Managed a weekend without going totally off the rails. Go me.
Got an invite through to my best friends wedding at the end of March. I will be thin toned and gorgeous by then.

I laughed out loud at butter experiences!! Grin

I really miss butter...😢

Morning All, being a pathetic scary cat regarding standing on the scales. Have had a great weekend though. did a sort of fast two meal a day combo thing. Brunch on Saturday and Sunday of a protein shake at 400 cals each, at 10:30am and then a 500 cal meal at 5pm consisting of grilled salmon, with lots of steamed veggies and 1 table spoon of hollandaise sauce (gotta live a little) no wine and no chocolate and nothing remotely enjoyable to the point I went to bed at 8pm last night - woke up this morning feeling brand new. Pret Porridge this morning, and then salmon and veggies for lunch and courgette soup for dinner - this is the plan till Wednesday morning and I will brave the scales - then its away for six days for work and hotel/event food which is never waistline friendly!

Keep going everyone - the results I'm reading about are fantastic!!!!

splatattack · 13/11/2017 11:40

And thank you for all the encouragement!! I will keep you updated of my whoosh moment...fingers crossed!!

Good luck this week everyone!!!

Happy birthday poorpaws! Flowers

Butter experience GrinGrin Love it!

Koko maintaining on 2250 is great! The pottering around is probably using up lots of energy. If you are a very sedentary person, even if you go to the gym for an hour a day that's not going to make that much of a difference if you are sitting/lying down for the other 23 hours. Whereas it sounds like you are on the go for most of the day! As for the calories, maybe start with 1750 so you don't feel too deprived? Once you get into the swing of it you could reduce it a bit further.

Plumstone that sounds amazingly virtuous, well done!

I'm aiming for a fast day today, and I've booked a bodypump class for tomorrow afternoon. I'm actually quite looking forward to it, in a weird way!

Just checking in. I'm down 3 1/4 pounds for November so far.

I've been planning my exercise for the rest of the month, I like to plot it all out and tick it off as it happens! I managed park run on Saturday, and a long walk and an insanity workout yesterday. Today is a rest day (but I'll still manage my 10,000 steps).

DH made me a lovely baked fish and lentil dish last night with a pesto, sounded great until I put it into MFP and it came out as over 1000 calories a portion. Bloody pesto, bloody oil.

twinkledag · 13/11/2017 14:11

I lost 1lb this week so down to 10st 10.

Today's menu -

Breakfast - porridge and blueberries
Lunch - chicken with lots of salad and green veg
Dinner - halloumi and salad
Snacks - 2 bisuits

ponygirlcurtis · 13/11/2017 16:53

Happy birthday poorpaws. Smile

That sounds really positive last, keep at it.

As a low carber I am having a lot of butter experience. Grin

QuimReaper · 13/11/2017 17:30

koko the pottering does build up steps, I notice it quite a bit myself, but if you still tend to come in under 10K I'd call that sedentary. Which step counter were you using? My FitBit definitely clocks trips to the loo and cleaning the kitchen and things.

TieGrr · 13/11/2017 17:59

Having a bad day today. Work stressful so I've been consoling myself with lots of chocolate and crisps. Nearly 1400 calories today, and over 1000 of those were from junk food.

Soup for dinner and a stern talking to myself is in order.

Feeling a bit disheartened today. I should be losing but instead have gained a few lbs in the last few days. I know I am due my period which may have an impact but it isn't fair. I even forgot to eat my breakfast this morning and only realised when it got to lunch time. (I'm becoming a person who forgets to eat - how unexpected!). Grr.

poorpaws · 13/11/2017 22:24

Thank you everyone. I had a brilliant day today, really enjoyed it but consumed a tremendous amount of calories. I have another meal out tomorrow with a family member and that’s it, I have to start reducing my food intake then. If I do go on the naughty step I could be there for months!

Hope everyone is having a good week. I will be catching up soon (hopefully).

NamasteNiki · 14/11/2017 00:27

Really busy weekend action packed with exercise.

Today though have been on the couch all day. Good news is I barely ate 700 cals today {monday}. The bad news is, I cant eat as I had my wisdom teeth and even talking is painful.

NamasteNiki · 14/11/2017 00:28

  • had my widsom teeth taken out.

Evidently I can neither talk nor type! Grin

HappyGowerGirl · 14/11/2017 06:59

Yikes Niki I hope you recover soon. I had this done a couple of years ago, it was pretty brutal though altogether less painful than the alternative (recurrent infections by wisdom teeth).

Weighed in this morning at 9.5! (59.7kg). The last few pounds seem to be coming off very slowly. I don't mind that though, as long as they come (and stay!) off.

SpuriouserAndSpuriouser · 14/11/2017 08:00

Kiera Sorry you're having a tough time. To be honest I try to avoid weighing myself before a period if I can avoid it, because it is so disheartening. I'm sure if you keep plugging away at it though you'll see results sooner rather than later Flowers

I'm pretty sure consuming tremendous amounts of calories is the law on birthdays poorpaws!

That sounds horrible Niki, hope you feel better soon! Flowers

Love the video Soft!

Happy well done! I've also lost 0.1kg since yesterday. It's boring but I guess you are right, at least it's movement in the right direction!

HairsprayBabe · 14/11/2017 08:02

10.1 very surprising, thought the loss would be slower this week....

Could this week be the week I see 9 something?

splatattack · 14/11/2017 09:57

I am still 10st 1!!!! I have got to hit the magic 9 this week...I have been so good with my eating and have been active too!!! Waiting for the woosh....

Well done everyone on your losses...and good luck with your mouth Nicki...
