Not been on scales for over a week now.....i'm getting anxious....

I dont feel overly heavy so hopefully I won't be disappointed when we finally get bathroom sorted out

On a positive note I just bought a top in a smaller size than ever before so I'm quite pleased about that Smile

NamasteNiki · 14/11/2017 12:18

Yay TV well done.

I appeared to be 62kg on the bathroom scale today which is 9.10 and my original goal weight. But I wonder should I revise it down to 60kg.

I cant eat solid food for a week at least Sad

HairsprayBabe · 14/11/2017 13:05

Nice NSV TV

Amazing work with getting to goal weight Nikki are you happy with how you look now? You are sure to drop at least a few more lbs with an enforced liquid diet, see how you feel once you are "back on solids" you might be happy enough to work on maintaining.

NamasteNiki · 14/11/2017 13:31

Hairspray I say appeared to be because it was the bathroom scale and not HRH Boditrax Grin

But my bathroom scales are generally pretty accurate and they did point to the 62kg more than once quite decisively.

I am happy with my appearance now especially as I have been weight training and legs and shoulders are showing some nice lean muscle.

I think that I may lose a bit more as I cant eat at the moment. The most I can manage is mashed potato as you dont have to chew. I am having a costa gingerbread latte with cream for lunch. It is 350 calories but when that is all I am having that is fine. Im just drinking the calories instead.

I think with Christmas looming and the fact that I will eat more and the gym will be closed, there is potential for weight gain there so I think Id like to keep trying to lose to minimise any Christmas gaining.

Ill assess again in January and see. I would be happy with 60kg and no less. That is 9.7. I think that fat is natures botox and I wouldn't like to be too slim as i think the face suffers.

HairsprayBabe · 14/11/2017 13:58

9.7 is my end goal too!

Softpebbles · 14/11/2017 17:10

Hope you feel better soon Nicki

Everyone seems to be doing well. I'm starting to slide again😬

TieGrr · 14/11/2017 17:39

Have been exactly the same weight for the last three mornings on the scales.

TheDonald · 14/11/2017 18:10

I'm not sure if today is a good or bad day.

I've had the day off work and been walking with my friend. We went about 8 miles. Fitbit says 20k steps and there were some big hills involved. Nice sensible packed lunch and a tea cake in a cafe afterwards.

Then got home and I'd clearly undereaten because I then inhaled a bag of crisps, loads of nuts and snacks and 4 quality street!

I've logged it all now and mfp says I've got 400 cals left. That means soup for dinner but I want spaghetti Bolognese!

twinkledag · 14/11/2017 20:07

I’ve had an ok day -

Eggs and sausage for breakfast, skinny latte

My sons leftover chips and a fishfinger for lunch Blush

chilli, spoonful of natural yoghurt and smashed avocado for dinner

Snacked on 2 squares of dark chocolate and some cooked chicken

Why can’t being thin be easy Sad

splatattack · 14/11/2017 20:12

Today I have had:

Breakfast - apple

Lunch - three small quorn sausages and a hard boiled egg

Dinner - two rice cakes (gluten free) with a scraping of whole grain peanut butter and chopped apple

Snack tonight - I'm considering a square of dark chocolate.

Does this sound good for someone on a mission to go from 10st to 9 st 7 in 4 weeks??

Naughtysausage · 14/11/2017 20:16

Hi all!

Congrats on reaching your goal weight @NamasteNiki !

I'm going to order my Christmas party dress this evening. Asos have 20% off everything. Not beating myself up about not being the size I'd like to order, just going to enjoy it!

Had an amazing chicken and ginger soup for dinner last night and tonight. Full of protein and really filling but no stodge.

Naughtysausage · 14/11/2017 20:17

@splatattack how many calories does that work out as?

backinthatdress · 14/11/2017 20:27

Well done everyone!

Well done niki!

I'm still here, still being 'good'. Even tho the 2 chocolate eclair sweet toffee things I had are not good!

Weigh day Thur! Woo

backinthatdress · 14/11/2017 20:32

Naughtysausage - what are you ordering ? Any pictures..

Naughtysausage · 14/11/2017 20:41

I'll post a photo when I find it!

splatattack · 14/11/2017 20:57

Hey naughty sausage (love the name!!)

According to MFP is works out as 660 cals...

But I'm about to have a square of dark choc now..

TheDonald · 14/11/2017 21:15

naughty

Did you make that soup? Do you have a recipe? It sounds amazing.

I had spaghetti Bolognese by the way!

Naughtysausage · 14/11/2017 21:44

Splat that doesn't sound enough at all! --Eat two pieces of chocolate.

I ordered 4 dresses in the end Blush I've attached the two most promising ones. Fingers crossed something looks decent!

The soup is a Madeline Shaw recipe. It is:

1x onion
1x leek
2x carrots (all diced and sweated down)
2x garlic cloves
1 tbsp of grated ginger
500g chicken thighs
400g can of chickpeas
500ml chicken stock

Cook for 30 mins then add juice if one lemon just before you serve. Makes 4 portions. Nom bloody nom.

It should be enough...I have only managed 8,000 steps today!! And can't run because of a recent chest infection 😳...weights session tomorrow though so will aim to eat a little more...

And I LoVE the green dress sausage...great taste!! ❤

poorpaws · 14/11/2017 22:26

sausage I love both dresses but especially the blue one.

Everyone is doing so well, keep it up.

All celebrations over and I feel kind of pleased to get back to normal tomorrow. Considering tryI got to give sugar up again, but last time I only managed one day 🙄 back to WW tomorrow night.

poorpaws · 14/11/2017 22:27

Trying to give ffs

Naughtysausage · 14/11/2017 22:40

Splat genuinely intrigued - We're the same weight with the same goals. Today I managed 8000 steps but ate 1450 calories. I could probably manage 700 cals on the odd fast day. Do you aim for that every sedentary day?

And thank you both for Dress feedback - might post again when I can try them on!

Naughtysausage · 14/11/2017 22:41

Paws I've only ever managed to give up sugar for lent. Could you try to cut it out of one meal each week until you had cut it out completely?

splatattack · 14/11/2017 22:46

Sausage I try not to go above 800 on a non exercise day. I know could have had more today but I missed breakfast because work was insane this morning so only managed an apple, I only planned to have the quorn sausages and egg for lunch, and really felt like some peanut butter with apple chunks for dinner (craving something sweet)... I'm a little peckish now but it's a bit late so making do with my chocolate square.

I am aiming for no/minimal carbs, dairy and sugar on this diet...I feel much better and healthier if I'm honest...just am not seeing an immediate change on the scales which I know I need to chill out about Hmm

How long do you think it will take you to reach your goal? Can I ask what height you are? I'm worried because i am very much a pear shape losing weight from hips and thighs is harder than other parts of the body? I could be very wrong with this...

TheDonald · 14/11/2017 22:46

Paws I gave up sugar for the whole of October and after the first few days found it really easy. I've fallen off the wagon a bit in the last week due to family visit and birthdays but I will get back on it now until Christmas.

I found I needed to not worry so much about calories in the first few days and made sure I had cashews, cheese etc to replace the sugary snacks.

I think it's much harder if you have sugar in hot drinks. Maybe start with that if you do.
