Can anyone recommend any decent YouTube channels/YouTubers who post exercise videos.

I'm not fussed on the sort of exercise but please no annoying American happy chappy type instructorBlush

HappyGowerGirl · 19/09/2018 08:47

Hello all, Haven’t read the whole thread as I fell spectacularly off the wagon last weekend. Am back up a pound or two to 9.7 (60.7kg). I’ve been virtuous so far this week but really aware there is another indulgent weekend ahead... Need to have some self control!!!

Mediumred · 19/09/2018 09:37

This is the 7 minute waist toning one, you are supposed to do it for seven consecutive days, which I haven’t, but it was certainly a nice little workout.

Think the YouTuber has lots of vids for different body types.

HairsprayBabe · 19/09/2018 10:36

Fell off the thread, but stayed on the wagon

9st9 as of last night after dinner

Still really need to join a gym as am starting to worry about bingo wings!

off to read back hope you are all doing well!

QuimReaper · 19/09/2018 10:56

Thanks Medium - I was looking at that last week, it does look good! I think I'll give it a go, surely even I can find 7 minutes out of my day?!

Well done Hairspray, that's great - almost back to goal aren't you?

Gower we all need to fall off the wagon once in a while, a pound or two is a very modest gain, you can kick it with another couple of golden days (and get yourself back to square one in time for this weekend Grin )

HairsprayBabe · 19/09/2018 11:19

Not getting too obsessed but I want to be about 9st for the big day, so I am about 9lbs off, which will probably take over a year to go. That would put my BMI about 20 and into the lower side of healthy.

ATM I am 21 so not too bad any way. I am so pleased that I haven't just gained a bazillion Linda's I have been very much OFF the wagon since about April.

HW in that period was 10.4 the day I got back from America.

LW this year was 9.4 I think so only 5lbs away from that little check mark. Looking forwards to being under 9.7 again!

fishonabicycle · 19/09/2018 19:08

Congratulations to you hairspray! You beautiful bride to be 💖.

QuimReaper · 20/09/2018 09:10

Hairspray I think you've done tremendously to keep your gain so modest - I reckon several months off the wagon would see me catapult much worse than you! I suppose your habits have really changed from being at this Slenderista thing for so long, it goes to show you don't really need to think too hard about maintaining, which is great. You seem to lose very quickly, so I think getting within range of 9 stone is a fair target. Any idea how long you've got, roughly?

My ankle is nagging at me again - think I've been a bit overenthusiastic with the walking the last few days Sad

HairsprayBabe · 20/09/2018 09:46

I hope I will hit LW at the start of Dec. but then a month of mulled things and pastry will ensue and I will bob up to 9.10 ish again.

so end of Feb I hope to have lost any Christmas gain and then it will be full steam ahead for the last 4/5 lbs.

So maybe May/June time.

I think because I came off wagon unconsciously, less WOOOOOOOOOO no diets FOOD!! More Oh, I havnt really tracked what I have eaten today... weird! I haven't been gorging all day every day, just not tracking.

Toadsrevisited · 20/09/2018 21:07

Second weigh in on SW tonight and lost another 3LB. Didn't stay for the the Group Misery.) Down to 11.3 now with three weeks of Countdown membership paid for. Think I'm finally getting used to snacking less at night and drinking lots of diet tonic in the evening. Am starting to dream about cheese though! How's everyone else getting on?

bloopitybloop · 21/09/2018 11:35

Ugh weighed in today and have gained back a pound - no idea how! I have been down with a cold and asthma flare up so am going to give that up as a weird blip and see how Sunday looks ! I seem to be losing then vajning the same damn pound !!

QuimReaper · 21/09/2018 12:56

Toads have you cut out cheese?! That's hardcore! Have you thought about joining the Babybel Crew for your fix? Grin Well done on the weigh-in, that's fantastic.

bloop you're in the same boat that Quant was a few days ago - colds make you hang on to fluid like buggery, don't worry about it. Hope you feel better though, there must be something going around.

