I dont have any upcoming social events for Christmas, never really do.

BitOutOfPractice · 19/11/2017 15:22

So, after a crazy week at work (83 hours!) when I don’t think I’ve eaten a single meal at home and had 3 separate work dos, I’ve put 4 Lindas on. Bastard Linda

Back on it today though

Off to read back now

I'm definitely changing shape - even the demon tits are a bit smaller - but can't drop any buggering Lindas. Still 11.6, just inside the healthy bmi range. I feel like I should be seeing 9st now, never mind 10'something! Keep going though...

Therealjudgejudy · 19/11/2017 15:32

I got back home late Friday night and didn't do too much damage with airport/ travel eating.

Was planning to get back on it and head to the gym yesterday but woke up with a cold and felt pretty crap. Basically did major damage with lots of carbs...feed a cold to starve a fever being my excuse Smile. I actually ate like a crazy person!

Back on it today though. Pint of lemon water for Breakfast and my dad cooked me lunch...turkey cooked in a Maltese sauce with salad in a wholemeal pita. Very nice. No clue about dinner but am planning a nice walk soon to get back into the headspace.

Starting tomorrow I'm back on the daily gym and 1000 calories schedule.

Well done everyone on your awesome weight losses. Love how positive an motivating this thread is Star

TheCatOfAthenry · 19/11/2017 18:09

So I’m down about 12 pounds already! Came off quicker than expected.

Still have loads to go, but so far so good.

TheDonald · 19/11/2017 20:27

Wow TheCat that's impressive. Well done! Flowers

TheCatOfAthenry · 19/11/2017 21:27

Thank you Donald! Smile

lastqueenofscotland · 20/11/2017 07:31

Lost a few this month, I've been ill so not been able to stuff my face all weekend however have had shin splints so can't run much ether Hmm

HappyGowerGirl · 20/11/2017 07:41

Nice work thecat!

Stood on the scales this morning and I'm 59.3kg! (9.4!) I was super golden this weekend and I'm glad it paid off.

I've lost pretty much a stone since the end of August and I feel great (mentally and physically).

Not sure how to decide what my goal weight is. I feel I'm very nearly there. I certainly wouldn't want to loose much more. I would love to be a bit fitter though/exercise more.

Good luck this week everyone!

HairsprayBabe · 20/11/2017 08:29

Happy Monday, was good not not golden yesterday and am starting this week on 9.13, scales were a little indecisive between 13 and 12 but settled on the higher sadly!

Cheese festival was immense and I will be dreaming about it for many months now, there was a loaded mac and cheese stand Niki so you pick the cheese sauce you want, standard, strong or blue, and then you add the toppings, chilli, bacon, jalapenos etc. etc. then they put more cheese on top and then they put it under the grill for about 30 seconds....

If people want to see any photo's of me, cheese and me eating cheese please feel free to look over my instagram Grin

Fast day today, having roasted squash, veggie sausages green beans and cabbage for dinner.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 20/11/2017 08:43

Good morning!

I'm up 2lbs after the weekend, so 3lbs in total since my low last week. Didn't have the best weekend food-wise, I was hungover yesterday and ended up eating loads of macaroni cheese and then was up half the night with heartburn. I was also feeling too delicate to make it to bodypump so all round not great, but back on it today!
Planning a fast day, soup for lunch and thai curry for dinner.

HappyGowerGirl · 20/11/2017 09:12

Hair that cheesefest sounds epic😂😂😂😂😂 Cheese is my downfall!

Ah thanks koko I think I have it a bit easier than a lot of people, no kids and a lot of time!

I tend to be ok in the week, I don't eat breakfast, never really have. On fast days I have broth or miso for lunch and then an early dinner at about 5 that is usually veggie sausages, quorn chicken or tofu and a load of veg. I don't specifically count calories but I know what I am eating won't be more than 600 or so cals

On a non fast day I have veggie soup, boiled eggs/quorn chicken/tuna salad or ff greek yogurt and berries for lunch (approx 200 calories).

And then dinner can be anything really 500 calories for one meal is a pretty decent amount, especially when I am not having white carbs.
I don't weigh/measure non starchy veg, I weigh fats, protein and dairy and I have to portion up things like hummus or nuts or I eat the whole tub.

I am trying to not snack at the weekends, eating whatever I like but only as part of a meal if that makes sense. That is what I did this weekend, and I only gained the one linda, I am assuming that is mainly cheese based!

BitOutOfPractice · 20/11/2017 12:18

Good afternoon lovely Slenderistas.

Fel off the wagon at my first attempt yesterday with a bottle of wine with a dinner that was too nice not to drink wine with iykwim. I made pie from scratch including potato pastry. I was proud.

I have all the meals planned this week and running class and gym trips booked in. Here's to a great week!

Conversely to this thread I am currently on a bit of carb-loading attempt as tomorrow evening I have the main part of my martial arts black belt grading! Our club has only existed for 4 years so we are the first ever black belt test, which only goes to add just a little bit more pressure! So I've been training like a loon and eating healthily these past few weeks (hence actually losing weight...).

Anyway, please wish me luck, as although I know everything and have done all the training, I am still basically a nervous wreck and will be like a rabbit in the headlights as soon as I am faced with my first instruction tomorrow.

I will really need this thread after tomorrow if I am to keep up the good work without the incentive of a terrifying grading scenario in the near future!

KikisDeliveryService · 20/11/2017 16:02

I am actually finding carb loading quite tricky though actually! I'm full!

Great photos hairspray, a cheese festival sounds very dangerous. And awesome.

NamasteNiki · 20/11/2017 16:33

Hairspray did you take photos of said Macaroni Cheese Blush 😍It's my all time favourite food.

Here's to a great week for all of us. My ability to chew has improved very slightly.

Therealjudgejudy · 20/11/2017 17:03

Hairspray I actually clicked on to follow You! The maccaroni cheese looks amazing Smile.

Kikis best of luck to you. I'm sure you will smash it.

Just back from the gym after my 4 day break. Feel really good after it. Food is going to plan so far. Pint of my detox lemon water for Breakfast and slice of chicken for lunch as was not remotely hungry. Dinner is going to be peppered mackerel fillets, sweet corn and plum tomatoes. I'm treating myself to a raspberry and apple danish with a cup of tea this evening though.

NamasteNiki · 20/11/2017 17:33

I missed the instagram link.

Macaroni 😍

QuimReaper · 20/11/2017 19:50

Everyone's doing great! Hairspray I AM SO ENVIOUS, sounds amazing!

koko I'm going to be OK until the 22nd, but then I'm stuffed until the week commencing the 8th! I can only see 2 golden days out of 15! Shock I might just roll with it and see it as a "holiday" - thing is though, it took me forever to get on top of my gain after my last holiday and it was very frustrating. It was great last year how all of the Big Days (Xmas Eve and Day and NYE) all fell on the weekends.

QuimReaper · 20/11/2017 19:51

TheCat how quickly have you lost that 12 Lindas? That's awesome! And Gower you're on fire!

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 20/11/2017 20:11

Boop if it was anything like mine then it was very enjoyable, but not without repercussions!

Good luck for tomorrow Kiki!

TheCatOfAthenry · 20/11/2017 20:28

Quim it’s been almost 3 weeks. Actually 18 pounds - I used work scales which I got original weight on and shows I’m down a lot. Started at 209, now 191.

It came off easily. Mainly just by not eating biscuits all day every day. I was always slim but started eating like an elephant on long 24-32 hour shifts.

I’m doing the odd circuit class in the gym and some yoga at home.

2 years ago was 133 and want to get closer to that for my wedding in July!
