Weighed myself and I have GAINED weight! Gained a whole kilos! No idea where it came from as I have had an angel week other than the takeout on Friday night which again I kept healthy by not having the rice or naan and instead eating a curry :(

Net loss in Sept is 1 kilo - ugh.

Morning everyone!

Thanks for the advice about the BSD, I’m going to give it a go. Luckily my blood sugar is fine, I’m just hoping it might give my weight loss a bit of a boost if I follow it for a few weeks. Starting tomorrow!

Well done on the bonus Bloopity! Shame about the weight gain, but it sounds like it’s water weight. I don’t think it’d be possible to gain a whole kilo of fat in such a short amount of time, and especially not after an angel week. I’m sure it’ll be back off in no time!

I just turn into a spotty neurotic butterball that made me laugh, I’m exactly the same Grin In fact my weight gain only really started when I qualified in my job and started working long hours under a lot of pressure. Bloody stress hormones!

I weighed myself this morning too, and I’m unchanged at 9 stone 2.5lbs. So weight loss for September is a fairly pitiful 1.5lbs. Still, a loss is a loss!

I have gone completely off track. Lots of bread. Takeaway curry on Friday night. Lots of wine. Generally been rubbish! No walk.

Taking it as a needed break. Not beating myself up. Back on it tomorrow. Not sure I can start BSD as am going to stay with MIL on Tuesday for a few days. I can stick to plan otherwise though. Will be eating out a lot i suspect so will be sensible. Will take healthy breakfast options rather than just having toast. And will be taking my trainers to go for walks.

Can’t believe today is last day of September. Fairly annoyed that I haven’t lost more weight though. I NEED to be better in October.

ponygirlcurtis · 30/09/2018 11:11

A loss is a loss - my total is similar but it is the downward trend that I am pleased about, regardless of how much. bloopity I agree on it being water weight and not a true gain. It will vanish as quickly as it appeared, I bet.

No October thread started yet. Any ideas for titles? Something like 'Join us for a spooky disappearance of 7lb in October'? I am happy to start it tomorrow if no-one else gets there first.

Well after an angel week and doing between 20,000 to 25,000 steps every single day (and being totally knackered) i’ve lost all of 1 1/4 pounds! I know a loss is a loss but for goodness sake I expected at least 3 to 4 pounds. No more angel weeks for me for a while, they just don’t work and I’m not playing.

Good luck for very good losses in October for everyone.

Sorry I've been AWOL. Hectic start to oder sprog's first term at school plus baby who refuses to sleep at night...

Finished my six week SW countdown at 10.11 which I am pleased with, having lost 13lbs. A whole stone would be have been nice! Really missed cheese and booze, although had a couple in the last week and it didn't seem to make a big difference.

Can't face going back to the dismal SW group but going to to try to keep up the eating plan plus lots of walking and aim for 10st whenever I finish breastfeeding DS (6 months more maybe?) Thanks for the encouragement @quimreaper and everyone else!

Toads 13lbs in six weeks is AMAZING you hero! Shock I could not physically go six weeks without cheese. I think I would actually develop withdrawal symptoms.

Come and join us on the October thread!
