I mean done forgave my typing must be the coffee Smile

cmcc22 · 05/06/2018 11:33

@amaygdala58 I had bullet proof coffee as well this morning for the first time in months (tried Keto at the beginning of those year). I love it - but let's just say I'm glad I'm not leaving the house today!!!!!😱😷

amaygdala58 · 05/06/2018 12:04

Hi cmcc22,

Not felt the after effects yet 😱 my stomach did feel a little strange half an hour after but is ok now might give it a miss tomorrow as I have an appointment in the morning Smile

AsAProfessionalFekko · 05/06/2018 12:06

Why are 'slimming foods' so bloody sweet?

I can't process sugar/fake sugar very well - especially on an empty stomach - so it just makes me feel vomity (or is that the purpose??!)

notsusan · 05/06/2018 12:21

Currently in a coffee shop (where I ordered an Americano to be good) and owner just gave me cake with squirty cream on the house!

Just had a bite to be polite... it's delicious and the rest of it is just staring at me.

Help me Confused

Cheddar: I am hoping for about 1 pound a week, which would take me roughly 40 weeks. But I know from past experience that it will be easier to shed weight at the start, and increasingly difficult as I get nearer my goal. It's never a steady pound a week.
But honestly it's not like I will only be happy at my goal weight. I am currently a size 18. I will be very happy when I am wearing size 16 comfortably, and thrilled when I can get into all my size 14 stuff. Size 12 is so far off that I'm not worrying about it yet!
So, yeah, it may take a long while to lose all the weight, but hopefully it will teach me a sustainable new way of eating along the way.
At least that's the plan! I don't want to regain, not ever, and I think that will be the toughest bit.

ltk · 05/06/2018 12:27

Notsusan: This is the reason a pound a week is never a steady fall: you're doing fine and then someone gives you cake!

ClandestineAdulation · 05/06/2018 12:37

Jumping in for some lunchtime motivation! What’s for lunch today? I have a sweet potato salad, carrots and some onion hummus, but the biscuits are doing the rounds in the office and I’m having to avoid temptation.

JustLurkingAway · 05/06/2018 13:04

I've eaten nothing except my weetabix this morning so far. Very hungry atm but I'm too busy at work to eat! That's probably a blessing in disguise...

KatharineHilbery · 05/06/2018 13:46

I have just had lunch. Parma ham sandwich made with two slices of white bread, buttered. And then two more slices of whIte bread because I was starving. Bugger.

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 05/06/2018 14:25

Afternoon all. I totally dropped out over the weekend as we had an insane event on at work and I ended up comfort eating my way through the crazy.
I'm back on it today and have had a pretty decent breakfast at lunch but Tuesday is the most challenging night of the week for me as DH is out, I have DS on my own and I usually eat rubbish for dinner. Fingers crossed I can stay on track while thinking of you all!
Appearance-wise I am doing a bit better; I've done my hair and make-up every day since the thread started and people have been noticing which is very nice. Even DH has noticed which has given me a bit of a boost!

AsAProfessionalFekko · 05/06/2018 14:27

At a conference - had a veggie Subway. I was really really hungry and breakfast was at 5:30am!

theedgeofthecloud · 05/06/2018 14:43

Bircher yoghurt with pomegranate seeds and 2 oatcakes for breakfast today. Tuna and salmon sashimi with brown/wild rice for lunch. Working in the office today rather at home and the goody cupboard is groaning with biscuits. But so far I am resisting. My vulnerable time is when I get tired in the afternoon and on the commute home and start craving sugar and salty snacks. Trying to up my water intake instead. DP is making green soup for tea and I've got a Body Balance class at the gym. There is a mini bottle of rose in the fridge which may call to me later, just in case I find myself getting too virtuous...Wink

frustratedashell · 05/06/2018 17:00

Doing quite well, although I've hurt my back again! Have had 2 chocolates , for medicinal purposes !

RosieposiePuddingandPi · 05/06/2018 17:12

Ooo theedgeofthecloud that is a seriously virtuous day. I'm v jealous of your gym session, I miss the gym so much but there is just no chance of it happening for me right now.

Frustrated it is medically proven that chocolate is a natural painkiller!

ZetaPuppis · 05/06/2018 18:00

I still have a headache. Since kids (or age, I don’t know) I get headaches every so often that last 3 days. I can cope with some Nurofen.

Today I had
Banana
Some leftover rice.
Nectarine
2 ryvita and tomatoes
6 almonds
Satsuma
Am currently cooking chicken saag and I’ll gave a little bit of brown rice with it.
Ice lolly

Does it seem like I’m eating too much? I can’t tell because I’m not counting but I’m aware I’m picking at stuff constantly. Trying to keep it healthy though.

pigpoglet · 05/06/2018 18:25

I'm staying in the zone , I find trying stuff on reminds you that you need to lose weight 🙈🙈

user1469751309 · 05/06/2018 19:06

I'm kicking myself I had been sooooo good but it was my mums birthday and I ended up scoffing a slice of cake Blush

ClandestineAdulation · 05/06/2018 19:07

ZetaPuppis I don’t think you’re eating too much, for what it’s worth! And it’s all healthy too!

pigpoglet · 05/06/2018 19:09

@ZetaPuppis .. that isn't too much .. why not download my fitness pal and log it at the end of the day so you know how many kcals you are eating .

frustratedashell · 05/06/2018 19:09

Rosieposie, that's good! Lol

ZetaPuppis · 05/06/2018 19:37

Thanks Clandestine and Pigpoglet
I really don’t have the headspace for logging stuff on myfitnesspal. I’ve used it before and although it’s very good, I just can’t be bothered.
I’ve always got so much going on.
I just want to try to eat healthier and cut out all the bread and crap I’ve been eating.
If I don’t lose weight over the next couple of weeks then I’ll see about doing something more structured.

ClandestineAdulation · 05/06/2018 20:17

I think that’s a good idea ZetaPuppis

You can make a pretty good start this way, and if you don’t notice a difference, MFP is really helpful as you know.

I find that I need rules, goals and structure so MFP really helps with that. Good luck!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 05/06/2018 20:54

B: Raspberry & honey porridge pot
L: Salad box from deli - had red cabbage and goat’s cheese salad, apple and celeriac slaw and coronation chicken
D: Frozen pizza (about 650 calories worth) & some olives - cleaner is due tomorrow and didn’t want to cook and mess up the kitchen.

No exercise, but came in under calories.

DH is out, the kids are driving me up the wall and there’s an open box of chocolate biscuits calling to me!

JustLurkingAway · 05/06/2018 20:57

I'd say a good day here! Came in way under my calories on MFP, didn't exercise today though.

Hoping I'll stop feeling this hungry soon, have come to bed to watch love island to stop myself from snackingGrin
