Shall we start this new thread with weight lost? Sure! It's always good to start on a motivational note. So, please, briefly post your loses to date, and if you wouldn't mind, include the amount of time, so far...

ya! a new thread!

I didn't know it was a problem. She did fill out a medical form she only asked if i was breastfeeding. She did ask me my childrens ages (not with the medical questionaire) as she commented on how close in age they were.

To be honest now I have started unless I start to experience abnormal side effects I don't really want to stop and have to start it all again a couple of weeks down the road

Dabbles · 20/06/2007 18:24

hi! day 3, nearly over... very hungry today adn my hand blender broke, so i had to make a 'hot choc with a spoon ful of cooffee for dinner, - had lumps in it, not yummy, :-(

need to get a blender very soon! am enious of all your flavours! on Lipotrim only get 4, strawberry , chocholate, vanilla and chicken soup...

IrishLady · 20/06/2007 19:06

I did the Lipo myself for a while .. couldn't tolerate the chicken soup .. was rotten .. then started to dislike the rest of the shakes .. then decided Cambridge was the way forward for me .... the secret is to drink them fast .. think of them as thin medicine!!!

MunkiBaby · 21/06/2007 13:50

just a quickie...
tried the cappuccino this morning, added loads of ice plus 2 scoops of instant coffeeeee....yummm!

then lunch rolled around...and i attempted to swallow down oriental chili.... yuk!! when i got to the bottom of the soup, i nearly gagged on the the tiny chunks .eewww..and to thin i have 1 or 2 more of those left to consume before my next purchase....oh lordy...yuk...

And even though you dont usually start with the bars until after 2 weeks ((the mousse is at anytime i think), you are going to be SOOOOO pleased with all the variety and flavour options...

well went to see cdc and she explained it all - hope i can stick to it this time round - got all shakes as i couldnt stomach the soups last time, and also some mix a mousse power which did not work, does anyone else use this and had any success?

yummymummy327 · 23/06/2007 20:21

Hi Ladies

What a week! I hope everyone is doing great. Not doing to bad but have to admit I am craving a curry and going shopping for food was terrible! I have really gone off the soups now and am just on the shakes but overall I'm still doing it

Dabbles~ welcome to the CD side hehe

Munki~ great news about the pounds coming off

Ginger~ The mix a mousse is great! but the key to mixing it up right is a 600 watt hand held blender TRUST me on this one

Anyways I'm off to have pint....of water that is hehe

yummymummy327 · 23/06/2007 20:24

Ginger~ CLICK HERE for the food recipes. It tells you how to make the perfect mousse, and it IS perfect YUMMY!!!

MunkiBaby · 23/06/2007 22:02

ha! yummy, you beat me to it, i was just about to post ginger that minimins link. i was looking thru it earlier...im sure that at some point, i'll have to try some of them. but man, i cant imagine using a whole pack for one little muffin...AS ONE MEAL! yikes! but again, i'm sure the sense of chewing would be worth more than anything at some point along the way, right?!?

i have yet to get the mousse..i think i may order it when i see my CDC next. Ginger will you let me know how the next attempt goes for you??

dabbles, let us know how you find the diet through the first week.

gingernutlover · 24/06/2007 13:26

well tried the mousse again using watert that had been in the freezer for about 1 hour - so very cold, and wizzed it with my blender, it was thick and sweet, wonder if i use my handheld electric whisk thing i could get it a bit light - but it was fine, cant say i'd want one evryday.

dh has the bars once a day and tried the caramel one - he didnt like it, i tried a bit and it was kinda like a cadburys fudge bar but softer and chewier, if you sue your imagination!

thnks for the recipes btw am scared to try them incase i waste a pack, have only got just enough for the week

fussymummy · 24/06/2007 14:38

Just thought i'd pop in and say hi to everyone.
Can't believe how many new people on here.
Well done to you all for joining.

I started the diet in january and have lost 48lb.
I've gone down 3 sizes in clothes and last time i measured myself i'd lost 26" from all over,

Have been struggling the last few weeks but i won't be beaten.

I'm keeping at it as best as i can as i still have tons of weight to lose.

GOOD LUCK to all of you.

If you haven't yet measured yourself, then do it today!!!

MunkiBaby · 24/06/2007 16:30

hiya fussy! havent seen you here in a while...i'm glad that you are still trying, but a HIGE well done for losing what you already have...48!! wow, i'd love to be 48 pounds lighter. and i know i will. some time in the next 6 months, hopefully!

well, i weighed myself again this morning...((official weigh date will be tomorrow seeing as i started last monday)). so far, i've lost 1 whole stone...IN A WEEK!!!! i cannot flippin believe it! i do know it wont keep going this fast however, i'm still very much ok with losing 3-4 a week! thats still more than i would lose in a week wit SW or WW...

ginger~ it sounds like the mousse thingy went alright the 2nd time around. As with the mousse and with the other recipes, im so very afraid of mucking it up and losing a sachet/meal so i'lll have to wait until im incredibly desperate for something solid... and i'm sure that day will come at some point...

Well just come home from weigh in and its another 5 pound loss!
Takes my total loss to 2 stones
Only a stone away from my initial target of 3 stones, may be reviewing that soon though!!

CayKon · 24/06/2007 19:40

spooky how long has it taken to loose 2 stone as I too have only 3 stone to loose, been doing it a week only looks like i've lost about 4 lbs though. not as good the rest on here. But I havent been going to the toilet so cdc gave me some fibre stuff, and I haven't cheated so a bit dissapointing as I lost 22lbs in 10 weeks at sw expected more with this

gingernutlover · 24/06/2007 19:43

caykon, i was going to ask the same, thing is i am on day 2 and starving, already cleaned out 3 litchen cupboards and spent ages putting dd to bed to distract from food but I really hope its gonna be worth it.

My cdc assured me that in 12 weeks I WILL lose 3 stones - so i just keep clinging on to that, i teach at primary school and I would just love to go back in sept and all the children say, wow Mrs you look great!

SpookyMadMummy · 24/06/2007 20:34

Hi ladies
I have been on CD since 14th may, so that was the 6th weigh in for me. I lost a stone in 2 weeks at the start. I did an add a meal week and found it hard. I only lost a pound then but I was a bit naughty

michaelad · 24/06/2007 20:42

Hi everyone! whow..lots of new faces here..great. Well, have just come back from my hols in Cornwall and aim to go back on CD tomorrow or Tuesday. So, I'll be rejoining the gang again soon since I still have another 2 stone to go.. (at least)

Well done for all the losses everybody!

How are you finding it so far, Munki?

yummymummy327 · 24/06/2007 20:57

Hi Ladies!

Weighed myself this morning and Im 1 lb shy from losing a stone. I don't have any offical weigh ins just yet as my cdc yet as shes on holiday and I won't see her until the 6th... my problem is Im running out of packet and I've tried to call/email some other cdc and no one has gotten back to me, so I may be in trouble here. Munki thats great about a stone lost WOO HOO! Go you!

Catch ya ladies later!

OH BTW Hello fussymummy and michealad I think more the better on these threads

southeastastra · 24/06/2007 20:58

i have to just say, your thread title is very nice best i've seen in ages

yummymummy327 · 24/06/2007 21:17

yep that would be Munkis great work

gingernutlover · 24/06/2007 21:40

yummymummy

you can buy the packs on ebay but the price is inflated and this is not really allowed, but might be an option if no cdc's get back to you
