 here -
Breakfast - Egg and grapefruit
Lunch - fruit salad (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and mango)
Dinner - 2x lamb steaks with salad

Need to lose two stone by the summer.

pom Cornwall sounds lovely, I hope the weather is good for you. We are off to Brighton then Kent. I'm going to find it hard being disciplined

Really struggled this week, it’s been so busy and I’ve been grabbing food on the go which means it’s crap.

How is JD going Rachey? You might be getting a headache from not having sugar, have you taken paracetamol or anything?

Pom you sound like you’re doing great. How many cals are you having on fast days?

I need a kick up the arse. Will try harder today.

Morning sol,

It's so tough when life is busy and we don't have time to prep and organise. My issue is will power, I prep everything but I then pig out on other stuff.

Day 4 today plan is,

Breakfast - 1 slice of dry toast
Lunch - fruit salad (same as yesterday)
Dinner - egg salad

Off to the gym this morning spin class, I want to do circuits but ds2 is getting very mischievous in the crèche and it's unfair to keep him there for 2 hours.

Phew what a day. I'm glad to be in bed.
Day 4 completed - I did have half a slice of toast extra 😳

I did do my spin class and I also did the circuit class. Totally exhausted afterwards mind.

How is everyone else getting on?

Welcome handsoff your weight loss is amazing ! Agree re summer. That's my aim too.

Sorry you've had a tough week Sol I've struggled to fast bit been under 1500 cals all week. I'm going to aim for 800 cal fast days and actually do them next week.. Mon and Wed. Want to join me???
Sounds like you are doing great Rachey wish I was 11 stone 3 ! I think I'm around 11.6. By next week you will probably be in 10's, keep going !

How are you Green ? Only 2 weeks until Easter, I'd like to have a strict 2 weeks so can have a few treats Easter weekend.

👋 @Handsoffmysweets welcome. I'm loving the idea of intermittent fasting. Will be tough as I have works drinks on Wednesday night. Is it just a 6hr window? I might go for 1 - 7 or does that not work?

I'm not usually this bad, I was 9st 6 last summer but I'm a complete yo yo dieter. Always have been 😓
