Thanks Rosieposie though, in the spirit of full disclosure, my day yesterday didn't end up quite as virtuous as planned...
. After a long day at work I flopped on the sofa with a (slimline) g&t followed by a -large- glass of rose and didn't make it to the gym. Still not bad on the food front though:
Breakfast: Skinny latte, Pret bircher muesli with apple and pomegranate
Lunch: Tuna and salmon sashimi brown/wild rice, creamy basil herb dressing
Dinner: Homemade green soup – spinach, broccoli, onion, potato
Snacks: 4 oatcakes, small bag salted cashews, slimline gin and tonic, large glass rose wine.
Exercise: About an hour’s walking
Jeans definitely marginally looser this morning.
Random breakfast today of half a fishcake (Dad's leftovers), a small piece of cheese and two pieces of fruit. Lunch is tomatoes and mushrooms on one slice of wholemeal bread and dinner is probably leftover green soup. My mantra for today is: eat mindfully and enjoy a variety of healthy food.
Thanks again for this thread greedypiglet - It's the first time I've felt slightly more accountable for my actions and I think it's helping me keep away from the biscuit drawer.
I'm out at a gig tomorrow night and will be drinking and that is always where it goes wrong and I end up head first in a (veggie) kebab.
