Weigh in in the morning and do your best for 5 weeks and the final weigh in will be 1st October. Winner gets a cake crown and to feel proud.

Anyone?

Monday's good for me. I was angelic and perfect yesterday, which was lucky as tues and weds were write offs. Afternoons and alcohol are my weak points. I'm travelling to work with a pile of chopped raw carrots and some kale salad - hope today goes well!

Dancer12345 · 31/08/2018 12:55

Haha CringeFactor! I’m ok in the mornings, it’s that mid-afternoon slump and post-dinner sugar-fix-need that get me!

I did ok yesterday and was feeling quite proud. Then today my parents have just called by and they’d been the the bakery so brought me my favourite chocolate cake. Oops. If I eat an apple as well it cancels it out, right?!

Ethiopianflower · 01/09/2018 21:12

Monday weigh insounds good. I think I have worms - I cannot stop eating today and carrots and apples just ain’t cutting it!!!!

Ethiopianflower · 01/09/2018 21:14

Only joking 🐛 although my appetite is just savage

Startoftheyear2018 · 01/09/2018 21:32

How's everyone doing?

EthelThePiratesDaughter · 01/09/2018 21:44

Down 3lbs!

Nuffaluff · 02/09/2018 14:45

I’m doing ok thanks to you lot and MFP. Just thinking about having to tell you my weight tomorrow is giving me the extra bit of motivation I need. Smile
We are at my parents’ house this weekend until Tuesday. There are a lot of cakes, puddings and chocolate on offer! I’m having some, but hopefully not too much. Probably won’t lose loads because of that though!

CringeFactor · 02/09/2018 19:40

I need to do a rethink, do amazing mon to fri but totally messed up over weekend. Kicking myself at the thought of weighing Tomo!

Ps namechanged as X factor has started and it's too close for my liking Grin

PersisFord · 02/09/2018 21:44

Guys can I join you? I’m a bit miserable, just really struggling in the evenings as DH has been working away and I’ve got in the ridiculous habit of just eating LOADS of shit. Loads. I don’t even enjoy it.

Starting weight is 67kg. I’m going to bed now but will catch up fully tomorrow evening INSTEAD OF EATING Angry I am so cross with myself!!

Startoftheyear2018 · 02/09/2018 22:37

Hey cringe try and see the diet as limiting calories over a few days rather than one. Then you might not beat yourself up if you have a bad day as you can balance the calories over (say) three or four.

DunesOfSand · 03/09/2018 04:42

Hmmm, guess I'm going to be the first weigh in, given I hope the rest of you are still sleeping!
Down a pound. Which given the PMT induced munchies of the past couple of days is ok by me. I usually put on weight this week, so if the normal 2lb falls off soon, I will be a very happy bunny. I can dream!

Ready to hit the pool as soon add these kids are on the school bus.

Igletpiglet · 03/09/2018 05:42

I know i’m A little bit late but please Can I be late to the cake free party?
I have never done this Before. I have no will power.
I would like to drop a dress siZe on my arse, And i’m 8 stone 13.
I promise not to drink any booze in the week and no cheese. No cheese at all. And no finishing off kids meals. Updateing mfp now. Thankyou xx Flowers

Igletpiglet · 03/09/2018 05:56

Ps does anyone know how to get rid of pin password in the mfp
App?
I logged into mfp webpage, the help says go to settings but I don’t see anything there that would do it. Thanks.

everyonesmom · 03/09/2018 06:03

Lost 3lbs, thrilled although not found it easy. Pretty much stuck to 1200 calories and ate in an eight hour window of 12noon till 8pm (other than a cup of tea first thing).

PersisFord · 03/09/2018 06:59

Ok, I’m 66.5 this morning (down 500g from last night) which is presumably because my tummy and bladder are empty!). So that can be my starting point instead.

Well done weight losers!

CringeFace · 03/09/2018 07:13

Well, I'm feeling hopeful as it's lady time and don't feel I've eaten enough to explain the gain (+3lb from fri) so hopefully it will drop back down. Forgot to charge phone so will check this afternoon and start doing the spreadsheet, good luck if u haven't weighed yet

eltsihT · 03/09/2018 07:51

70.1 kg this morning, down from 70.9 kg.

Ethiopianflower · 03/09/2018 08:03

Just ventured onto the scales and I have lost a pound. Happy with that. Good luck to everyone with the weigh in and well done one and all for giving this all a go.

Nuffaluff · 03/09/2018 08:10

Just weighed myself and I am 9 stone 13 lb. I’ve lost two pounds.
cringe
I’m due my period next week and I fully expect my weight to go up. Apparently your weight goes up when you are having your period and around ovulation. The best time to weigh yourself is just after your period finishes.

Westwing1 · 03/09/2018 08:23

9st 1 lb (lost 6 lbs), I was very strict all week, 800 kc, no alcohol, exercised twice and was flat out busy. Happy to just maintain this for a week. What I don't want to do is put it all back on as quickly as I lost it. Good luck everyone.

RitaMills · 03/09/2018 08:25

9st 7 so 3lbs off. I’m really happy with that considering I wasn’t too great at the weekend, went out for Chinese for dinner and DS and I sat munching popcorn and skittles watching a movie. I was so good during the week though so it’s good to know that if I’m disciplined during the week I can have that little blowout at the weekend. Hopefully we’ll all see results today. 🤞🏻

StarWish1 · 03/09/2018 09:45

So many losses already! Very inspiring Smile I’ve stayed the same but I’m not surprised as I drank wine and ate chocolate most evenings. Glad it’s not a gain to be honest. Need to really get focused now Blush

Dancer12345 · 03/09/2018 10:36

I’ve lost a pound, which I’m pleasantly surprised by! I’ve eaten chocolate and cake on a few occasions, but have also resisted a couple of times. So, a bit of a half-hearted week from me but I’m happy with a pound!

Well done everyone! Despite us wanting to lose weight, life is also for living so don’t beat yourself up over some chocolate or a takeaway.

Westwing1 6 lbs?! Shock That’s amazing! Well done! I know there’s no way I could keep to 800 cals - I’d starve!

Westwing1 · 03/09/2018 12:50

Thanks Dancer. I've been cutting back since 1st Jan. Feel really well, not starving Grin. Age 51, hitting menopause, gained 2 stone and realised I was no longer able to eat what I liked. I now eat foil wrapped roasted fish, 4 types of veg most days, sirloin steak, puy lentils, eggs and tonnes of green veg which have practically no calories. Problem is if I have a plate of pasta, toast, couple of glasses of wine or roast pots I can gain 3 lbs overnight. I don't have a sweet tooth, no interest in cake or chocolate but I did have a crisps and dips habit. I just want to maintain this loss for next week.
