It will be water weight, BOOP, you'll see it off quickly. And what's the point of going to France and not eating cheese, no fun in that! Happy to start the new thread off if you like. 😊

TVHubbyClaire · 30/08/2018 17:52

pony i think i will try your babybel suggestion. I liked slendertember as a thread title.

Cardio tennis tonight followed by badminton. Dinner is an M &S healthy dinner so hopefully a weight that begins with 11st for last day of month

@tv babybel lights are yummy and only 42cals each.

@BOOP totally reasonable to eat all the cheese when in France Grin

KickBishopBrennanUpTheArse · 30/08/2018 20:19

Welcome back from your holiday boop. It sounds great Grin

And well done to everyone making progress. I'm also feeling like a fraud for even being here.

Is it really the end of August already? I seem to remember saying at the beginning of the month that I needed to get back on it to avoid tipping into the 11 stone bracket. Well this morning I weighed in at ... 11 stone 2 Shock

It's been a bad week diet-wise. GCSE results celebrations last Thursday followed by 4 nights in a wet tent where it would have been immoral not to eat marshmallows, flapjack and bacon sandwiches.

The good news is I went for a run tonight! Only 20 mins but it's a start. My Achilles hurts a bit now though Sad

See you all in September for some serious weight loss.

lovesugarfreejelly63 · 31/08/2018 06:30

Week 3 weigh in day with SW. Why do I get so uptight about it? Should try and adopt a more laid back approach. I think its the gleam in the Consultants eye when she tells me the results!

CiderwithBuda · 31/08/2018 08:13

Oops BOOP. But you can’t really not eat cheese when in France! It’s probably against the law. It will come off quickly I’m sure.

Good luck with your weigh in lovesugar.

So I started the month saying I WOULD lose 7 pounds in August. But of course I haven’t. Ended July at 15 2.2. Went up to 15 5.8 after Budapest. Weighed at 15 stone 1 this morning. So a net loss of 1.2 pounds over the month. I suppose at least it’s going in the right direction.

Looking forward to new thread. New start.

Am going dry for September. Increasing my walking. Doing a plank challenge. And I will lose 7 pounds!

TVHubbyClaire · 31/08/2018 10:24

cider what is plank challenge...sounds interesting.
I just made the 11st mark today beung 11st 13.5....better than 12st but doesnt feel that great.
Thinking of having breakfast and really small lunches (with a babybel) and then under 600 cal evening meals with salad on side....does that sound sensible to anyone?

CiderwithBuda · 31/08/2018 11:58

TVHubby - a plank challenge is basically holding a plank position for increasing amounts of time. Very good for your core and abs. There are lots on Pinterest with timings.

Well done in getting to the 11s! That’s great. I would be wary of going too low with food as it can trigger bingeing.

TVHubbyClaire · 31/08/2018 12:26

Thanks cider i am not a pinterest user but will have a look. Certainly something that might be good and doesn't need too much organisation.
I will try to avoid binge eating and d hope its more successful than my occasional semi binge drinking....

CiderwithBuda · 31/08/2018 12:43

Yes know what you mean about the semi binge drinking!

Just google plank challenge and lots comes up. I want to do it as I used to be able to hold a plank position but am rubbish now.

lovesugarfreejelly63 · 31/08/2018 15:49

Weighed in this morning lost one and a half pounds, worrying over nothing as usual, thank you Cider for your kind words. Now lost 7 and a half pounds over last three weeks.

KickBishopBrennanUpTheArse · 31/08/2018 17:06

Wow well done lovesugar and TV FlowersStar

See you in the morning for a new thread and new motivation Halo

Therealjudgejudy · 31/08/2018 19:07

See you all in September....the month we all loose those 7 Linda's! Grin

bloopitybloop · 01/09/2018 08:17

Do we have a new Sept thread ?

ponygirlcurtis · 01/09/2018 09:09

I will set one up now - I am not as on the ball as BOOP! Will post the link here when I get it sorted. 😊

BitOutOfPractice · 01/09/2018 09:09

Oh lord has no one done a new thread?
