Weigh in in the morning and do your best for 5 weeks and the final weigh in will be 1st October. Winner gets a cake crown and to feel proud.

Anyone?

No change for me. But I don't mind. I'm confident I'm going to stick with it and lose next week.

Grasslands · 03/09/2018 17:41

158.6. My muscle mass is increasing, and I’m back into my walking routine (I need to add in a once a week swim). Food choices better but not ideal yet.
On a really great note I’ve processed 10lbs of pears and 10 lbs plums into coffee cakes which are in the deep freeze for dh, no more testing corners for dryness...there was none ever...

Startoftheyear2018 · 04/09/2018 07:09

How's everyone doing? I had a good day yesterday and I'm feeling positive.

EthelThePiratesDaughter · 04/09/2018 08:00

9 stone 9 on the scales this morning.

Would like to drop another pound before my wedding dress fitting on Friday!

Igletpiglet · 06/09/2018 00:05

Gah! So day 2 and it turns out that Hangry is a Thing! Work gave everyone a box of chocolates today for good performance and my children are going to have to have them all..... Weeeeeeeeeep !

Grasslands · 06/09/2018 00:17

Iglet!!! That would be too hard for me to resist. I have very very limited willpower.

Startoftheyear2018 · 06/09/2018 06:19

Haha! Poor you. My supper last night was half a bottle of red wine and some olives! I was out with a friend. I would usually come home and eat loads of toast and I didn't, so I'm proud of myself! Good luck all for today.

CringeFace · 06/09/2018 10:01

I've struggled lately. But schools have finally gone back and I feel more in control now. I may have been eating shit but did 20k steps yday and scales are showing almost a lb loss from last week now that Aunt Flo has gone home. It's my birthday in a month and I want a chunk off.

Nuffaluff · 06/09/2018 16:46

I must be losing weight because I’m so hungry all. The. Time.
Don’t want to weigh myself though because my period is coming so soon I know it will have gone up.

Grasslands · 06/09/2018 17:45

I love menopause 😊...it doesn’t bloat you, make your weight fluctuate or give you insane cravings

Nuffaluff · 06/09/2018 19:01

Yes grass
Bring it on!

CringeFace · 08/09/2018 19:24

Nope still struggling...thinking of joining a gym..

Grasslands · 08/09/2018 21:24

It’s a challenge for sure. Have you joined a gym before? I’m stewing over what I perceive as a wasted morning with no where near enough steps in for this time of day :(

CringeFace · 08/09/2018 22:41

I haven't been for about 3 years But feel like at least if I scoff and gym I can do damage prevention! Grin

Startoftheyear2018 · 08/09/2018 23:17

Sounds like a good plan. I'm really focusing on steps as it helps when I hit my target. Finding it sooo hard to keep on target with calories!

Grasslands · 09/09/2018 01:28

i'm focused on my steps as well. gets me away from??? not sure what as i've done a good job of minimizing sweet treats. so i'm definitely making better food choices than july and early august. now it's more about getting the portions even better.
cringe when is the worse time for you?

CringeFace · 09/09/2018 20:34

Ok. I've gone through and added any info and it's dawned on me, I don't have a frigging clue about kg! Even googling a converter I don't get it

CringeFace · 09/09/2018 20:35

Crap pressed too soon, so there's 2 I haven't worked out the running total on Blush

CringeFace · 09/09/2018 20:37

Do we want screen shots? Or shall I just give top 3 losses each week?

Grasslands · 09/09/2018 22:03

Screen shots are nice. I loose so slowly I’m unlikely to be a top 3.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 09/09/2018 22:22

Is it too late to join? I did so well this year, lost consistently every week and went from an obscene almost 20 stone Blush to now 12.7.

But... I’ve had a rubbish few weeks of very little gym due to summer holidays with the kids and lots of cheating on holiday and ‘because it’s summer’... I’m going to Florida on October 9th and have this huge fear that I’m not going to fit into rollercoasters! I don’t know what’s achievable in 30ish days, but I’m going to go for it as hard as I can... try to gym at least 5 days a week and cut out carbs and sugar!

DunesOfSand · 10/09/2018 04:28

Bah. I knew what was coming, but i need a boot up the bum. Too much snacking. 0 loss this week.

Kg to lb - work out the kg loss, and multiply it by 2.2 to get pounds.

eltsihT · 10/09/2018 06:58

Starting weight 70.9kg - 11 st 2lb
Week 1 weight 70.1 kg - 11 st
This mornings weight 69.1kg - 10st 12lb

I will post in both if that helps.

I have a hard week ahead. DH is away with work all week and my period is due... both of these things will make it really hard to stick to not snacking

Westwing1 · 10/09/2018 08:57

No change here, 9st 1 lb, happy to have maintained, haven't been strict, will try a bit harder this week.

Grasslands · 10/09/2018 17:13

Down a bit 157.7 I’m really pleased with this. My goal is a slow and steady decrease. I expect to be in the 157 range for 2 weeks.
