Weigh in in the morning and do your best for 5 weeks and the final weigh in will be 1st October. Winner gets a cake crown and to feel proud.

Anyone?

Me. Can we start tomorrow?

Butternutissquashed · 27/08/2018 07:04

Me!! I’ve just got out of bed and my knees and hips are so sore. A couple of stone off is long overdue!

Grasslands · 27/08/2018 07:15

Yup, count me in I need help!!

Startoftheyear2018 · 27/08/2018 07:38

Definitely in. I have a family wedding coming up and would love to get motivation from you guys. Good luck all!

chalkyc2 · 27/08/2018 07:58

Me. I need longer than 5 weeks given how much I need to lose but it would be a start, right?
I'm on hols but can weigh in tomo morning...

Myusername2015 · 27/08/2018 08:01

Me! I’m disgusted with my weight gain recently. Good luck all; what plans are people following?

CringeFactor · 27/08/2018 08:52

Yes chalky I need a lot longer too but figured this would be a kickstart! Judging by my prev record it would take approx 27years otherwise! Grin

I’m in. Off to weigh myself now. I lost about 7 pounds earlier this year by have put it all back on over the summer holidays, I’m sure!
Started on Fitness Pal again yesterday.

MonkeysMummy17 · 27/08/2018 09:17

Can I join? I'm at a hen do on the 6th October, so this would give me something to aim for before the do.
I've got about 2.5 stone to lose and its taking forever to come off this time round!

Nuffaluff · 27/08/2018 09:20

Okay, so I weighed myself and haven’t put it all back on, but I want to lose half a stone.

123fushia · 27/08/2018 09:24

I’m in please.

minimalist99 · 27/08/2018 10:23

I am in... i have about 5 stone to loose but I am determined to actually start this time.

StarWish1 · 27/08/2018 11:13

I’m in - still carrying baby weight. The long term goal is to lose 1 stone but 1/2 stone by Oct would make me feel so much better (still quite a challenge though as I seem to only be able to shift 1lb a week at the moment and then I have a bad weekend and put 4lbs back on 😔)

Startoftheyear2018 · 27/08/2018 13:49

I've weighed myself and it wasn't as awful as I expected. I'd like to lose 7lbs. I'm relying on you guys to help me! Breakfast and lunch were good. Onwards and upwards!

Grasslands · 27/08/2018 16:53

I started the year over 180, my goal was 160 by December but reached 155 in July.
August stress and stupid food choices has me at 159.9!!! I’m hoping to reverse the upward trend and inch closer to 135 (normal BMI for 5’3”)
I’m following my own diet and trying to exercise regularly.

DunesOfSand · 27/08/2018 17:00

I'm hopeless at losing weight.
Need to shift the 4kg of holiday weight.
Could do with shifting another 4 kg after that.
And 4kg after that would be the icing on the cake.

What are you all doing?

So, 5weeks, 4kg. Doable???

thetwinkletoescollective · 27/08/2018 20:36

Me I started today for the billionth time.

I am starting today at 9 stone 12

CringeFactor · 28/08/2018 06:46

Right then, has everyone weighed and got the starting weight? I'm trying to decide if I should be geeky and put them in a spreadsheet

What's everyone's plan of attack?

@Grasslands that's an amazing loss so far!

OP posts:
Nuffaluff · 28/08/2018 07:42

Yes, I’m 10 stone 1 lb, and I’m planning on weighing myself twice a week

Electrack · 28/08/2018 08:42

I’m 14s 9lb and I’m 5ft 4. I don’t actually look the rectangle of granite that those stats might suggest, the lightest I’ve been is 10st 7lb and I was a size 10 then. But I do look awful. My goal is to lose 2 stone. My biggest challenge is to cut back on booze. Good luck everyone Flowers

Electrack · 28/08/2018 08:43

Cringe if it’s not too much trouble, could you list them in a spreadsheet? It will help motivate me knowing I have to come and tell you Smile

Nuffaluff · 28/08/2018 10:04

My plan of attack is just eating healthily with no binging. I’m using MFP. And being held accountable here will hopefully help me not to slip off this time.
My weakness is stress and boredom. I tend to eat healthily in the morning and then I attack the biscuits and cake at about 4pm when the kids are stressing me out.

Gymntonic · 28/08/2018 11:35

I'm in! Can't weigh in until Monday but will be getting back on MFP and aiming for under 1500 calories. Good luck everyone

Butternutissquashed · 28/08/2018 13:54

I'm 5 foot 2 and 11 stone 4. Would like to be 9 but would be happy to get to 9.10 and a healthy BMI in the first place! Starting today on MFP.

DunesOfSand · 28/08/2018 14:00

Hmm, well today is a failure! Biscuits and an apple do not a good lunch make.....
I have got rid of 3 bags of junk (1 to charity, 2 to bin). Can i claim those as weight lost?