I didn't manage to weigh in this morning as I was rudely awoken by panicked neighbour who had been jumped by a bunch of gutter-cleaners who needed access to the back of the property, and I was drinking coffee before I remembered it was weigh-in day. Oops. I've been a bit rubbish this week anyway and look like a pot-bellied pig, so possibly a good thing...

bloopitybloop · 22/09/2018 11:08

Weighed in again this morning and
300 gms lower than yesterday so hopefully the cold gained weight is rolling off. Still
Above where I was hoping to be.

But as I was logging into MFP today I saw this and thought if I could lose all that -
I can shed the rest.

Come and lose 7lbs in Slendertember - watch the weight fall off like autumn leaves from the trees!

That’s incredible Bloopity! Well done!

Quim hope you’ve been able to rest your ankle this weekend.

I weighed in on Friday at 9 stone 2, so I’ve gained a pound in the last week. Where is my post AF whoosh?? I wanted to hit 9 stone by the end of the month but that is going to be a bit tricky now! I also went slightly off the rails on Friday and Saturday but I’m working today so it should be fairly golden. Lots of steps in any case!

bloopitybloop · 23/09/2018 10:51

@Kokoloco that took a year - the first 8 or 9 cane off quite quickly if I recall.

Weighed in today and have gained back the 300 gms I thought I had lost but had also not slept the night due to asthma kicking my ass.

I am going to not weigh myself a week now but continue with the healthy eating and steps and hope it shows in the scale once the cold and asthma are out of the way.

poorpaws · 23/09/2018 15:36

Isn’t the big C word 13 weeks on Tuesday? Definitely starting AGAIN tomorrow as I just can’t carry on like this. Will need a ton of willpower and help but I really have to do something soon. I need a loss on those scales next week. Anyone up for an angel week with me? (Thinking lots of soup maybe).

bloopitybloop · 23/09/2018 15:51

@poorpaws I am wirh you (from
Tomorrow ) have just ordered Indian takeaway for tonight as the crappy weather demanded it 😂

I need comfort food tonight and so does my family - from tomorrow for a week I shall have any angel face on

poorpaws · 23/09/2018 16:02

Yay Boopity a little bit of friendly competition, let’s do our very best 😇. Anyone else? Definitely starting tomorrow though as have an unhealthy evening meal planned too.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 23/09/2018 16:12

What does an angel week involve then?

bloopitybloop · 23/09/2018 17:26

For me it’s going to be less carbs , more
Protein / eating healthy at regular intervals , laying off the fizzy drinks (always my downfall) loads of water and around 100-1200 Calories a day.
Oh and 12000 steps a day.

poorpaws · 23/09/2018 20:37

An angel week involves anything you like to lose weight, just being an angel with food and exercise to lose a little more than normal.

KickBishopBrennanUpTheArse · 23/09/2018 23:13

I need to sort out my eating this week so I'll join you.

My return to running has not been positive for my appetite. I seem to have added a couple of extra meals into my daily routine Blush

If I can get back to three meals a day it'll be progress. No major upsets on the scales yet but I feel sluggish and horrible. It starts tomorrow.Halo

Peridot1 · 24/09/2018 08:37

Hi all!

I’ve been off track a bit for the last four days or so and was away for the weekend at a university open day in Edinburgh with DS. Didn’t go mad but def ate the wrong things (although made a point of only eating half of everything) and had wine. Not loads but a glass with lunch and dinner. Lots of walking done which was good.

Weighed this morning and I’m marginally down on last weeks weight by .3 of a pound. So a pretty good result really all things considered but I didn’t lose the two pounds I wanted.

And I have woken up with a sodding urine infection so feeling rubbish and am back in bed rather than going for my walk.

I’m definitely up for an angel week this week. A friend does a health and well-being blog and she has challenged a fruit and veg re-set day some time this week. So I think I’ll do that on Wednesday. Basically just consume fruit and veg for 24 hours - no caffeine, wheat, protein, sugar etc.

I’m also thinking of trying the Blood Sugar Diet. Really want to lose a stone by mid Nov. Need a boost.

Poorpaws - how are things with your house? Hope it’s all getting sorted?
