KOKO I wonder if you need to babystep towards the 1200 mark? It’s so easy to self sabotage when you set yourself a high standard that I wonder if you are just thinking ‘oh sod it’ and then crashing into junk.

Maybe today just say, I will eat 3 meals and no extras, but not worry too much about the meals being ‘diety’, just normal meals of what you want but no evening crisp and fizz frenzy. Take each day one at a time.

KikisDeliveryService · 09/11/2017 12:19

My personal triumph for the day was that I had a very difficult emotional situation to deal with this morning, which could easily have had the ‘oh sod it’ effect, but I didn’t buy comfort food to soothe my woes.

Equally I am now frozen to the spot and not doing anything actively useful/helpful but I need to take off my coat and get yoga pants on. It will calm me if I stretch and move.

QuimReaper · 09/11/2017 12:38

I totally agree with Kiki, koko (you two should have a double act Grin )

What is it that's going through your head when you start on the crisps and wine? It sometimes sounds to me like you try so hard to be "good" that you end up depriving yourself and losing self-control. Or is that not it at all? Can you have three filling meals, feel totally sated, but then something provokes you back into the kitchen? Is it just a bad habit? (I don't say that lightly, bad habits are SO hard to break!)

KeiraTwiceKnightley · 09/11/2017 12:51

Wow back, well done!

I can't boast of that kind of loss but I am more than 3lbs down since 1st Nov. Also lost an inch on my waist and half an inch off my comedy tits.

I'm really sorry, I had a burger Blush. Dust for dinner!

HairsprayBabe · 09/11/2017 14:08

Never mind Twinkle if you have a light dinner and no snacks for the rest of the day it might not be too much of an issue.

I had a Quorn chicken, fig and pear salad 312 cals. MILs for tea, probably stuffed peppers, but that is unconfirmed!

lastqueenofscotland · 09/11/2017 14:08

Hairspray you are doing amazing!!!

Softpebbles · 09/11/2017 14:11

Why are you aiming for 1200 Calories KOKO.

Are you exercising - how active is your life.

I have tried to stick to 1200 calories - it made me miserable - I failed and then I ate because I failed. I said to my PT that I find 1200 calories really hard to stick to, his reaction was well who told you that figure was what you should be eating! No one had it just seems to be the in figure to aim for. I'm not saying its a bad thing but we are all different. I know BOOP sticks to it and does great, we are similar weights from past threads and I aim for 1400 calories a day. What works for one doesn't work for us all.

1400 calories isn't much more but I seem to be able to manage around here and not feel guilty for going over.

Have you calculated how many calories a day you actually need to eat. Apparently if I was to sleep all day and do nothing my body needs 1383 calories to maintain weight.

Crikey sorry that long winded and sounds bossy but it isn't meant to be just sharing my experiences. Smile

NamasteNiki · 09/11/2017 14:38

I flirted with the 9s for months too

HairsprayBabe · 09/11/2017 14:51
