Week 1 done & been reasonably strict, I have lost 4.2 lbs. I’m out to lunch today & am torn between enjoying it but not going overboard & being strict & having meat & greens only. I have made a pact with myself re targets & I need to lose 1.6 lbs by next Sunday.
Happy Sunday everybody & well done on all the losses & running!

TheDonald · 05/11/2017 08:16

Well done ready. Great loss in one week. Hope you enjoy your lunch.

I had a good day food wise yesterday. Not so good in other ways. I lost a child at the large local fireworks display and ended up running around our local park for 45 mins in a mad panic. She was absolutely fine and sensibly waiting by the gate but I might have added a grey hair or 2. She's not my child but is in my care for the weekend which made it even worse!

I suppose on the bright side I added another 5k to my steps for the day and avoided the crepe stall with all the drama!

I did come home and eat a pork pie to steady my nerves!

ponygirlcurtis · 05/11/2017 08:43

Well done ready - enjoy your lunch and choose whatever you think won't sabotage things.

That sounds stressful Donald.

I have had a decent weekend foodwise, I have seen numbers on the scales that I like. I have been under 11st all week but am paranoid it's a trick and I will jump back up tomorrow! Grin For those that use an app to track daily weighing, what ones do you use?

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 05/11/2017 09:26

Donald eek that must have been a long 45 minutes! Glad she was ok in the end.

That's a brilliant loss for the week Ready!

I weighed myself this morning and I'm the same weight I was before I went away last weekend (actually, I'm 0.2 lbs lighter Grin) so hopefully with a few golden days this week I might actually see a loss

NamasteNiki · 05/11/2017 11:20

Im holding steady at 63kg. It is nice to keep seeing below 10st on the scale.

Annoyed with all the flogging and exercise that I havent dipped even lower. Want to breach a new calorie bracket. Angry

Chardonnay73 · 05/11/2017 19:49

Ooof. Bad weekend. Big night out on Friday, hangover on Saturday, then at a gig on Saturday night and the only restaurant we could get into was a pasta place, so ate half of a mushroom risotto and was driving so no wine. Did 10 and 12k steps on Friday and Sat though.
Flashing lights at the gig triggered a migraine so spent today moaning on the sofa and taking painkillers. Still had to get up and cook a roast for everyone though 😡
Scales will not be good tomorrow, but back on it!!!

backinthatdress · 05/11/2017 20:23

Ready- what did you do regarding lunch in the end ?

Donald - glad you found her! I probably would of been in tears by the end if it was me.

Well today's been abit bad but could of been worse! ... had a christening, birthday party and went to a fire works display.. had half a cream and jam scone with a cup of tea after the christening at the do, and a few nibbles at the kids party but that's it all day and Iv just had some melon.. hoping it doesn't ruin my week. Sigh.

backinthatdress · 05/11/2017 20:32

Chardonnay - tomorrow's a new day! Brush it off and start again Smile

Softpebbles · 05/11/2017 20:52

Chard I'm with you. Bad weekend. It's like my sugar addiction has peaked! I am looking at my weight the month as I know my hormones are having a major effect on everything. 😡

Have exercised though and not had tea today just a big roast.

Back to restrictions tomorrow.

readyforsunshine · 05/11/2017 20:53

Backinthatdress not so well I’m afraid!
Bfast was on the run so I grabbed an apple & was starving by lunch at 2pm. I had roast beef with all the trimmings followed by fruit crumble & custard Shock all washed down with a glass of red. I was craving toast earlier this evening but it has passed & im heading for bed.
Pony I use happy scale which somebody here recommended. I really like it as it shows a graph & breaks your progress into targets.

splatattack · 05/11/2017 21:29

Thank you for the recommendation readyforsunshine...I will use that!!

And I have been pretty good except for the emergency packet of skittles I inhaled last night...I NEEDED the sugar!! Have done 15K steps today to try to make up for it!! Still no running because of my bloody concussion Confused

poorpaws · 05/11/2017 22:10

Not doing too well again will try again tomorrow. I could do with an angel week!

Well done everyone and good luck for the new week ahead 😀

backinthatdress · 06/11/2017 07:26

Ready - today's a new day, just move on from it.

Today I'm going to start with pineapple for breakfast after the school run.

Does anyone else here weigh daily Blush it's like part of my daily routine!! Even tho Thursday's weigh in will be my official lose for the week!

IheartCaptainHolt · 06/11/2017 07:33

@backinthatdress I weigh everyday and Tuesday is my official weigh in day. I’ve got an app that tracks it and gives you graphs etc which I love!

If I’m having a wobble about how I’m doing it’s good to look back over previous weeks to see how I’ve been doing at that point in the week in the past.

HairsprayBabe · 06/11/2017 07:50

Pretty good weekend, no booze but probably a little carb heavy, split a chelsea bun with DM at a Christmas Craft show yesterday.

10.3 I think that is either a new Monday low or a repeat Monday low. Maybe this is the week I see the 9s for the first time (I have 100% hexxed myself now)

Flyingprettycretonnecurtains · 06/11/2017 08:18

Still on 10 stone. No movement but couldn't go for a walk on Saturday due to rain and yesterday I had a friend round so no walk. Took boys out for Sunday lunch as logistically it was just easier. Did eat two yorkshires and a couple of roasties. Son had made brilliant cake so did have a slice but then only three crackers and crab pate (thinly put on) for supper and some yoghurt. Hey ho.

KikisDeliveryService · 06/11/2017 08:31

0.8 of a Linda back on over the weekend, pleased with that, especially as I barely moved on Saturday and had a roast with pudding on Sunday. That's still a net loss :)

Weekdays are easier so should be fine to keep focussed.

TVHubbyClaire · 06/11/2017 09:16

lovely dress pony

I had alot of wine and a big lunch yesterday and surprisingly was still at my 12st 7 weight from Friday. I must be careful today as feelinga little hungover and could easily have a carb fest Hmm

Morning. Just rushing in to wave abs day I’ve had a fab weekend that has been disastrous on the scales. Ate so much (sushi, pizza, sausages) and drank a load too. Oh well I thoroughly thoroughly enjoyed it.

Back on it today. We’ve all still got this right?

KOKO I think there’s a big difference.* 600 Calories day in day out sounds like a bad idea to me I’m afraid.*

Bitoutofpractice- I'm back on it today. Just round my mates for a cup of tea as I don't work mondays.

Keepingon- Iv done vlcd in the past, i don't think it messed up my motabalism. I also don't think I lost anymore weight doing it that's way then doing something like weight watchers, but I think to get you started it should be ok? Specially if you can stick to it..

backinthatdress · 06/11/2017 10:30

Tv- did you manage to stay away from the carbs?

HairsprayBabe · 06/11/2017 10:39

I do VLCD 5 days a week KOKO I struggle a bit at the weekend and can very easily go overboard when I "relax".
