Would any of you ladies like to join me on my journey to lose three stone? Starting tomorrow Grin

2 coffees, a can of Diet Coke, 2 glasses of wine and 2 sausages. Seriously! I have got to start eating better!!! Work is just so crazy that I go from waking to 6pm on coffee alone. Actually got black spots and dizziness when I stood up to go home today so I reckon that's a bit of a sign that I make time for solid food during the day :(

Froglady99 · 25/09/2018 21:56

So finally braved boots to weigh in. 12 stone 13, about 2 stones overweight from where I want to be. Same weight I was at 9 months pregnant!

I’m also going to use My fitness pal to guide me. Reducing my carbs and increasing protein is the plan. Along with lots of exercise. I have been good all day!

elizabethdraper · 25/09/2018 22:03

I am 10 pound down in 10 weeks. Have another 28 to go.

I am not noticing it in my clothes yet, cause i wasn't this big last autumn. So I need some motivation. Current 12at 5lb

elizabethdraper · 25/09/2018 22:09

Today 12,000 steps (63 active minutes)

Lots of coffee and water.
Lunch -small packet crisps
Dinner 1 avocado and 2 slices of seedy chai bread.

Not great but am happy enough

Cagliostro · 25/09/2018 22:11

I may weigh in tomorrow. Eek.

Tomorrow will be hard food wise as we are out. I just need to remember not to snack!

I’m definitely a boredom eater. Thankfully we are busier now - my older two are home educated and we are settling into a more structured style now so much less time to think about food!

RosemaryTelephoneOperator · 25/09/2018 22:39

Well done everyone!
I'm keeping kind of on track.

What's working:
Sticking to my calorie limit
Going to bed early
Cut out alcohol every day but Friday

Whats not working:
Sticking to 10000 steps
Drinking 2 litres of water a day

Languageofkindness · 26/09/2018 01:07

Lunch with a friend so had a massive bowl of chicken soup, bread and crisps 🙄 and then a chocolate muffin for pudding 🙄🙄

Then had very long drive this evening and ate some salami, mozzarella and prawns from m&s service.

Not a great day....

FiveShelties · 26/09/2018 03:23

Wednesday lunchtime here and I have had two successful daysGrin

Monday 1127 Calories and 14022 steps
Tuesday 1472 Calories and 10666 steps - calories included half a bottle of wineBlush

Good Luck with the rest of the week everyone.

WhoWants2Know · 26/09/2018 07:23

Yesterday wasn't bad, but I'm starting to realise just how casually I usually grab a snack on the way through the kitchen. The constant night peeing is making me tired and headache-y, but I have three active work days to help keep me on track.

dreamdream · 26/09/2018 08:04

Morning all

We had a family get together last night and we had Chinese take out. Although it's not exactly great diet fodder, I didn't eat anything else all day and I turned down pudding.

Today I am planning to sort the garden out and not eat Chinese. Grin

I do this. Its awful.

Today js my last day off work too. I was meant to be off all week, but DPs op got cancekked last min, meaning its had to be rearranged and i need the annual leave back for when he actually does have his appointment. Luckily my work are very understanding.

Joinourclub · 26/09/2018 09:28

Sadly I had half a chocolate pudding last night as my husband bought it, and if it’s in the house I can not resist. But no snacking yesterday and no pastry for breakfast this morning! I stood on the scales yesterday and was heavier than I expected so now I’m really determined to stick to this.

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 26/09/2018 11:13

First fast day yesterday achieved - I saved my calories for dinner and just had tea with milk during the day. I got really hungry at about half past 3 but actually I was fine after that. Went for a walk in the evening (not very far, but it's better than nothing!) so I wouldn't sit still and think about hunger.

I've been reading the 5:2 threads on here and discovered that I need to be sensible on my non-fast days - I have done 5:2 in the past and failed at that! It did work the first time, but I was breastfeeding DS, so when I tried it again a couple of years later I clearly wasn't burning enough calories to make up for the noshing in between fast days. So today is a sensible day - aiming for 1700 calories.

Cagliostro · 26/09/2018 16:16

16st3! Up from last time a couple of months ago. Really struggling to get below 16. But determined I will do it!

Cagliostro · 26/09/2018 17:03

Body fat % was down though so that’s something. Not that the readings for that are especially accurate.

Anyway I knew today would be a bit of a write off as we had a lunch date and birthday party. But I’m still not going to write off the rest of the day.

I’m so much more aware of my blood sugar now and what it does to my appetite, which makes it much easier to resist. As in, I know I’m only hungry now because I had ice cream earlier. So I’ve spiked and crashed.

CaseStudyResearch · 26/09/2018 18:05

Really desperate to just order a Chinese tonight. Going to have scrambled eggs on a bagel with beans, spinach and tomatoes instead. Not quite the same!

Lucked · 26/09/2018 18:53

Non fast day. I have eaten less than intended today as an appointment overran and I missed lunch and then had to run to do school run. Not actually sure what I am having for dinner, I need to be more organised. For fast days I am buying M&S ready meals at the moment but will switch to cooking when I am in the swing of it.

Feeling positive about not eating crap, even two days is an achievement.

Hope everyone else is feeling okay today.

cricketmum84 · 26/09/2018 18:57

Not done too bad today. No breakfast, quick run to the vendor for lunch and got a bottle of Diet Coke and a wispa! Had a bite of the wispa and put it back in my drawer.

Tea at least is healthy, oven roast skinless chicken thighs with tikka seasoning with leftover slimming world friendly veg biryani. I made too much a few weeks ago and froze the rest.

Still really need to make a stand at work and actually eat lunch!!!

Bubblysqueak · 26/09/2018 19:49

Well and truly fell of the wagon with food today but did exercise so it's not all bad.
I find it always happens on my day off when I'm home alone. Must try harder next week.
Will start afresh tomorrow.

dreamdream · 26/09/2018 19:59

I've been ok today, trying to make up for last nights Chinese.

I'm feeling fairly positive, just so glad that I have at least made a start to lose the weight. Day four tomorrow, looking forward to weigh day on Monday. Just realised it's going to be the 1st of October on Monday. Where did September go? Smile

Please can I join? 15st 6, size 14 and uncomfortable in my skin! Started calorie counting today with an aim of 1500 per day!

WhoWants2Know · 26/09/2018 20:19

So being all virtuous and whatnot, I picked up a salad and protein pot from Lidl on my way home. Only to discover that they had raw red chillies in them! So on the bright side, my tongue is too sore to eat. But on the other hand, I think those chillies may not be finished with me yet.

someonekillbabyshark · 26/09/2018 20:20

Had 2 sht days! Had Chinese last night and loads of crap tonight DD on antibiotics and then fell of the sofa today and had a fit so gave up on life after all of that! Start again tomorrow Sad**

Jenniferturkington · 26/09/2018 20:32

Was doing ok today until dh just bought me some Reeses cups. Oh well, the rest of the day was still much better than normal so I’ll take that.
Off to join the gym tomorrow. I’m hoping they have a beginners yoga class.
