Judy I don't think I have ever stayed the same weight on holiday. Well done.

I was down 3lbs this morning so 13'5 (which is 1st over a healthy BMI) but not having the best Friday, lots of carbs and a very large G&T.

Will do better tomorrow!

Fizzing your dd is a similar age to my eldest. They are wired full stop. Mine cried hysterically tonight for a quarter of an hour because she didn't see a Cheater?! Glad yours is on the mend.

Judge we went to Croatia a few years ago, loved it. Sounds like you scored double, a great holiday and no damage.

I've failed at the last hurdle, out for dinner tonight, had a smoked salmon salad, then caved and had stodgy crumble, custard and a pint of ale. Ah well, there is always tomorrow.

Last night for tea, we had cheese burgers and oven chips (all home made, so lower cal than eating out but still - not really diet friendly!). I drank wine and ate chocolate.

This morning I'm down another half pound, to 12st 4.2. Average now 12st 5.5.

I have no idea how this is possible, but I'll take it!

Well done everyone on the losses! This lovely weather is so much more conducive to losing weight and moving around more, I am finding.

I am at a new low, and 0.25lbs from my personal target that I have been aiming for in my head for the last 4 years! So around 10lb in 4 weeks on BSD (weekdays only). Can see it on myself too. Happy bunny here. 😊

Just to bring me back down to earth after my great weigh in this morning, I took a photo to compare to the last one, which was half a pound up.

Absolutely no bloody visible difference at all. Awesome.

Fizzing - remember that your fat cells can fill with water when the fat goes, which weighs less. Then you will get visible difference when they empty. It will happen, have faith. 😊

Koko I do it Sunday to Thursday. Friday and Saturday I still eat low carb but with added wine and the occasional treat. And lots and lots of water! I use the recipes from the book more for inspiration, and I use MFP to keep me right.

Well yesterday was not a great day. To many carbs. Too much wine. Crisps. And chocolate. Hmm.

Back on it today and have told DH I’m not drinking now till we go on holiday which is four weeks today.

Was supposed to do spinning class this morning but woke up at 2.40am and didn’t get back to sleep. Had to pick DS up from a sleepout for the homeless at 7am and then back home and then to school for 8.30. Was shattered so went back to bed.

I’ve had a UTI this week and I think it has definitely affected my energy levels so I’m going to give myself till Monday and get back into my routine.

I have been trying reasonably hard to be good all week and was 11st 13. Delighted to start with an 11 since that was always my goal. Exercise has been good and lunches are pretty well controlled. Evenings have been a bit like the curate's egg with a couple of nights in pub and essentially no dinner on those nights. Better balance is my next target along with maybe 11st 10.Confused
Out for dinner with DS tonight and lunch before an afternoon concert tomorrow so will need to be careful.

I am not surprised you are shattered Cider, all that plus a uti.

I am hoping to just at least maintain this week as it is my birthday and I going out for midweek dinner (and giant pink gin) so it will somewhat scupper my weekday BSD but will hopefully keep to it on the other days. Got my dinners for the week planned, just need to sort lunches.

Game of two halves today. Yesterday was a diet disaster, AF arrived and predictably I was almost 2lb up this morningBlush. So boo.

On the other hand, my average for the full week is 12st 5.5, which is:

  1. my lowest ever weekly average and
  2. 2 whole pounds lower than last week.

So on balance I'm really happy. This is why I love averagesSmile

Morning all!

That’s a great weekly average, fizzing.

I do think I am finding low carb easier because it is summer, I think I would struggle if it was cold and dark.

I thought today was my weigh in day (actually, it’s tomorrow - chose a Monday so I don’t go wild at the weekend) and I’ve lost 4.5lb. Am gobsmacked. I might well achieve half a stone in June!

I am utterly ridiculous with wine. Was it only yesterday I said no more until holiday? Well had red wine. We were having steak and it seemed rude not too! But. Shared a bottle with DH and stopped. Didn’t open a second bottle. We would have normally. So followed my red wine with four large glasses of water.

I’m tracking on MFP and even with the wine and a packet of Hula Hoops I was 5 cals under for the day although that was using exercise calories which I try not to do. But it means it wasn’t a disaster.

My weigh in day is tomorrow but a sneak peak this morning is looking very encouraging!

Well done to those getting down to lower than they’ve been for a while. That always feels like properly losing rather than just losing what I have regained! I’m happy to lose it but frustrated that I’m having to losing the same bloody stone again. And again. And again!

Cinder I’ve been losing the same stone again and again since 2011 and I’m sick of myself. At the moment the whole stone is on my stomach and doesn’t want to move, it’s a chocolatestone, they are the worst to shift.

Last weeks official loss is 5.5 pounds. Happy with that although yesterday’s sneaky weigh showed a pound less. But that’s ok! It will go this week.

And this week should get me under 15 st 7 - currently 15 st 7.5. It’s my next mini goal.

Yesterday was a hungry day - I had a very ripe peach with Greek yoghurt for breakfast. Wondering if it was too much sugar and triggered cravings. Will have protein this morning.
