Autumn it's BOGOF on Blind Blimps today! Two for the price of one! Unless your ass is the same size as mine...then it's more like five for the price of one! 🤣🤣🤣

PrivateCello · 08/01/2019 11:03

Would anyone like to share their meal plan for today?

I don't eat breakfast, never done as can't face food early in the morning except during pregnancies!

Breakfast - copious amount of tea and coffee with milk and cream, no sugar
Lunch - seeded baton with salad and fried egg, diet coke
Dinner - chilli with rice, green vegs, seeded cheese cracker with cheese, plus picking from the toddler and baby's food.
2 litres of water.

PrivateCello · 08/01/2019 11:03

Oh I forgot the apple and banana at lunch.

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 11:06

Breakfast- fuck that!

Lunch- hoummous with a fuckload of dippy veg

Dinner- Lentil and Tomato soup.

Pinkroseuk · 08/01/2019 11:17

Beeakfast - 1 slice whole meal toast with butter
Lunch - yoghurt (usually with banana but run out)
Dinner - 1 seeded wholemal wrap with salad, raw carrots. And chicken with big mayo and about 5 homemade potatoe wedges
Possible some cheese and crackers after if I've done enough exercise and feeling peckish

PinkHeart5914 · 08/01/2019 11:17

Morning all

Well done on all the losses Star I’m only weighing once a fortnight, Will weigh in next week.

Today for me PrivateCello
Breakfast was porridge with blueberries & raspberries. Black coffee (no sugar)
Lunch will be a chicken salad sandwich on seeded bread, few multigrain sweet chilli crisps and whatever mini Mcvitites gingerbread men the dc don’t eat!
Dinner is going to be veg (mushroom, pepper, spring onion, chickpea) enchiladas with spinach and watercress
I don’t snack
Lots of sparkling water, diet cola and black coffee during the day

I haven’t been on my exercise bike this morning as I have a banging head ache and can’t face exercise today. I haven’t had any wine for days so why the head ache

PrivateCello · 08/01/2019 11:27

What I don't have at breakfast, I more than make up for it during the day Grin. Picking from the kids' food must be a meal in itself for me!
Oh everyones' menu sounds good. Hope you feel better soon Pink

Breakfast - porridge and strawberries
Lunch - mixed bean / lentils with rocket, pepper and apple salad
Dinner - steamed or airfried potatoes. Might do some stirfry veg too, depending on how hungry I am

Mint tea and water for drinks

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 13:58

I'm in the middle of cooking an adaptation of the Dhal Tulip posted the recipe for the other day.

One of the best things about this overhaul, is that I've been making meals just for me. I can therefore chuck a fuckload of chilli powder and other stuff into something, and not have to worry about it burning everyone else's mouths!

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 14:27

Non-scale Mini Goal:

I've just realized that, for the first time I started this, I'm in the kitchen alone...

And I actually forgot the crisp cupboard was even there!!!!!

I'm not even tempted!!!!

Elmashbu · 08/01/2019 17:38

So I've been catching up (been back at work) - well done on everyone's weight loss. Im doing fortnightly weighins due to my scales being broken. I swear I didn't throw them against a wall in a rage.

Food today has stayed under my 1400 target
Breakfast go ahead bar
Dinner sweet potatoes and carrot soup
Tea slamon fishcake and salad
Snacks 2 morrocan falafel and. Goodies yoghurt as my treat.

How do people calorie plot cups of tea? I am a tea fiend trying not to be. Mfp says 50 Cal's a cup. Is that right? Then add milk Cal's? Help!!! I don't know how I will reduce to two a day (from about 10) Shock

StealthNinjaMum · 08/01/2019 17:40

Possibly tmi but I have realised that despite eating next to nothing (divorce diet) I am bloated and constipated. A skirt that was nice fitting on me at the weekend is tight today. That's annoying, not sure I've ever suffered from that before so will have a big salad for dinner and google more stuff to buy. Might have tinned prunes in the cupboard? (Feel like a 1970s housewife saying that).

StealthNinjaMum · 08/01/2019 17:42

I always assumed tea is 0 calories and it's the milk that has them? I'm not a big tea drinker so I tend to just have herbal tea which I always assumed has 0 calories.

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 17:50

The calories in black tea is negligible.

Sugar adds 15 calories a teaspoon, and milk, if I remember rightly, adds about 20.

PinkHeart5914 · 08/01/2019 18:10

Black tea & coffee I don’t even count as the calories are low but if you have sugar? As fridgeTooFar says that’s 20 calories a teaspoon and milk well it depends what type you use and how milky you have it. So if you used say blue top milk and had it really milky calories could soon add up.

Could you put milk for you tea in a measuring jug and that way you calories count the milk used? And scan you tea barcode in to my fitness pal

Elmashbu · 08/01/2019 18:15

I'm using skimmed milk and I don't take sugar. Gonna not stress too much on it but try to replace some of my tea with water

SusanWalker · 08/01/2019 18:17

Breakfast: two slices of weightwatchers Danish malted toast with low fat pate and a milky coffee made with skimmed milk.

Lunch: chicken and vegetable pizza wrap.

Dinner: chicken and vegetable stir fry rice.

Snack: the chocolate out of the half a pain au chocolat left by dd at breakfast. Blush

Back on track though.

FancyDrew · 08/01/2019 18:18

I'm not going to drink this month to help kickstart my weight loss, but I keep forgetting. I've been working really hard today to meet a deadline and I keep thinking I'll nip out and buy a bottle of wine later to reward myself. Then I remember. Then, a bit later, I think I'll nip out and buy a bottle of wine later to reward myself. Then I remember, again. And so on. It's driving me mad!

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 18:31

Well the dhal turned out to be yummy!

But...I only used 280g of red lentils in it, and there's enough for eight of my sized portions!

Fine with me- I could eat it for every meal! 😀

Pinkroseuk · 08/01/2019 18:33

Just making chicken wraps for tea- my favourite- hubby has them with chips and extra veg! (Oh and twice as many wraps!) done 20 mins without stopping on exercise bike at 13mph- a personal best for me so pleased about that :)
Spoke to a friend today and she said the weight gain could be as I'm not eating enough?! I think more likely as you suggested muscle weighing more 🤞

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 18:36

I've got a craving for wraps now!

Pinkroseuk · 08/01/2019 18:41

@AFridgeTooFar there's some spare if you want them!

AFridgeTooFar · 08/01/2019 18:48

I've scheduled in a Veggie subway for next Wednesday...

A "massive" 230 calories!

I can't believe that this counts as a treat now! I'd shove two in my mouth without thinking, just two weeks ago!
