Binge Eaters - Anyone want to chat/support?

I'm NannyOldElf and I'm a binge eater.

Today i weight 21 stone. I have a BMI of 46.

Today i have eaten: a sharing size bag of crisps, a tub of ben&jerrys, a packet of biscuits, 4 dairylea dunkers

Im terrified. Of carrying on like this. of stopping. of being out of control.

I'm currently mulling over councelling and/or hypnotherapy.

right now step one is going to my aqua class tonight and working hard. properly sweating in the water hard.

Step 2 is to call a friend and arrange a coffee. i want to tell her what's wrong, to make it real by actually saying outloud to a real person 'i have binge eating disorder'.

Anyone else a binge eater and would like to join for support/chat?

Still following too - things going slightly better here after a few good nights of sleep, here’s hoping for a good week!

Hello! Anyone still here! Hope all is going well OP. I've been doing well but had a mini binge last night. Had a couple of planned wines, then DH went to bed early and I just started eating. Ate lots of biscuits bought for the kids and some leftover cakes. Really disappointed in myself.

Thinking back I can link it to being on my own and that's still a link in my brain, on my own = eat. I think generally I'm able to ignore the voices but after a couple of drinks my resolve was down.

Hope everyone is getting on well.

Hi all, how are you getting on?
I’ve not made much progress on the losing weight side of things but I’ve narrowed the trigger down to a very specific routine that I have (I thrive on routine especially since I’m currently a long way from family and friends). This happens daily.
I need to cut that bit of my routine out but it just seems so massive, so I’m going to try to change a small bit of it at a time, and hopefully the binge trigger will lessen.

I’m also listening to the Paul McKenna app - the night time hypnotic recording is so relaxing.
