Wow, that's fab!!! Not quite there yet- am just under 5 stone, but am fitting into size 12 jeans(as we speak) which was originally my target. Need to get my bmi down though by another 2, to give me a bit of leeway, I think!

you've all done/are doing fantastically well. Hope I do as well too!

Any other tips from you succesful people....

Well done to everyone. I think Lighter Life is the easiestdiet I have ever done (and I've tried them all!!) I started with the intention of losing weight in rder to hopefully conceive at some point in the future. I began in February and lost 5 stone in 5 months - I had to cme off of the diet when I discvered I was pregnant (due in Feb).

Although I wasn't able to follow the eating programme my counsellor has been fantastic in advising me about healthy eatingfr pregnancy.

I still have a fair bit of weight to lose so when I'm able to I'll definately be rejoining.

Good luck to everyone

Just restarted yesterday for a month to shift holiday weight - wish me luck!

Sorry haven't been on Mumsnet for a while. I am still on Lighter Life and have now list 1 stone and 11lb and am heading for 2 stone next week. I feel FANTASTIC. My head is clear, I sleep well and my mild depression has lifted.

aznerak · 27/09/2007 15:03

I lost 10lb in my first week and then I was gutted to find I lost nothing in week 2. However, I am still in ketosis, haven't even thought of cheating so ultimately, the scales will show it soon enough.
Finding it all pretty easy actually - not hungry, easily drinking the water, and dealing with the packs a lot better now!

Keep it up everyone on LL!

SecondhandRose · 05/10/2007 12:47

Hi am now on week 8 and have lost 2 stone exactly. Feeling very proud of myself.

SecondhandRose · 08/11/2007 20:21

Just an update I have now lost 2 stone 10lb and I finish next week and start maintenance the week after.

barmybird · 11/11/2007 21:54

Hi all. Its good to hear positive things about LL. I finished the abstinence at the end of April after loosing just over 4 and a half stone (nearer 5!!!!). I've managed to put a bit back on but I'm no where near where I was. (I did do maintainence in a fashion).

I think with any diet there is a risk that the weight will go back on. LL is however the only diet that has actually helped me look at why I eat when I am really not hungry. My counsellor is fantastic and quickly focuses in on issues which are affecting my eating patterns.

I truly think this is a learning process. Its hard at times but I am trying to change eating patterns which I established many years ago.

Heres positive thoughts coming out to all who are adressing their weight issues. Good for us I say!
