Splat - I'm 5'5 and more of an apple shape. I'm pretty sure the mystical 'they' also tell apples it's really hard to lose weight from round your middle.

Fair enough regarding today's menu! I'm interested to see how your month goes - I think that I'm using November as a bit of a trial of 1450 cals and exercise and if that doesn't work this month I'll change something next month.

splatattack · 14/11/2017 23:06

I have a wedding dress to fit into next month so am on a real mission!! Fingers crossed!! But this thread is helping hugely, so thank you so much everyone!!

Naughtysausage · 14/11/2017 23:18

In which case - obviously you will do it! Keep on doing what you're doing! (Waves pom-poms)

And that is a dress we will need to see!

SweetCorn21 · 15/11/2017 04:44

trying to lose weight. can't :(

treaclesoda · 15/11/2017 08:08

So I joined you all a couple of weeks ago, lost 1lb, lost another, thought 'ok, slow and steady, I can do this!'. Weighed myself yesterday and now I've put a lb back on again. So now I have to lose the same bloody lb all over again. Sad

HairsprayBabe · 15/11/2017 08:15

10.1 well that is disappointing, scales hovered on 10 dead but stuck with 10.1 in the end...

Bean chilli and cauliflower rice for dinner not sure about lunch, will have to see what waitrose can offer me.

KikisDeliveryService · 15/11/2017 08:27

Frustrating treacle and hairspray.

sweetcorn Do you want to tell us what you're trying so we can use collective wisdom to help or empathise? Do you know where it's going wrong? Do you have much to lose? Apologies if you've already said, I'm a bit behind on the thread.

I claimed up thread I'd lost 3.6lbs (went back to check my start weight), I may have added a pound on there! Anyway, I have now lost 3lbs which I am very happy with. My head has been in the right frame all month so far so it's mainly just been thinking twice before mindlessly nibbling, mostly avoiding junk and if I do snack I'm only allowed relatively boring things (fruit/dried fruit) which do not spark the I must eat more response.

Having said that, I definitely snarfed down quite a few biscuits I found in the cupboard and they weren't even very nice. . I don't generally have time for an evening meal on Tuesday due to training/classes and forgot to eat a 4pm one so the calorie intake over all (despite biscuits) was still over all low. I know I was hungry this morning! Scrambled eggs with phily and ham for breakfast.

Today will be all healthy and definitely no biscuits as there are none left.

NamasteNiki · 15/11/2017 10:59

See that's the bonus of having had oral surgery. I cant pick. I cant eat a biscuit and have no desire too as my mouth hurts too much.

When it heals however........

NamasteNiki · 15/11/2017 10:59

To not too

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 15/11/2017 11:38

Loving the party (& wedding!!) dress talk on here. I tried a couple on today but felt really disheartened due to horrible non-shrinking megaboobz. Looked great from the ribcage down. And the full Hattie Jacques up top. Boo.

splatattack · 15/11/2017 12:14

Keira I'm soooo jealous!! I have managed to lose all my weight from my boobs (which are tiny to begin with) and need to get some fat off my ass!!!

HairsprayBabe · 15/11/2017 12:17

My boobs seem to have shrunk proportionally to me,
I was a 34G to begin with last measured (April) I was a 32F I think I am closer to a 30F now

backinthatdress · 15/11/2017 12:21

Naughtysausage - love the green dress!!

Weigh day tomorrow for me, Iv been busy all morning, and I had a doctors app that was running 45 minutes late! So annoying.

NamasteNiki · 15/11/2017 12:22

Hairspray my 32dd bras are too big now. Think I might be a D now.

Annoying as I gave lots i haven't worn yet.

backinthatdress · 15/11/2017 12:22

Splat - i also lose from my boobs and there also small to begin with!!

KikisDeliveryService · 15/11/2017 12:24

I've already had my wisdom teeth out niki! I remember being highly relieved I wouldn't have any more impacted teeth pain, once the op pain had subsided. And being fed milkshakes as it was back in the days before smoothies were a thing!

I don't normally have snack crap loitering around the house, if it is not available then I won't eat it, and I'm usually well behaved in shops!

Keira your problems are a mystery to me as well! My thighs and upper arms that are the last places to start shrinking and remain well covered while my torso becomes all ribs.

Gingercatbiscuits · 15/11/2017 12:24

I’m new and a bit late to join but this looks like great inspiration, I’m 10.8 to 10.10 and have sat around that weight for a while, despite lots of excercise so it’s obv the food I eat, this thread may stop me for going to the shop for crisps this pm...would love to be below 10 stone for the first time in 10 yesrs

NamasteNiki · 15/11/2017 12:37

Kiki I have allowed myself a festive coffee as the calories from those are equivalent to a meal nearly at 350.

Milkshake is a good idea. I had a can of spaghetti hoops last night and I had to slurp it off the spoon as I couldn't open my mouth much and swallow it all whole.

Back to the drawing board as even spaghetti hoops doesnt work.

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 15/11/2017 12:38

Even when I was 21 and weighed 8 stone I had big boobs. And these days they are a 30j (weeps). The rest of me is nearly fitting a size 10! I wish I could gift a cup size or two to some of you others.

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 15/11/2017 12:43

I'll show you. Excuse leggings and trainers, I was on my way to the gym.

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 15/11/2017 12:44

Huge sympathy on the mouth Niki. Hope it eases soon.

KikisDeliveryService · 15/11/2017 13:00

If you were close by niki I'd drop you off some lump free soup. A good excuse to drink tasty calorific milky festive coffee drinks though, yum yum.

keira YOU LOOK FAB! Your boobs do not look massive they just look great. I appreciate that we have a tendency to focus on our own perceived 'flaws' but I can guarantee no one is thinking "well she looks great but it's a shame she has obvious norks". The dress is lovely too.

HairsprayBabe · 15/11/2017 13:36

Try pepperberry for dresses with extra boob space kiera

QuimReaper · 15/11/2017 13:40

Oh Keira I can't sympathise either, I think you look terrific! Being an apple is the pits: with weight loss my boobs have gone all sad-looking and my belly hasn't gone down correspondently so I just look like a jiggly... well, apple. (What an image...)

treacle we've all been there, it's so frustrating - did you take your foot off the gas? If you did it once you can do it again, and then some! I always say it's easy-in easy-off, I try not to really celebrate Linda losses or despair over gains until they've hung around for a while, as it's easy to fluctuate on water.

Hairspray argh I can feel your frustration, you're so close!

Sweet tell us more?

backinthatdress · 15/11/2017 13:42

Keira - love the dress! You look good in it!

I may try on a couple of dresses I have soon even tho I already have the 'one' but no harm in looking at other
